Hi there, I'm Fawn! My name comes from my soft brown doe eyes, which are probably the first thing you'll notice about me. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I open up.
It takes me some time to warm up to new people and places, especially since I'm not used to the hustle and bustle of life outside my hidey box. I'm the kind of bunny who prefers to come out when things are quiet and calm, and I'll skedaddle back to my safe spot if anyone gets too close too quickly.
But hey, I'm also a sucker for treats! Offer me something tasty, like banana, cilantro, or some delicious orchard loops, and I'll perk right up. I LOVE free-roam time, and I've been known to sploot in the middle of the room just to stretch out and relax.
I'm pretty tidy, too - I'm an excellent litter box user! And I've got a soft spot for chew toys. They're so much fun, and they help me feel safe and comfortable in my space. When I do feel safe, I adore head scritches. Once I trust you, I'll enjoy sitting with you and soaking in the love.
I'm easily startled by new noises and I'm still getting used to a world that's much bigger and busier than what I'm used to. Before I came to RRMN I was kept in a cramped hutch in a small, smoke-filled apartment. It wasn't the best, but I'm so much happier now that I'm in a space where I can roam, relax, and be myself!
I've never had the chance to meet cats or dogs, so I'm not sure how I would do with them. I may be interested in having a bond mate, though. I'm a gentle soul, and I'd love to have a friend to share my time with, as long as they're patient with me.
So, if you're patient, kind, and ready to give me the time and space I need, I'd love to become your lifelong companion!

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
