French Fry

Meet French Fry! This little potato nugget is estimated to be about 2 - 3 years old and we believe she is a dachshund-chihuahua mix (often called a Chiweenie, but really just a cute little mutt!). French Fry is shy when she first meets people, but she warms up very quickly and makes strong bonds fast. She is affectionate and silly, and just as cute as can be. We are still getting to know this little sweetie and will update her bio as she settles in, but so far she is a delight! ...

Wilby

This adorable litter was born in amazing foster home. Their momma was found incredibly pregnant wandering as a stray. She was picked up by animal control. We pulled her out of the local shelter and she had 7 beautiful healthy babies in her foster home. Mom is a smaller dog (around 20-25lbs)! We do not know what dad looked like, but we suspect these pups will be medium/small (maybe between 20-40lbs, but that is just a guess!) These pups really hit the jackpot. They have been socialized so well in foster care and are healthy and lovely in everyway.... including the puppy breath! Please inquire by submitting an application at www.lifelinetx.org/adopt

Alaska 37514

Alaska is a 6-month-old male Husky (possibly Collie) mix who will be neutered before he is adopted. His medium coat is tan with white and black markings. Alaska is an unusually beautiful young dog. He currently only weighs 23 pounds so we don't think he will weigh more than 35 pounds as an adult. It is so hard for us to believe that he was found as a stray out in the county and no one came to get him. Alaska will be good with children and other dogs. We are still learning about his precious guy but we do know he will quickly be adopted. If you are interested--come soon or you will miss out on your chance to adopt a sweetheart.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a spay/neuter certificate which will help with the cost of spay/neuter. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

Sandy is an 8 month old Pyrenees mix. She is very sweet and is still all puppy. She is potty trained, kennel trained and good with dogs and cats. Sandy is up to date with all vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She is shy but loves the attention. Would recommend being around kids 8 year and up. She doesn't really know how to be a dog due to not being socialized but she can't wait to be with her human and shows lots of positive energy when introduced to new things. If you are interested, complete the Adoption Application on our website at www.NeedyPaws.org and we will contact you. Adopters must live within an hour's drive of St. Louis, MO. Rocky

Hi, I'm Rocky. I am going on 2. I love to play ball (soccer) in the yard and be taken on my daily walks. I am already neutered, vaccinated, and chipped. I get along with dogs, cats, super kid friendly, people friendly, bird friendly (lol). Birds come up to me while I'm chilling. I enjoy their company. I am a calm boy that loves to play. I'm not too hyper. So I might do best in a home with another mellow doggie.

Lizzy2

Oh Lizzy! Lizzy is approximately 6m old. We suspect she's a Great Pyrenees as she has many of the breed characteristics, including double dew claws. She is shy at first but quickly warms up. She loves dog and kids and cats as well. She has been exposed to horses, pigs, goats and cows and does well but she's still a puppy and learning. She came into rescue with a burn on her back that is healing. She is microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention. She will be spayed in approximately 2 weeks so her adopter will need to bring her back to our vet. Absolutely no exceptions. Her adoption fee is $400. Bob

Dog Name: Bob Breed: Lab Mix Sex: Male Age: Approx 5 months Weight: 40ish lbs Medical Needs: Neuter date set for 6/28 in dover. Cost is covered by the rescue so long as the appointment is kept. No other medical needs known Housebroken: it's a work in progress. He doesn't give us any signs that he needs to go out so we let him out every 30 minutes to an hour. He has had a few accidents in the house but will always go if you take him right out after. Will poop while eating if he's not gone yet and gets too excited Crate trained: getting there screams for 10-15 minutes and then will settle. If he hears commotion then will bark again and takes time to settle. He does also anticipate us getting up in the morning and will bark but we're working on that. Mostly sleeps through the night and hasn't had any accidents in his crate Good in the car: pretty quiet! Just likes to sleep and look Good on a leash: figuring it out. Respects when you change directions and goes potty well. Still learning about staying on one side Energy level: medium-high. Bob likes to go all the time and would love a family that can keep his brain and body occupied Need a fenced in yard: no, we don't have one but what pup wouldn't love a fenced in yard! Dog Friendly: mostly. Still learning how to respect corrections If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No but if so, he'd enjoy a dog that matched his energy level. He likes to play! Cat Friendly? Has been around cats but not great with them. Not aggressive at all just wants to play and doesn't understand what it means when they hiss and bat at him. He's good so long as the cat is not moving Kid Friendly: unsure If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Bob hasn't met any kids yet but I doubt he'd have issues. He is still learning people boundaries but isn't really mouthy or jumpy. I'd recommend ages 4+ supervised just to be safe! Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Bob is a sweet, energetic, charismatic pup! We don't know too much about him other than he was dumped and set to be euthanized. Who couldn't want a pup with eyes like his?! He is insanely smart but still has a puppy attention span. He's currently mastering his sit and learning to lay down. We're working on patience coming out of the crate, in and out of the house, and at meal times. He's loved every person he's met and they've loved him! He definitely brings a sense of youth to the house and will sing you the song of his people. Not to mention when he does nap, he gives great snuggles. We are working through VERY minor food aggression with high value items (bones, kongs, lick mats) as this guy is extremely food and toy driven. He's going to be super easy once he figures out his routine and settles a little (and finds his forever home).
