Tops
Tops is officially available for adoption. She is a 20+ year old Percheron/Standardbred cross mare. These photos were taken the exact same day, Intake, just different angles. Tops was rescued from a kill pen and she needs a soft landing. She is almost completely blind in her right eye and is completely blind in her left. She can see to get around, find the round bale and self waterer in her paddock. Tops knows her name well and comes to it.
Tops has no vices, she leads, loads, ties and bathes with zero concern. She pastures with mares and geldings of all sizes and just does her own thing, very low key and easy going.
She had her dental exam on Monday and she has lots of missing teeth and the ones left, are just nubs. At this point she is still doing well and gaining by being on a round bale.
Tops has done hard time as a work horse and would love to live out her years as a Pampered pasture ornament. Can someone offer a sweet ol gal a soft landing?

Introducing Spell and Charm! They are a bonded pair of FIV+ sisters that are looking for a loving home together. They were sadly found as tiny strays before being brought into safety and placed in one of our loving foster homes where they were cared for until ready for adoption. They are now at NAWS waiting to find their forever family.
Spell is the more outgoing sister - she can be a bit cautious at first, but then warms up quickly and shows her sweet personality. Spell is curious and will greets visitors hoping for some pets and attention. According to her previous foster, Spell is a sweet little purr machine. She likes to play and gets the zoomies.
Charm is the more timid sister - she is shy and still learning about love from humans. She is becoming more trusting every day and follows her sister's lead. She loves to snuggle with her sister. When we go slow with her, she relaxes and starts to enjoy pets. She will need time to adjust to a new home, but with patience and love, we believe she will blossom. Earning the trust and love of a shy kitten is a very rewarding experience!
Spell and Charm are FIV positive. They would need to be the only cats in a home, live with other FIV positive cats or possibly live other non-aggressive cats. They are beautiful girls that deserve a loving home.

This always happy supermodel/pro athlete mix really turns heads! Jack is an extrovert who welcomes everyone he meets. Stranger? There are none in Jack’s life - he loves all people.
Up for some fetch? Jack will fetch a toy and bring it back to you, drop it at your feet and sit politely waiting for the next throw. Car rides are pretty high up on Jack’s list of awesome things. He loves to chill in the backseat while headed to his next adventure.
Jack has had professional training and knows the basics – sit, down, place, touch and stay. He is housetrained and able to be out during the day to hang out and wait for you while you work. When you come home, this extrovert loves a couch cuddle packed with belly rubs.

Stephen is a super sweet and loving boy who just wants cuddles and a nice bed to sleep in. He is great on a leash, love walks, romping around the yard or just relaxing on the couch. He prefers to lay where you are laying so good luck playing couch tag. He would do best in an adult only home as he does not do well with commotion or high activity situations. We are really hoping someone will find it in their heart to adopt this sweet boy. A family with Cocker Spaniel experience would be preferred.

Sweet and handsome Tuxedo kitty that gut surrendered to the rescue - FIV +. Loves to sit in your lap while you work on your computer - so he will make a wonderful work from home companion. He purrs as soon as you start talking to him. He loves treats and will follow where ever you rattle bag or bag of treats. His fur is super soft and silky and very shiny. He does an excellent job of grooming himself each and every day!! He is very very good about using his cardboard scratcher. He has recently learned to wear a cat harness. He loves to look outside so a big window with a view is a must He would do well as an only cat or with one calm kitty friend.
