Fina

Fina was found in a window well along with her 4 sisters . It was thought that the kittens were abandoned, but mom did show up and also went into the foster home. Fina likes playing with a variety of toys, but does not enjoy being held or sit on her persons lap. She is wary of new people and her ideal home would adopt her with one of her sisters or her Mom.

Foster Help Needed

Limbo Chihuahuas - Chihuahua Rescue is a network of foster homes. We do not have a shelter. All animals are fostered in private homes where they receive love, socialization, and training. This enables us to understand their behaviors more clearly and help match them with the appropriate family, so the adoption will be a forever, happy and successful placement. We focus on educating our adopters and the community about spaying and neutering of animals, and why it is so critical for the healthy life of animals, as well as to help reduce the number of animals that are euthanized daily. We specialize in Chihuahuas and Chihuahua Mixes. Check out our website and fill out an application to foster. http://www.limbochihuahuas.org/ photo credit: rchumanesociety.org.

Barn Cats

Barn cats are free. We have many different barn cats available. Barn cats are generally feral/unfriendly. Barn homes MUST be willing to feed cats daily, provide fresh water, and suitable shelter within their barns/outbuildings. They must also agree to follow our 10 day rehoming procedure (supplies will be provided). We are willing to drive these cats anywhere within 2 hours of our facility in order to place them into a quality barn living situation. Please contact our director Gina at crazyforferals@yahoo.com if you can provide 2 or 4 Ferals a barn home.

KAOSS

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MEET KAOSS!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/policy apply. Kaoss is an even-tempered, playful dog. He would make a great pet for a home with no cats and older kids. He's energetic and happy and everyone that sees him comments on how handsome he is. He likes to go on hikes and I take him on daily runs with my bike. He's friendly with everyone we meet and I've never seen him aggressive even with his food or toys. He's big and strong, but he's a big baby. Primrose

Primrose (about 7 years old as of April, 2023) is a female black tuxedo shorthaired cat. Primrose was born to a feral mother cat who had literally been dumping her kittens at one of our caretakers' house for years. They finally caught her but she was about to give birth, so these lucky kittens have been inside their whole lives. Although Prim was the last kitten to decide people were good despite what her wild mama told her she has made a big turn around and is now a super well adjusted and loving little girl. She follows her foster mom around like a lovesick puppy. She likes to quietly bug her people for attention, sitting and staring at them expectantly until they give in and pet her! Primrose purrs over just about anything in the comfort of her foster home and although she doesn't always love being picked up held she loves to cuddle on the couch for hours at time getting petted, getting little kisses on her little muzzle, and returning the affection by chewing on her friend's hair. She chirps with delight when she is really excited about something and loves to play. Prim has done well at adoption events with kids when she was younger but we think in her forever home she'd do better with older children. She gets along great with other cats but her favorite cat in the whole world is her sister Daisy, and after many years they don't do well separated, so we're looking for a family that could open their home to both of them. She hasn't had any dog experience and at her age may not be able to keep an open mind on them.

Bella Blue

Bella Blue - Blue Brindle Pit Bull mix female. Sweet as pie and ready for a belly rub. NO cats please! She is over the top friendly with all people. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FROM OUR WEBSITE: www.hoperescues.org Our adoption fee is $275.00 for all our dogs. This fee includes: Spay/Neuter, microchip, all current vaccinations, and flea/tick treatment. Our dogs are also given monthly heart worm medication in our care. Daisy

Daisy (about 7 years old as of April, 2023) is a female black and white shorthaired cat. Daisy was born to a feral mother cat who had literally been dumping her kittens at one of our caretakers' house for years. They finally caught her but she was about to give birth, so these lucky kittens have been inside their whole lives. Daisy is a very vocal kitty who likes to meow about things as she goes through her day and will sometimes call out to figure out where people are if she wanders off alone expecting someone to call back to her or come find her. That sounds awfully needy but she is actually the most independent kitty from her litter. She is sweet and affectionate but doesn't want to cuddle until she is done playing and doesn't feel the need to be on top of someone smothering them every time she gets a few pets. That said, when she is in full cuddle mode she loves serious, firm pets so strong they pull the skin around her eyes back and exaggerate her already naturally silly long skinny face. She is very energetic and alert which can make her seem jumpy or skittish, but it's really just her goofy, playful nature showing. She does well with older kids and mostly gets along okay with most of the other cats in her foster home, but has had conflicts with a few of them and mostly keeps to herself so she might prefer living with only the one cat she always gets along with- her sister Primrose. We're hoping we can find a family willing to take them both, as the last time we tried to separate them they both were miserable. She hasn't ever lived with a dog and with her more sensitive nature and at her age she would probably be overwhelmed.

Kylo Jace

Kylo is as goofy as they get! He is currently part of our Canine Enrichment Program because Kylo can be people selective. He is very loyal and loving with all his handlers and gets very excited to see his friends. Kylo is not a fan of vet care, but he has been doing very well with being muzzled while receiving vet care. Kylo LOVES car rides, fluffy beds, and tasty snacks! He has long beautiful wavy hair and will smile proudly when he wants to show off his freshly brushed hair. Kylo is part of our RACE (Runner Assisted Canine Exercise) Team and does well both while exercising and being around so many dogs. He will let you dress him up and take his picture. After a long fun day, Kylo will gently lay his head on your lap for affection. Kylo will need a patient and experienced owner who will be understanding of Kylo's special needs and loyal nature. If you are interested in learning more about Kylo or have questions, please contact the SPCA of Anne Arundel County and ask to speak to a member of the Canine Enrichment Team.

Foster/Hospice Homes for Senior Kitties

We are seeking retirement/hospice care homes for elderly cats. The cats will remain under our umbrella and any vet costs and care will be covered by FOF. Their foster/hospice home will provide them a place to call home and get the TLC they need from here on out. We have a constant flow of new cats and kittens, and house an average of 60-75 cats, so these special needs or seniors cannot get the individual care they really need, at our shelter. Again, foster/hospice homes will have no financial obligation. We need you to provide the comforts of home and individual care that we are unable to do at our shelter. We also need you to be willing and able to administer meds (if that becomes necessary) and palliative care such as giving fluids for dehydration. If interested in fostering we encourage you to fill out the following application: http://www.focusonferals.org/volunteer/foster-application/ Our adoption center is located at 7962 CLYDE PARK SW, BYRON CENTER MI 49315. Our shelter is open by appointment only. Applications must be submitted and approved before appointments will be set. All of our cats/kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.

Laker

My name is Laker. I found myself lost, alone and needing help. I found it when I was rescued near the State Highway Patrol building. I was way too young and fragile to be making it on the streets by myself with no back up. Fortunately I don't have to worry about that anymore. I am long and lanky with a long tail to match. I am quiet, friendly and playful. I enjoy being pet and cuddled as well as chasing cat toys and wrestling with my roommates. If your searching for a good looking and good natured addition to your family, I'm it.

Spidey

Spidey was rescued from the parking deck at RDU Airport when he was a kitten. His rescuer fell in love and kept him but, unfortunately, she has had to give him up. Spidey grew into an impressively large, handsome boy with striking markings and a personality to match his size. He's playful and loving with humans and other cats. With his size and enthusiasm, he is likely best with older kids and younger cats. He needs room to run and play and a cat tree to climb. He absolutely loves the 8 ft. cat tree at his foster mom's home! Consider giving this big hunka love the forever home he so deserves!
