Mr Waddle

var switchTo5x=false;stLight.options({publisher:'56e40c2a-2928-4a92-9903-c88366473aa8'}); If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application. Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________ Name: Mr Waddle Size: Medium range: 26-60 lbs Adoption Donation:$250 (applicable sales tax included).Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check. Other:Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip ** Mr. Waddle has a history of cystine crystals and needs to be kept on prescription food. Currently he is on Hill's UD. This can only be purchased through a veterinarian. Care with a primary vet should be established shortly after adopting to continue on the prescription food. The cost is about $132 for a 27.5 pound bag on Chewy. The food that he is on needs to be low in sodium and protein that produce neutral to alkaline urine. 9/27/24 Mr Waddle had a Prescrotal Urethrostomy performed. A prescrotal urethrostomy in dogs is a surgical procedure that involves creating a permanent opening for the urethra through the prescrotal region of a male canine. The urethra is part of the urinary system, described as a tube which carries urine from the bladder organ. This was done to correct a urine flow obstruction. A complication to the urinary system is a life-threatening condition that, if left untreated, can lead to loss of bladder muscle tone and infections of the urinary tract. Mr Waddle is a big ham Foster Home Feedback 10/29/24 Foster Feedback: Mr. Waddle loves to cuddle, so if you are a couch lounger he's your guy! He will curl up and spoon you for hours on end. If "no dogs on the couch" is your house rule, Mr. Waddle may not be the dog for you. I believe he is one with the couch, also your bed. Mr. Waddle is fostered with dogs of all sizes and is dog social. He prefers the company of smaller dogs and wrestling with pugs and a 4lb yorkie daily. He will become friends with social dogs with proper intros. He does not appreciate dominant dogs. This handsome lug is not super food motivated. He thrives on love. Mr. Waddle could care less about dog food and believes he should be allowed to eat at the dinner table. He does love his treats though! He loves toys and playing with his human. However, Mr. Waddle doesn't appreciate sharing toys or high value items he wants with other dogs. Mr. Waddle also loves to play and regularly has zoomies around the yard. A fenced yard is ideal for him; but he would also do well with leashed walks. He doesn't appreciate a tie-out or being away from his people ever. Mr. Waddle will sing a lovely yodel to let you know when he is displeased. He enjoys spending time outside in the sun and smelling all the things at his current foster farm. Mr. Waddle is cat friendly and doesn't seem to care much about them but will occasionally try to play with them. Mr. Waddle probably wouldn't be the best in an apartment. He becomes quiet in the crate but sings a nice long song of disapproval when he first goes in or anytime that he sees or hears people. Mr. Waddle is also a brilliant man who knows how to open doors with a lever handle. He is so smart! He would greatly benefit from some training classes if you could get him off the couch. Mr. Waddle also appreciates the company of women and children. He loves all people outside of the home (he does great at the vet) but on his property, he can be skeptical when he meets new people, especially men. Once Waddle knows you, you are his friend for life and he cannot stand to be away from you. He has the cutest butt wiggle I have ever seen. It's so fast and he has the most precious little nub! Mr. Waddle has a great desire to always be with his people. So, if you are looking for a go everywhere and do everything with you type of dog, he's your man. Origami

