Boo

Boo was found on 10/26/2024 at Heatherglen Ct & Territorial Hwy. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.

Precious

adoption donation $650 weight: 45 lbs Age: 2 years Precious lives up to her name. She is a sweet and friendly dog who loves to run and play. Precious recently arrived at her foster home in the northeast and settled in quickly, she adores everyone she meets and her tail never stops wagging. Precious is an active girl who loves to play with other dogs. Precious has such a loving and gentle demeanor, she will make a great family dog. Precious was treated for heartworm last year and is negative now. She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is housebroken. We really aren't sure of her breed, she seems to have some shepherd and maybe some Shibu Inu, when we put her pictures into a Dog Scanner app she comes up with all sorts of breeds most of which we've never heard of! What we do know is that Precious is a really awesome dog! Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter. For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com

Bowser

Meet Bowser! Bowser came to us with his mom Ginger and his 4 siblings. His foster named him Bowser because he is obsessed with his sister Princess Peach and has some extra energy to burn. He is a very loyal puppy who does very well with training as he is super eager to please. One of his cutest quirks is he does about 20 circles in his dog bed before he decides it is comfortable enough to sleep in. He has done very well with potty training and only has the occasional accident when he can't hold it (but he always poops outside so that's a win). He also does pretty well in the crate (he typically will cry for up to 5 minutes and then is quiet) but he sleeps through the night and typically wakes up around 8 and spends lots of time lounging in the crate as it's become his safe space. We think Bowser would be the perfect addition for an active family that may have another dog friend. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Princess Peach

Meet Princess Peach! She is Bowser's sister, and is from a litter of 5! Her fosters say she is the slightly more chill puppy of the two. This girl loves her beauty sleep and does so well in the crate as she usually falls right asleep and rarely cries. She will stare at you with the biggest puppy dog eyes that say "I love you" and will definitely make for an amazing best friend. She has been doing well with potty training but still has the occasional accident and does amazing in a heel on the leash as she is super food motivated. She must have some retriever mixed in her as she loves bouncing over to the ball when it's thrown and will definitely be obsessed with fetch in the future. I have a feeling she would also make for a great running buddy as she is very attentive and keeps pace on the leash.
