She loves people, craves attention, and follows her foster around the house. She enjoys taking naps in cozy spots with her person in the vicinity. Susie is very food-motivated; she keeps track of mealtime and even does a little twirl when food is served. She loves toys and all kinds of treats! We rescued little Susie and several others who were dumped behind a Walmart during a frigid period in January. Susie is a love bug toward humans but does not like other animals. Hippo was surrendered to a shelter we help and we don’t know why. We were able to save her thanks to one of our foster’s who took her into her home. Now Hippo is ready for adoption, and we know there’s a family who will adopt this sweet girl and love her forever. Hippo has been around children as young as 4 years old, and she is very sweet to them. She is silly and easy going. She loves to give kisses and wants to be friends with anyone she meets. She does good on a leash and is already house trained. We don’t know anything about her past before coming to the shelter, but we think that she is a French Bulldog based on her physical traits. She has one beautiful blue eye and always smiles. Hippo weighs 25 pounds, and she is 6 months old. Hippo has been spayed, vaccinated for DHPP, bordetella and rabies.
