Marley

Say hello to Marley! Marley is a gorgeous 18-month-old yellow lab! She is on the smaller side, at only 48 pounds. She is crate trained and leash trained and loves every person and dog she meets. Marley is a happy, energetic, enthusiastic girl who loves to play a good game of fetch or retrieve with her favorite toys. She loves to be the life the party and will make you laugh every day with her silly antics. Marley gets so excited to see you that she will want to jump and give you a hug. We are working to discourage this behavior but she is still learning! Marley has all the attributes of a lab, energy, playfulness, smiles for days and a zest for life. She would love an active home, with or without other dogs, but please, no cats! She active enough that she would probably do best with older kids but ultimately is just looking for a family that is as happy as she is! If you are interested in Marley and are an approved adopter, please contact your Adoption Coordinator to be added to Marley’s list. If you are not yet approved, you can find our adoption guidelines and application at: www.savealabrescue.org Marley is fostered in RI

Peanut Butter Blossom

“Peanut Butter Blossom” is a 6-month-old chocolate lab / hound mix. She will be about 45-50 pounds full grown. She loves ?? cuddling, to be held like a baby, and belly rubs. She is great with little kids and other dogs. She is high energy but definitely knows how to settle down and relax the day away. Peanut Butter loves to go on jogs with her mom and to be with her family and interact with them. She enjoys chew toys and squeaky toys. Unfortunately, her current family has small children and she runs out the door if they open it. She needs a family that has time to spend with her- either playing in a securely fenced in back yard or taking her on walks. This girl has so much love to give - she just needs someone with the time to give her the attention and exercise that she deserves. Peanut Butter is kennel trained and house-broken. She is already spayed and is vaccinated. Please text Ashley at +1 (320) 291-0984 if you are interested in adopting her.

Rhett

Our next transport date will be Saturday April 6th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to come back to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. Rhett and his siblings were picked up on the side of the road by animal control after their mother was hit and killed by a car. No one is sure if they were dumped or if they just went for a walk and mom got in trouble, but no one ever came for any of them. We were told mom was a lab mix and appeared to be mostly lab. Rhett is a beautiful boy. He is very sweet and loving always ready to be picked up and snuggled. He loves playing with his siblings and toys and loves a good cuddle even more. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please do not delay completing the application. There is always a high interest in our puppies and applications are processed for approvals as received when at all possible. Using the link or copying and pasting the link is the quickest way to get the application to us. https://form.jotform.com/222705071398154 The total adoption fee ($350) includes transport to designated locations: Collinsville, Springfield, Bloomington, Ogelsby, Roscoe IL, then Mukwonago and Sheboygan WI. *Madison and Loves Park area adopters will need to meet us in Roscoe, IL. **St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, Il (this pick-up will be Friday evening). ***Green Bay and Fon Du Lac adopters will meet us in Sheboygan. ****Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby, IL. Most of our puppies will travel with two rounds of vaccines and sometimes three. Occasionally we will not have had them long enough for the second round. You will receive vaccination records for your puppy prior to transport. Our puppies less than 6-8 months old will not be spayed or neutered and the cost of out of state surgery is not included in our adoption fees. Spaying and neutering is an adoption contract requirement that it will be done by the puppy's first birthday. This will be at the expense of the adopter. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3, proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All of our dogs will be located in Texas in foster care until adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do the best we can based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father. In other words, the litter can be full of half siblings with different fathers for the puppies. Visit our Facebook page: Atlanta Texas Area Spay/Neuter Project

Curly Fries

This sweet little guy is Curly Fries, the Bearded Dragon! Since Curly Fries was not provided with proper lighting as a baby, he developed some minor Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) in his hips and tail. However, this cutie does not let his slight wonkiness slow him down! His sweet personality makes him the perfect cuddle buddy! Curly Fries would appreciate a 4’x2’x2’ enclosure or larger for his forever home, as he needs plenty of room to roam and bask.
