Sage

Animal Profile: Sage joined us from rescue partners in California after she and her puppy were found roaming the streets. She is an adorable, 2-year-old old Spaniel/Papillon mix (best guess) and weighs around 15lbs. She has been getting settled into her Seattle area foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. Please Foster Update: Meet Sage! She is sweet girl looking for a special home, so we hope you take a moment to read through her bio and see if that special home might be with you. Sage is a sweet but shy girl who is starting to come out of her shell in foster care. She can be hesitant around new people, but it doesn't take too long for her to bond with her people and begin to show her affectionate side. However, it does take a little patience for her to build that trust with you. She can be cautious, and wants to know you're her trusted people first. Once comfortable, Sage will begin to show off her playful and affectionate size. This includes some good rounds of zoomies! Sage's biggest hurdle has been her confidence. She hadn't quite figured out how to "dog" yet but is learning in foster care. Having other confident dogs around helps, and Sage is seeking a canine companion in her forever home. Having a calm pack has helped her feel more secure on walks. Her foster family has been working diligently to help her build up confidence inside the home too, and she is starting to use the treadmill and learn some basic obedience and tricks. It's very important for Sage to have a calm, confident human who can continue to help her push out of her comfort zone. If left to her own terms, Sage defaults to hiding in the background. With some leadership, Sage is becoming from comfortable and confident and reaching her full potential. Sage is looking for an adult-only home with another calm and confident canine companion. She'd like for her forever humans to commit to being a leader for Sage and continuing to help her grow her confidence. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued by our partners Angels of Rawley. Arriving to Seattle area foster care on 09/15/24. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.

Roja

Animal Profile: Talk about stunning! Roja is a beautiful, 1.5-year-old AKC papered Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail. She was purchased from a breeder by a family that thought they had time for her, but they realized Roja deserved more time and training than they were prepared for. Roja is smart, engaging and confident. She will need a Doberman or working dog savvy adopter. She will do best in an active household with a desire to train and honor her needs as a Doberman. We are not considering first time dog owners for Roja, and though she is dog friendly she should be the only female in the home. Foster notes: coming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, negative heartworm test, health certificate, and microchip with lifetime registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application

Fawn

Hi there, I'm Fawn! My name comes from my soft brown doe eyes, which are probably the first thing you'll notice about me. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I open up. It takes me some time to warm up to new people and places, especially since I'm not used to the hustle and bustle of life outside my hidey box. I'm the kind of bunny who prefers to come out when things are quiet and calm, and I'll skedaddle back to my safe spot if anyone gets too close too quickly. But hey, I'm also a sucker for treats! Offer me something tasty, like banana, cilantro, or some delicious orchard loops, and I'll perk right up. I LOVE free-roam time, and I've been known to sploot in the middle of the room just to stretch out and relax. I'm pretty tidy, too - I'm an excellent litter box user! And I've got a soft spot for chew toys. They're so much fun, and they help me feel safe and comfortable in my space. When I do feel safe, I adore head scritches. Once I trust you, I'll enjoy sitting with you and soaking in the love. I'm easily startled by new noises and I'm still getting used to a world that's much bigger and busier than what I'm used to. Before I came to RRMN I was kept in a cramped hutch in a small, smoke-filled apartment. It wasn't the best, but I'm so much happier now that I'm in a space where I can roam, relax, and be myself! I've never had the chance to meet cats or dogs, so I'm not sure how I would do with them. I may be interested in having a bond mate, though. I'm a gentle soul, and I'd love to have a friend to share my time with, as long as they're patient with me. So, if you're patient, kind, and ready to give me the time and space I need, I'd love to become your lifelong companion! *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Approximate birthdate: 2/13/2016 Approximate weight: 5.07 pounds Gender: Female Adoption fee: $95.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
