Georgie Girl

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beauty and attitude, a bit of sass and a switch of the tail as Georgie bounds past you on her way to pounce on a toy or play with a fuzz ball. This girl is full of spunk and love for people. She has been with her foster home for many years, as it will take someone with an understanding of the mindset of a textbook tortoiseshell to appreciate what all she has to offer. For almost two years of her life, Georgie did not get what she needed. She was underfed, underloved, and left craving loving human attention. We don't even think she remembers that time. Wherever she is, she thinks she is the queen. While this can be awesome if she is an only cat, it doesn't always work well with other felines involved. It is definitely on a cat-by-cat basis. Georgie is smart as can be, and demands attention...sometimes at inconvenient times. But she does love her people and she purrs to show it. Currently, she is getting lion cuts to remove the pesky matts that longer-haired cats can get. She thinks she is pretty great when she comes back from getting that done! For someone who would love to have a cat in their life and does not have young children or other cats, Georgie could be a fit. She is a senior, so senior issues will be creeping up. Are you the one to give her a home of her own the last years she has? If you would like to know more about Georgie or are interested in possibly adopting, email us at purrfectmatch13@gmail.com or call 920-234-5995. To potentially adopt, we ask that you fill out a non-binding adoption application on our website: http://purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. Take a look at our available animals there as well. Thank you for choosing to adopt!

Windy

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My given name is Windy, but my foster parents call me "Pooh Bear." I think it comes from "Winnie the Pooh," because "Windy" sounds so much like "Winnie." I really love both names. My brothers and I have weather names. Their names are Stormy and Sunny. We were born at my foster home when my parents were rescued from a man threatening to kill them. We have lived there our whole lives and are looking for homes of our own. My mama taught me well to be wary of anyone trying to trick me. Therefore, I am on alert for someone who is not there just to love me and accept me for who I am. I make a special trilling meow when I talk. It is very feminine and makes my foster mom smile. You can hear me make it at the following site where a video was downloaded. See it at: http://youtu.be/VmW55vKH01w Since I have lived in one home my whole life, it may take me a little while to get used to a new home. If you are trustworthy and love me, however, I will be the best kitty you could ever hope to know. With my intelligence and unique personality, I can be very endearing. If you have specific questions about me, please email Purr-Fect Match at purrfectmatch13@gmail.com or call 920-234-5995. You can also fill out an adoption form with no obligation at http://purrfectmatch.rescuegroups.org/forms. Folks at PFM will use the information to tell if I am a good match for you. For example, I should not go to a home with children. Give me a chance at a home of my own. Thank you for thinking of adopting a rescued pet! 11/5/24 8:26 AM

Cailin

When things quiet down is when you generally get to see me. I enjoy watching the birds or just even daydreaming in the sun. Lounging by myself is no fun so I always make sure to find a couple of other cats to snuggle up for my nap. I love chasing toy mice around the room, especially if no one is looking. I do enjoy getting my head and chin rubbed, there is a special trick and you will have to ask them, then I may even relax and lay down and allow petting on my back. If your cat is looking for a friend, I am ready.

Max

Meet handsome Max. He is 7 years old (Aug. 2023). He is a Blue Heeler/Labrador mix. Max is house-trained. While Max can get along with some dogs, he would be happiest in a home without any other dogs or cats. Max is timid and very shy. He is a very smart boy that picks up on new routines and commands quickly. He is very wary of men and prefers to be around women. He takes a while to warm up but then he will be your best friend. He is very loving and eager to please. He would make a very devoted companion with patience. The adoption fee for Max is $250 which includes the neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. If you would like to meet Max, please call and leave a message with Lisa Shaw at (435) 764-3534 or email us at fourpawsrescueutah@gmail.com . Please be patient with us getting back to you as we are all volunteers with full-time jobs! Thank you for your interest! Fritzi

Hi I'm Fritzi and I'm about 7 years old. One thing you can be sure of: I will never bite you - because I have no teeth! Other than that, I'm a healthy kitty. My dream job would be librarian, because I like quiet places, and I'm a big reader. I'm sorry did I say reader? I meant eater. (Wet food only, you know why.) I keep getting overlooked because it takes me a while to warm up to new people. But give me a little time, and I'll be your new best friend.

