Loch Ness Monster, called Nessie by her foster mom, is anything but a monster! She is the smallest of her siblings and a little shy around new people or situations, but once comfortable, she is a playful and silly little kitten. She enjoys food, playing with any type of toy, and being with her siblings and humans. She is currently being fostered with her sisters, Dana Scully and Sassy (Sasquatch), and her brother, Fox Mulder. They are all available for adoption. Because Nessie is used to having many foster siblings, we think she would do best in a home with at least one other cat/kitten. All animals, kittens included, will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines before adoption. Each cat also has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. She is also FIV/FeLV negative. Gentle Geppeto Ciao! My name is Geppeto. Just like the character from Pinocchio, I'm a sweet fella looking for a loving family. I'm an 8-year-old, 20-pound, Shetland Sheepdog mix. I came to The Animal Pad during the tragic shopping cart incident. I'm blind and have some muscle loss in my hind legs. I'm currently receiving Cytopoint injections to help resolve skin allergies and I hope I'll be feeling like a real boy soon! It's evident that I was suffering for some time, but I'm healing mentally and emotionally every day. Just like Pinocchio returns to Geppeto, I hope I can find a loving family with you! As I mentioned, I'm coming out of my shell as I adjust to this new life. I'm becoming more playful day by day and my pawsonality is starting to shine! However, I'm still timid and need time to gain confidence. I'm friendly with other dogs but prefer mellow, sweet pups. I haven't met any cats, but I hope we'd be pals! I do well with kids and love getting pets from all humans. When I'm not playing around I enjoy walks, exploring, and getting lots of love. I'm a sucker for some snuggles and never turn down love and affection. I'm hard at work at my training and making great progress. I'm working on bathroom, house, and leash training with my foster. I know that with routine and practice, I'll be a very good boy no lies! I get a bit sad when you leave, but I'll settle down shortly. I hope I can keep training with you! Who doesn't love a Sundae? Sundae is an approximately 1-2 years old female Beagle currently weighing about 18 lbs). She is a sweetheart. She was found in Southern Missouri running the streets with a male Beagle in Mid-March. She was taken in to Rescue and it was found she was pregnant. She came to Omaha to live with her foster mom. On April 21st, she had 8 puppies! Sundae is an excellent mom to her puppies (the Sundae toppings litter). Now that her puppies are weaned, Sundae is finally able to learn what it is like to be a young pup. She is playing with toys and her fur siblings. Sundae loves to go outside and is potty trained. She will need to know where the door to go outside is. She uses the dog door at her foster mom's. The only accident she had was when she first came to her foster home and didn't know how to let her foster mom she needed to go. She figured out the dog door almost immediately and there hasn't been an issue since. She sleeps with the teen in the foster home. Sundae will be available for adoption once she is spayed & microchipped on June 30. She is also current on all shots. Pj is a loving two year old male that had trauma to his eye and had to have it removed. He is always making biscuits and is a total lap cat. He'll even talk to you. At his foster home he became attached to a shy cat named Diedre. He would walk around crying with a toy in his mouth looking for Diedre. We are hoping they can go together. If not we would love to place him in a home where he will be loved. He's been through so much.
