Penny

I AM BONDED WITH PIXIE AND PADDY. WE MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER! Hi, We are Penny, Pixie and Paddy. We spent our whole life in a small crate, outside 24/7. Let's just say that our "owners" weren't very good at having pets... We were rescued by the good people of Houston Animal Rescue Team - HART and as hard as it's going to be, we are looking for a home all together. We aren't cute puppies anymore and we are of course heartworm positive. That gives us very little chance to find a forever home. To meet us, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-foster-application-formTo meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process

Elvis

Hey fans, Elvis here. What's that? I'm a hunka, hunka burning love. Well, you got that right. Just look at me. My mesmerizing eyes, my gorgeous amber coat, the cutest ears ever and muscles that don't quit. The volunteers say I am the complete package and I'd have to agree. WOOF! Boy, they know me from nose to tail. I am a little aloof, but love to be loved. Rub my ears, give me a treat and I melt, but spending quality time with my family means the world to me.. I look forward to my daily walks and start off cautiously checking out my surroundings and sniffing all the fabulous smells. Move slowly, give me a little time and space and once I feel grounded it's giddy up and go, go, go. I do have a little, secret, I also like to jog. When I get the urge, off I go trotting along with the wind in my ears, a smile on my face and you in tow. These short bursts, often called High Intensity Training (HIT), make me one good looking pup and is great for your health too. It's a win, win for you and me. Another little secret.. I do need to be the only pet in the home. No dogs or cats and no dog beach/dog park. You see, I'm ok being around other dogs, but I'm not one to share my personal space! I have even worked with a trainer on how to be well behaved, and you will definitely need to be on board to continue my awesome training! So dear friends, if you are looking for a hunka, hunka burning love who has it going on, I am the family member for you. Trust me, you won't regret it. I will fill your hearts with endless love, wags and kisses and you get to say, " Elvis is in the house!" *no other pets/adult home only/no apartment! Need big dog experience, no first time dog owners! *Please complete our online application for further consideration. We do best fit for both dog and family, and completing an application is not a guarantee of approval.

Clyde

Clyde..This huge boy is a 3.5 y.o, 110lb red Merle olde English bulldog. Clyde has been with us for over 1 year.. why ? Because he needs the perfect home & we will never carelessly place a dog just to place them. He is amazing with dogs outside of the home (dog parks or play dates). He lived in a home with a dog before but after a few months started guarding the other dog from the human, because of this behavior he will need to be the ONLY PET in the home. Clyde also has a bite history but with the proper training and handling he's gone through, he has learned to be the best boy he can be but needs someone to give him a chance. Clyde would do absolutely amazing in a home with NO children .. a couple or a single person would be perfect for him so he can be the perfect boy. He knows sit and enjoys car rides. Clyde, should he ever need .. comes with a trainer for life at zero cost to his adopter to continue with his maintenance training, as he already has graduated from a training program. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more! Located in Palm City, Fl **If a dog is still listed on our petfinder, YES they are still available. She was born in 2019 and was found living outside when she was young, but despite her rough start to life she is super sweet. She loves getting attention, being petted, and getting brushed! She does well with other cats but would also be fine as an only cat. Want to bring darling Joy aka Autumn home with you? Boris

FCIA rescued Boris, a rottweiler mix, from the shelter after his previous owner surrendered him due to his medical needs. He is 5 years old and weighs 82 pounds. He was suffering from chronic fungal and bacterial skin infections that had left him nearly bald, underweight, and with severe ear infections. Despite this, he remained very sweet and loving. After almost a year in our care that included intense and frequent medical tests and treatment, he is finally medically stabilized. He is happy, healthy and his coat is full and lush. Boris will require lifelong medication and routine vet checks. He is now on thyroid meds 2 times a day, iron supplements daily, an autoimmune shot every 10 days, and a special diet that controls his allergies. He remains sweet and loving and very playful with most other dogs . He does tend to guard his yard and person so needs an adopter with Rottweiler experience and one who is prepared to continue his health routine. Boris is so ready and deserving of his forever home. If you are that person, please contact us at FCIAadoptions@aol.com for more information. As we are currently not having any adoption events, we are asking interested people to please fill out our application at www. FCIAnimals.org and if it looks like a good match, we will arrange an introduction. We suggest a home with children over the age of 10 for this dog. This dog cannot be adopted out of state. Please see our home page for a list of our Saturday adoption sites. Every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application and the dog is placed in the home that would be most suitable for the dog. We do not place our dogs in homes with unfenced swimming pools. Generally we don't release the dogs at the adoption site that day except on occasion to former adopters.

Rowena

Rowena is a 9-10 year old lab mix (we did a DNA test and it came back lab/chow/golden retriever/pointer and several others) - about 60 lbs. She is house/kennel trained, and definitely wants to learn how to dog! She was found in 2019 living in a wood pile in Oklahoma protecting her puppies, so has some trauma there that needs worked through and a dedicated adopter will do so much for her. She needs a very structured living environment and a strong dog-savvy owner. She loves to be outside so would enjoy a nice physically fenced yard (no invisible fencing with her history, sorry). Privacy fencing will be preferred as she guards her territory. She will not do well in an apartment setting since she has a fear of strangers and needs muzzled on walks in strange places. She has been through heartworm treatment and will require an adopter who will keep her on preventatives and regular testing. She does well with dogs as long as they aren't tiny/can't be mistaken for squirrels or rabbits. She chases cats. She is food protective with other dogs, so will need to be fed separate / in kennel as a precaution. Once she is comfortable with you, she likes to snuggle and give kisses and hugs -- but it may take a few weeks for her to warm up fully. No kids for Roe -- fast movements and small creatures with her don't mix. Her adoption fee is $250. If you have an easy-going and patient lifestyle that will give this girl the structure she needs and are interested in meeting Rowena, please put an application in at www.foreverhomedogs.org and we will set up a meet with you!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Jett

Who could resist this handsome face??? Jett is a Lab mix, about 8 years old, and weighs around 70 lbs. He loves people of all ages (including kids), and aims to please! Jett is athletic and active, and would enjoy a forever home with a fenced-in yard so he can play with his soccer ball (or any ball, really). He is very well-trained and obedient; he is well-mannered on his walks and is fully potty and crate trained. Jett is dog-selective, and would prefer a home where he can be the only dog; no cats for this guy either please. Jett is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Lily

Lily is a very sweet and shy little tabby. She was spayed at the vet as a feral and her ear was clipped, but was so docile they didn't want to just turn her out so she came to my rescue (lol). She's very quiet but has a playful spark in her eyes. She does have the cutest tiny meow when she's reminding you to feed her. She loves to be pet and brushed gently.

Tiara

This is Tiara. Tiara is a wild retriever from Georgia. She is a great dog and once she is comfortable with her surroundings she will open up as she is a bit timid. She needs someone who has experience with dogs, will give her time to adjust and has the patience to help her become comfortable in a home. She MUST be in a home with one or more confident friendly dogs that she can play with. A home with a fenced in backyard is a MUST, as she loves to play outside. Tiara is working on getting comfortable in the car and lease training. She does not do well on a lease but in time will be capable. She is about 2 years old and about 30 lbs when she is fully grown. Tiara is fully vetted, up to date on shots, spayed/microchipped, and on flea tick and heart worm prevention. If you can give Tiara the love and home she deserves contact us on blessedpawsanimalrescue@gmail.com or call Vickie on 561 306 9363.