var switchTo5x=false;stLight.options({publisher:'56e40c2a-2928-4a92-9903-c88366473aa8'}); If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application. Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________ Name: Origami Size: (Once fully grown) ~ Large range: 61-100 lbs Adoption Donation:$250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate.Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check. Other: Intact Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption: 8 Weeks:Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption. 12 Weeks:Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice. 16 Weeks:Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of the adopter's choice. 6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. ** Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations. **Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area.Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice. ** Origami has a small umbilical hernia. If it is present at the time of the neuter it will need to be repaired at the adopter's expense. It will likely add about an additional $100 or so to the cost of the neuter, depending on the vet clinic. Origami will make you fall in love with him immediately Foster Home Feedback 11/1/24 Foster Feedback: Origami is thriving! He definitely has puppy energy, loves to eat, sleep and play. Everything is a chew toy! He really digs anything with soft fuzzies from blankets, pillows to slippers. He's had his vaccinations, wellness check and was microchipped this week. We learned Origami has an umbilical hernia that will need to be repaired at the time of neutering. He's transitioning from soft food to kibble. He eats fast so a slow feeder is a must with supervision. Potty training includes pee pads and he is now cleared for outdoor time. Origami sleeps in a pen with his teddy bear. We leave a sleep machine on with white noise for nighttime. He usually sleeps till 6:30 am, requires morning cuddles before work. We work from home, so Origami is a bit spoiled with not being in his pen till bed time or when we're out and about. He's done well being in his pen for about 5-6 hour time periods. Other: Spayed Female, Vaccinations current, Microchip Mochi will sweeten up your life! Foster Home Feedback 11/4/24 Building Volunteer Feedback: Mochi is currently staying at our shelter for about two weeks at the time of writing this little feedback blurb. While Mochi can take a moment to warm up to new people, but she is very modest about it. She is very treat motivated and appreciates a little snack when doing so. I can personally see her coming out of her shell quicker as everyday progresses, on an average day she will meet 5/6 new volunteers. Mochi is a very quiet dog in her kennel at the shelter; she just waits patiently for her turn for her walk with the volunteer, while the other dogs make themselves heard and seen. As of now, Mochi is going to need slow introductions with other dogs and the routine of a new home. She spent 5 days or so at a volunteer's home on a break and was able to get some time with that volunteer's pack, otherwise she did very well gated-off and took it slowly. I would imagine Mochi would appreciate dogs with somewhat of her easy-going demeanor, vs dogs that want to rough house all day long. As Mochi stays with us we are hopeful she will continue to progress, specifically if she gets into foster care. This particular dog is very tough to get to "know" at the shelter. Hopefully we can have some foster home feedback available at some point, but if not please apply to foster her. There will be lines of dogs much like Mochi just needing the safety and time of a foster home to thrive. Please consider bringing this sweetie into your home! WILLOW'S WEEBLES (ALL 9 ADORABLE PUPPIES AVAILABLE SOON)

Born 09/15/2024 4 Males 5 Females Willow's Weeble's will be adopted with Spay/Neuter contracts. When they reach their appropriate age, the adopter will be financially responsible for the Spay/Neuter. Rescue will require proof of Spay/Neuters which will be followed up on by rescue. Transportation Fee $250.00 Adoption Fee $275.00 Pregnant and in search of a safe place to bring her babies into the world, Momma Willow found solace under an old boat at some very kind people's home. Willow gave birth to 9 ADORABLE puppies each a unique blend of breed, personality and charm. The puppies appear to have a mix of several breeds, Australian Shepard, Border Collie, Great Pyrenees, Labrador and who really knows what else. Some were brindle with wiry hair and others sporting the markings as in the breed's mentioned above. Despite the differences in appearance, they shared one thing in common, they were HEALTHY, CURIOUS, PLAYFUL and dearly loved by their mother. We think mom is Vizsla and Black Mouth Cur. The homeowner's noticed Willow's presence under the boat could not ignore the quiet plea in her eyes so they began feeding and giving her water speaking soft, kind words to her. Finally rescue placed her puppies in a transport van and Willow stepped right on up the steps and as it is said, "a new beginning to life has just happened." All the babies and mom were infested with fleas and filthy--after all they were born in the dirt. They were all bathed and treated for intestinal parasites and are HAPPY, HEALTHY and TOTALLY ADORABLE, PLAYFUL babies at their new foster home. Willow has now realized that all humans are not mean, and she gives kisses and loves affection. Willow and the babies now spend their days in comfort and playing with toys and getting lots of love and anything else they may need. Willow's puppies are growing and will be ready for their new homes very soon. While the mystery of the puppy's father's will never be solved its apparent, they are the CUTEST ever and will all need loving homes! Willows's pictures are available, and she will eventually need a home as well. Get ready for SWEETNESS, CUDDLES, LOVE and lots of fun and puppy breath. If you feel like you can provide any of these puppy's a forever loving home, please contact Freedom Street Rescue. They will be ready for their homes in December.
