BunBun

BunBun is a very sweet little mini-Rex who was rescued from the side of the road where some evil human who was tired of him left him to die. He is 3-4 years old (we think). He loves attention and to be petted, but isn't wild about being picked up (as is the case with 98% of all rabbits). He is currently living in a large x-pen, and is litter trained. He loves to run around in a bunny proofed room, and would probably be a really great free-range bunny. He has lived with 2 young children, and 2 cats and has done well with both. He will need to be neutered prior to adoption, and would really like another bunny (spayed female) to keep him company. If you would like to adopt BunBun, please contact the Missouri House Rabbit Society in Kansas City.

Tara

2-Year-Old. Spayed Female. American Bulldog Mix. Brindle with White. 68 lbs. How can you not fall in love with this adorable face?! Well, she has the best personality to match. Tara has lived with other dogs, and she tends to do better with males than other female dogs. She doesn’t do well with cats, so she needs to be in a home without them. She has also lived with kids, did great with them, and was very gentle. Tara loves her time outside with her people, going for walks and exploring the world, and is ready for her next adventure. If Tara seems like a great fit for your family, please call the Adoption Center at 802-483-6700 to schedule a time to see her.

Gumbo

Gumbo is one of 5 puppies born to parents Nola and Buzz. Nola and Buzz are both pictured here so you can see they are both small-medium size beagles. Gumbo was born on 2/2/2023 and will be ready to leave after March 27th. Please research beagles before applying. Puppies are a lot of work regardless of breed, and beagle puppies really like to chew. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard. We also want to make sure the puppy is not left alone all day while people are working. Older kids are OK but no children under 5 due to nipping and chewing. Gumbo and her siblings are very healthy. She has had her first set of vaccinations, is micro-chipped and has been de-wormed. If interested in Gumbo, our application can be found at www.homesfurhounds.com.

Happy LOVES being outdoors, laying in the sun. He is good on the leash and LOVES his walks, but knows how to chill in the home. He is good in the home, not destructive. Delilah

Hi, my name is Delilah! Things about me you might like to know: Breed: A mixed-breed special! My foster mom says I’m part rabbit because of the way I bounce when I’m happy! Color: When I arrived, I didn’t have a lot of fur but now I am a sleek black and white gal! Size: 35-40 pounds Age: Approximately 1.5 years Activity level: Moderate to very active however I can relax with a bone just fine. Things I do in my free time: I love running, bones, balls, toys, going on walks, playing with other four-legged friends, and curling up on the dog bed for a snooze. Things I know: I am 100% potty trained! Things I am working on: Basic obedience and personal space boundaries (I just can’t get enough human affection!) Kennel: Overall, I am perfectly fine in my crate but occasionally I can make a little noise if I wasn’t quite ready to be in there. I will quickly lay down and patiently wait for you to let me back out. Kids: I am currently living with a two year old little boy and I adore him! Sometimes I get a little too excited to see him and will knock him over but it’s always an accident and I say I’m sorry with extra kisses. Dogs: I currently live with two adult dogs and enjoy romping around with one of them. The other one’s energy level doesn’t quite match mine, so I do my best to leave him alone. I would do great in a house with or without other dogs. Cats: Unknown Car Rides: I do great in the car! Walking: Going on a walk is one of my favorite pastimes! I could use a little work on healing but my foster mom tells me all the time how good a girl I am while we are out and about. I hardly pull at all! Additional information: I came from Alabama where I was a stray and brought into a local shelter. I have learned I am safe and my personality is coming out more each day. My foster mom says I am a social butterfly who wants to meet and kiss everyone. Being in a home with a fence would be awesome because I like to use the yard for zoomies but I do not require a fence if I get adequate exercise. All in all, I am just so thankful to be loved and cared for. I’m a blank slate hoping to continue with training and be the best companion! If you would like to meet Delilah, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.