Sweety

Hi, I'm Sweety, and I'm about 11 years old. Do you prefer cuddling up by the fireplace to a night out on the town? Me too! It's hard out there for us introverts. I've lived my entire life in the shelter, and I'd really like to get taken home by a nice human. Sure, I'm a little shy, but I have a big heart. In fact, I once adopted a whole litter of orphaned kittens. If you adopt me, and I'll adopt you right back. I am spayed, up to date on shots and negative for FIV/FeLV. 10/31/24 3:20 PM

ANNABELLE "Annie"

Name: Annabelle "Annie" Sex: Female Age: 9.5 years old Breed: Boxer/Pittie Mix Weight: 60lbs Compatibility with other dogs: Good with playful, submissive dogs Compatibility with cats: Not good with cats, will chase Compatibility with kids: Great with kids House trained: Yes Spayed/Neutered: Yes Activity level: Moderate Obedience training: Well trained Personality/Behavior: Crate trained, Likes toys, Lap pet, Playful, Affectionate, Eager to please, Goofy Requirements: Meets the whole family; Active home; No cats in the home; Either no kids or older children in the home; Someone to continue daily valley fever meds and allergy medication MEET ANNABELLE aka Hurricane Annie!!! Sweet ol' Hurricane Annie! She's been with the rescue for 9 years awaiting her forever home. She's only had one meet and greet the entire time (and that didn't go very well given how rambunctious she was when she was younger). Miss Annie has turned a new leaf in her older years. She's sweet, friendly, well trained, dog friendly (as long as the other dog is playful and submissive) and is great with kids. She loves to snuggle in the bed, get "zoomies" but isn't a total hurricane anymore. Now, she's more of like one of those wind tunnels that come out of nowhere quickly with a burst of oomph but then are gone quickly and you're wondering what happened. Annie loves to go on walks and is slowly learning that we don't have to be in a race, but she gets most of her exercise from swimming and running around the yard with her foster family. *Annabelle is being treated for valley fever which includes daily AM/PM medication. She also get's an allergy shot every few months. For more information on valley fever: https://wagwalking.com/condition/valley-fever If you would like to meet Annabelle, please visit our website for our adoption application, www.underdogaz.com or send email to info@underdogaz.com 11/5/24 2:25 AM

Clyde

Meet Clyde! You may remember Clyde's sad story of cruelty and neglect. We were shocked when we saw his pictures and heard how he had literally been strangled with a belt by his so called owner. His strangulation caused a massive deep cut all around his neck and caused the blood not be able to circulate resulting in his face ballooning until he was unrecognizable. He was confiscated from his owner and charges are pending. In the meantime, we brought him into our rescue and have nursed him back to health. We could tell he didn't know what it was like to be treated kindly, but after talking to him a bit and giving him love, he started wagging his tail. He is BEYOND sweet!! Check him out HERE playing with his friends at daycare! We are happy to report that with the help of the vets, we provided pictures and info on the extent of his injuries to the Harris County DA's office. His former owner was prosecuted and justice was done! Clyde is about 4-5 years old and a Cattle Dog mix of sorts. He's friendly and fun-loving but cautious with new people until he knows you mean him no harm. He does great with most other dogs that are medium to large in size. He is high-energy, so he would do best in an active home and with another active dog that can play, and play, and play with him! He's not especially fond of cats, so a home without cats is a must. Clyde is just the sweetest, although he does get his feelings hurts easily when corrected, so he is a quick learner and pleaser. Makes training a piece of cake! Clyde is doing fabulous in his foster home with his 2 canine siblings, but he would really love to find a forever home where he never has to worry again! Contact us at info@scoutshonor.org if you can help! No surprise here in Houston and considering the condition he was in, Clyde is heartworm positive, but don't worry. Scout's Honor is taking care of that for him and if you want to adopt Clyde before he's all clear (which would be great!) we will continue to cover the expense of his medicine and next heartworm check. We can explain it all but he's going to be just fine. Check out Clyde playing with his friends at daycare HERE Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters.
