She is a sweet-tempered and affectionate pup, great with children and other dogs, and very eager to please. Being the good girl that she is, she is house trained, good in her crate and walks nicely on leash. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking and long walks.

Kris is neutered now and current on his vet care. He joined us from the Rochester City Shelter and is approx 10 mths old and 32 lbs. We don't expect him to get much bigger. He does well with cats and dogs and loves people. He well make a wonderful addition to any home.
Hey there, Peeps! I'm called Kris, but I'm young enough to understand other names. When I came to my Foster mom's house I didn't understand the dog door...but she says I'm sooo smart because I figured it out really fast!

My foster Mommy says I'm a real "Love Bug" because I absolutely love being touched... scratchings, ear rubs, belly scrubs...even the ticklish spot she found

I have recently discovered "toys"...a magical thing that makes squeaky noises that I LOVE!y foster mom says that because I'm still a baby, I can't play with those rubbery type toys because I eat them...and swallow

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.
All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.
We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.

notes: This precious, little man was found as a stray and was brought to an animal shelter. He was severely mattedd. Bambam is a doll. He is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs. Renzo
Meet Renzo!! This 1 1/2 year old little ball of energy is just the sweetest thing you will ever meet. He is playful and rambunctious and is always ready to jump into your lap for a good cuddle. Renzo was found as a stray in Texas at 8 months old skinny and heartworm positive. He stayed in Texas with a foster as he underwent heartworm treatment. Renzo is now healthy and made his way to Iowa to find his forever home. He enjoys other dogs that can match his playful energy. Renzo would do well with an active person or family. He has not been cat tested but can be at request. Renzo loves toys and playing outside. His favorite pastime is watching squirrels. Renzo is kennel trained, house trained and working on his basic commands. This little goofball would make a great addition to any family.
