Gigolo

Meet Gigolo and Gigilette!! This delightful duo is a bonded pair who do absolutely everything together, from cuddling up for naps to playfully chasing each other around the house. They were surrendered by a caring owner who could no longer take care of them but wanted them to have a chance at a wonderful new life. Now, through Abbey Cats, they’re searching for a forever home that will appreciate their unique personalities and close bond. Gigolo, the boy, is a true cuddle bug with a gentle spirit. If you’re looking for a companion who loves affection, Gigolo is your guy. He’ll meow sweetly to ask to be picked up and revels in any chance to curl up in your arms. His playful side shines when he’s batting at balls and exploring his surroundings. Gigolo is extremely social, welcoming strangers with a friendly purr and eager to make new human friends. Gigilette, the girl, is the queen bee of the two! She’s got a strong personality and isn’t afraid to show it. Vocal and confident, Gigilette will let you know when she wants attention and isn’t shy about being the boss. She’s affectionate in her own way, loving her interactions with people and ensuring she’s always in the spotlight. While she has a bold streak, she’s also sweet and playful, making her the perfect mix of spunk and love. These two have always lived indoors and have become very attached to each other over time. If they’re separated, they’ll search for each other, often calling out with soft meows until they’re back together. They’re fantastic with kids and are very adaptable, adding joy and liveliness to any environment. They adore their foster mom and are ready to bring that same warmth and affection to their new family. If you’re looking for a pair that’s full of love, personality, and playfulness, Gigolo and Gigilette would be the perfect addition to your home. Could they be the forever friends you’ve been looking for? Gigolo and Gigilette MUST be adopted together!! Frasier & Niles

In a quiet neighborhood, two kittens—Frasier and Niles—found each other after being lost and alone outside. Frasier, the older of the two, is a confident and affectionate black kitten who loves the company of humans. He easily adapts to new situations, often curling up in laps or seeking out gentle pets. On the other hand, Niles, a small worried-faced tabby, is a timid little fellow who is still warming up to the idea of being around people. His trust in others is a work in progress, but his bond with Frasier is undeniable. The two quickly became inseparable, with Niles following Frasier everywhere he goes. Niles looks up to Frasier as a role model, mirroring his every move. When Frasier explored new corners of their foster home, Niles was right behind him, curious yet cautious. Though he still struggles with being touched, Niles finds comfort in Frasier’s presence. Surprisingly, he allows people to pet him while he’s eating, but only if Frasier is beside him, enjoying his meal too. This little act shows how much Niles relies on his older friend for reassurance as he navigates his fears. The bond between Frasier and Niles is heartwarming, as they balance each other out perfectly. Frasier’s loving nature encourages Niles to take small steps toward becoming more social, while Niles brings a sense of purpose to Frasier’s life. Together, they are a duo that is not only adorable but also a reminder of the importance of companionship. They need to be adopted together, as their shared journey will help Niles continue to grow and thrive, with Frasier by his side every step of the way. Frasier & Niles are great with other cats and should be fine with respectful older kids. They are neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. Now all they need is a forever home, so click the link to apply for them! http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm

Lacy

Lacy is a 6-month-old, 17-pound Dutch Shepherd/Chihuahua mix puppy. We know for a fact that mama was a Chihuahua because we took her in along with two puppies. Dutch Shepherd is our best guess for the father, but he could have just been a handsome stranger! Our best guess at her weight when she’s full-grown is about 25 pounds. She has beautiful brindle coloring and a very sweet disposition. She lives in a house with 6 dogs (all sizes), 5 cats and people, and she loves everybody! Lacy loves to lay next to you and get belly rubs. She will follow you everywhere. She is crate-trained and very close to being fully house-trained. She loves her toys and will toss them in the air and catch them endlessly. Outside, she loves to play zoomies around the yard with the other dogs. Lacy’s adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, all shots & microchip. She is heartworm-negative and on heartworm medication. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Tuffy

Meet Tuffy! Age: young Weight: 8 pounds Good with: other small dogs and older, respectful kiddos House trained: not yet (my injury has hindered this a little), but I'm getting more a ware of when I need to go, which helps in my progress! Crate trained: foster mom puts my in a pack and play made for babies, not a crate, and I do well in it! Special needs: lower spine injury (when I came into rescue I was dragging my back legs and had no use of them. With hard work, therapy, and determination, I am now walking on all 4 legs again and running to play with friends in the yard!) As you can see, I'm just a young, little guy. I'm super sweet and love my humans! I'll let you know if new people come into the house, but I warm up quickly, and just hope the visitors will love me! I have been working really hard to recover from my injury, and doing wonderful, but I still have some times that I drag my back legs. Mainly when I get tired after a long day of doing all the things! I'm looking for my very own family who will continue with my rehab and will be patient with me regarding this. Since I couldn't really tell when I had to go potty while my injury was at its worst, it's been a longer process in my house breaking. I wear a belly band inside for now, but foster mom takes me out a lot so I'm getting the hang of going outside to potty. I know that I have a little more work ahead of me, but I also know that I'm going to be an amazing addition to a family! Don't miss out on all I have to offer! *Tuffy is being fostered in Sullivan, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Wheeler

Meet Wheeler! Wheeler is about 11 weeks old (at the end of October). We really have no idea what breed mix he is, but the freckles on his face, and his size, might indicate Australian Shepherd mix. His fur is super soft. If we had to judge based on The size of his feet, he doesn’t look like he would be more than 30 pounds at his adult weight. Wheeler is very sweet. He loves people, but what he really loves is playing with his BFF in his foster home, Sparky (also posted). Sparky is a few weeks older and a little bit smaller than he is, but really acts like a big brother. The two boys run together and wrestle and play constantly. We call them “brothers from another mother“, lol. We’d really love to see the two boys go to a home together. Having a playmate and another young dog in a dog pack when they are growing up creates much better socialized adult dogs. The first part of our process is to have you complete our adoption application. This helps us make compatible matches. You can find the application on our indigorescue.org website under the Adoption tab. We’ll get back to you from there. **Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. Thank you!
