A- Donny -I am a Talker! Mom is A Siamese!

Donny is very sweet and loves to talk. He's been living in a home with other cats but we want him to be the only cat so he doesn't have to compete for the attention he deserves. He may seem like an independent fellow until he gets to know you. He wants to be close to you, but not snuggled. And if he has something to say he will trot right up to you and carry-on a conversation. At night, after you get into bed, he my reach his paw out to touch you to let you know that he is there. His fur is very soft like a bunny. If Donny is of interest please email and share about yourself and others in the home as well as other pets. He will be happy in a home without children but other cats would be fine. Donny is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that prepares dogs and cats for forever homes. Angel - GiGi's Daughter

See A Current List of Our Kitties; www:animalnetwork.org We Specialize In Pet-Quality, Friendly, Sociable Cats and Kittens that live in private homes with people that love them.Angel is super playful and loves to do somersaults and is a great lap cat, too. Her coloring is a rich blue gray color with pale orange dappling of Tortoiseshell. Her blue and cream coloring is velvety and soft. Gigi is Angel's mom and the two are best friends and it would be lovely for them to be adopted together. But, they could be adopted separately as well. Angel is not an alpha and can be the cat who is chased by others who are bullies. She will depend greatly on her humans for love. She is a lot of fun and actually is more intelligent than most cats Angel is Gigi's daughter, born in May 2013. A-Gigi

See A Current List of Our Kitties; www:animalnetwork.org We Specialize In Pet-Quality, Friendly, Sociable Cats and Kittens that live in private homes with people that love them.Gigi is a petite and very affectionate classic black and orange Tortoiseshell with an orange half moustache. As you can see Gigi has gorgeous green eyes and has velvety soft fur to touch. GiGi is a snuggler in bed. Her French name means a voluptuous beauty, and she is flirtatiousness. She is all girl! She speaks to you very sweetly, and loves to sprawl in your lap or curl up on you in bed. She purrs loudly and loves to be petted. Gigi is oh so feminine! Her birth date is estimated as September 2012. Angel is on the site as well and is Gigi's mother. They are great friends if someone is looking for a pair. Gigi is sweet and peaceful among our group of cats. She does claim a side of the bed and will defend that territory, but usually she is not an aggressor. She watches from the top of a bookcase or a bureau. She easily coexists with the others. Beamer

Hi, I'm Beamer. Four other kittens and I were rescued by Animal Control and luckily came to the SBACC where we were safe, warm, and well-fed while waiting for our forever homes. I was the smallest of the group and more scared and shy. All the kittens I arrived with have been adopted. I am now all grown up and in a room with the other grown-up cats. I have been having a lot of fun zooming around the room, playing, and spending time with my roommates. I am still nervous around people, and I don't allow pets or being picked up, but I LOVE other cats and can't wait for my very own forever home. I really, really need a home with another kitten or cat. cat

Yael

Hi, I'm Yael. I was rescued from a Seal Beach alley with my three kittens a few years ago. What a relief it was to get off the street into a safe place. I was not used to being around people and I still don't allow people to approach me but I don't hide as much as I used to and no longer run for my life when someone enters my room at SBACC. I enjoy the company of other cats and am comfortable here. I wouldn't mind living out my years where I'm loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Maybe if the right person came along, I could adjust to a new home, but SBACC feels like home.

Louie

Hi, I'm Louie. I arrived at SBACC as a kitten with my two sisters. We were all very scared, but I was the most fearful of all. While my sisters made progress, I decided that I still preferred the company of cats to people. One of my sisters really turned around and found her forever home but my sister, Lambchop, and I are still here at SBACC. While we will sometimes get involved in playing with a toy on a string, we don't welcome pets or being picked up. We're comfortable here and wouldn't mind living out our senior years where we are loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Maybe if the right person came along, we could adjust to a new home, but after all this time at SBACC, it feels like home!

Indiana

Hi, I'm Indiana. I was found in a Seal Beach alley near Main Street when I was about 4 months old. I have no idea what happened to my Mama or litter mates. I am a little shy around people but I do accept pets from certain people! I tolerate my roommates, but would probably do best as an only cat. I hope my family will have a quiet home and will allow me whatever time I need to adjust.

Hi, I'm Lambchop. I arrived at SBACC as a kitten along with my brother and sister. We were all very scared. While we will sometimes get involved in playing with a toy on a string, we don't welcome pets or being picked up. Gretzky

Hi, I'm Gretzky. My brother and I spent our first three months on the streets and when we came to the SBACC, we were very scared and very wild. Everyone was really nice to us and we calmed down, but remained shy and timid cats. My brother became a little more outgoing with time and was adopted a long time ago. I'm a very handsome tabby boy who is still shy, but I now enjoy petting from people I know, and I love to play with the mouse on a wire toy! I need a quiet home with a cat-savvy Mom or Dad who will give me plenty of time to adjust to a new home. Although I live with other cats at the shelter, I think I might be fine as an only cat, as long as I have people to pay attention to me!

Cisco

Hi, I'm Cisco. I came to SBACC in July of 2011 with my brother Poncho when we were about 14 weeks old. We were both very frightened and went into foster care together. My brother was a bit more outgoing than I am and he finally got adopted. I am nervous around people I don't know and usually keep to myself. If I know someone, I may allow petting, especially when it's quiet. I respond to quiet voices and I love treats. I get along fine with the other mellow cats in my room. I'm comfortable here and wouldn't mind living out my senior years where I'm loved and cared for by a wonderful team of volunteers and staff. Maybe if the right person came along, I could adjust to a new home, but after all this time at SBACC, it feels like home! 11/5/24 2:26 PM

Bootsy

Hi! My name is Bootsy. I began my life in a house with so many other kitties no one even knew how many of us there were! It was awful. I was scared all the time. When the nice folks from Voice For The Animals rescued me, it took me a while to feel safe but I'm doing a lot better now. I would love to have my very own home and know I can give my new human lots and lots of kitty love. Batman

My name is Robin. I came to VFTA with Batman. I am a stunning ginger cat with beautiful markings and golden eyes. We grew up in a horrible situation. We lived in a house that was filled to the brink with stuff! (A horder) We hid all the time because there were so many other cats that lived there with us, and we rarely saw the human who lived alongside us. Batman and I depended on each other. We like people, but we are very cautious when we meet new people. I am just starting to learn that people are nice I think, deep down inside, we already know people are good. Even though we're a little scared of people sometimes, we both want to find a nice human to call our own. I hope I can find a forever home soon. Will you give me my forever home? Robin

My name is Batman. I am a big beautiful ginger cat with a cute little meow! I am a very loving kitty, but I grew up in a very scary, crowded, place that belonged to a horder. As a result, I am a bit shy, but I warm up to you as soon as I know you. I have a brother named Robin who looks a lot like me and who grew up in the same situation as I did. Luckily VFTA rescued us both and gave us a nice, clean place to live. Now I love lying in the sun, getting petted on my bum and eating cat treats! I get along great with other cats, but I'm hoping to find a forever home with someone who appreciates a handsome, lovable ginger like me! Would you like to meet me and my brother?
