This is a courtesy post for our veterinarian's office. While we don't know the back story, we're sure they took them to save their lives. We would love to help them find a forever home! If you are interested in them, fill out the Cat Utopia application and we will forward to them for a response.
Sweet Pea (left pic) and Sprite (right pic) are our identical, 5 year old, spayed, female tuxedo kitties. These two sweet girls have been with us since November of 2023 and are waiting to find their forever home. They are not used to dogs or other cats but will easily get used to children. They are very outgoing and loving cats who are willing to pull out all the stops for affection (or catnip!). They are very bonded to each other and we are wanting to make sure they can go to a home where they can live out their 9 lives side by side.

Meet Bella, the perfect blend of energy and snuggles! At 9 years young, Bella may be considered a senior pup, but don't let that fool you - she's still got plenty of pep in her step! This pit bull/cur mix is 55 pounds of pure love and excitement. Bella's favorite pastime? Playing with tennis balls! Watch as she bounces around, picking up her beloved balls and tossing them for herself - it's a sight to behold! And when it comes to treats, her eyes light up like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Bella is just the right amount of couch potato and pro play time! While Bella may have a few quirks (like her dislike for vacuum cleaners and water), she more than makes up for it with her affectionate nature and impeccable house manners. Plus, she's a pro at sunbathing and enjoys leisurely walks and car rides. Although she's selective about her furry friends, Bella is an absolute sweetheart with people and would thrive in a home with older children or an active older couple. With her winning personality and endless love to give, Bella is ready to become the cherished companion you've been searching for!

THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents.
A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first!
Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.
2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.
3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

4. You will be notified of outcome of your application within 1-3 days.
5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:
- Bring a leash and collar and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.
- Meeting should be no longer than 1 hour. Our fosters are volunteers and we value and respect their time and personal commitments.
- All members of the household (including other dogs) must be present.
- Please be prepared to submit adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.
- If all goes well, the dog will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the dog. Because we have a limited amount of foster homes, we cannot hold dogs past adoption.

It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 5 days. Meet Nacho! Nacho had a rough start to his young life. He was brought to a shelter malnourished, underweight, had trouble seeing, and had mobility issues. When he was taken into foster care, it was thought that he was about 3-4 months old. However, when the vet examined him he was closer to 7 months old! His foster home made it their mission to restore Nacho to a healthy state showering him with a healthy diet and plenty of TLC. And all the love paid off - Nacho has gained weight, regained most of his eyesight, and can run, jump, and play with his favorite kicker toy! He's a sweet and loving boy who interacts well with the other cats and dogs in his foster home. He's a little shy at first with new people, but warms up quickly, especially if given hugs! Hello everyone! My name is Aladdin, but my foster mom likes to call me "Spunk"! I'm an almost 4 month old and 22 lb, beautiful mixed breed puppy and foster mom thinks I'm going to be about 50 lbs when full grown!

I got my Nickname, Spunk, because I am the most excited puppy ever! I do the cutest tippy taps whenever I see my humans, or food, or a new friend! I love playing with other doggie friends, and flip over to show them my tummy so they know I want to be friends and I'm not a threat! If foster mommy calls my name, I come RUNNING and jump into her lap for some love! Belly rubs and kisses are my favorite things and I will sit for a solid 60 seconds to get them before running off to get into shenanigans. I am so fun and goofy that foster mom can't help but smile and laugh when I do anything! I don't like sitting down much, but if foster mom gives me a chewy I'll happily sit near you and chew on my bone, until it's gone.
I'm just a baby, so everything is new to me! I'm officially out of puppy quarantine, so it's time to start learning some basics about potty and crate training. I hope my forever family will continue with my training and teaching me how to be the best boy.

Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door.
