CeeCee A0055623795 IN FOSTER

CeeCee (formerly Jaycee) is a true love bug and gets along with the dogs and the cats in her foster home. She truly loves the kids the most though, even the neighbor kids; though she can be a little mouthy when overstimulated and therefore may do best with older children and someone working with her to learn to nibble on her toys and not her friends! She has a fair amount of energy, more than expected for a 7 year old dog, but she does well if she can go for walks or play outside, with toys or kids, and she would probably love a doggie sibling who shares her play level. She knows commands like sit, stay, shake, down, off, and she’s working on go nighty. She's a true gem of a dog CeeCee is current on shots, licensed, and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. If you have questions about an animal please have their name and ID number ready and contact shelter staff by: (1) visiting Animal Friends during our open hours, (2) calling 513-867-5727, or (3) emailing AnimalServices@bcohio.gov. WE HAVE MORE PETS IN THE SHELTER THAT ARE NOT ON PETFINDER. For our most up to date list of adoptable animals and access to our adoption application please visit: https://www.animalfriendshs.org/adopt/ Dog Adoption Fees: Puppies – 4 months and under: $200 Adult Dogs – 5 months and over: $95 Senior Dogs (7+ years old): $50 Breed listings: Please note that Animal Friends recognizes current research showing that the large majority of breed guesses on shelter dogs are inaccurate and that only a small percentage of an animal’s genetics makes up their physical appearance. People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as “Mixed Breeds” unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in. We feel that the best matches are made based on a dog’s individual personality and recommend families come meet our animals in person and/or utilize our Foster to Adopt program to see if that dog is a good fit for their home. Gavin JuM

Gavin is my "given" name... but my foster mom calls me Gavin-PATTY... I mean.. do I LOOK LIKE A PATTY???? I am a BOY puppy! I do NOT identify as PATTY! OK, now that you know my foster mom is kind of mean to me, you will likely want to ADOPT ME and get me away from the pronoun confused foster mom! I mean, she has a MASTERS degree, but cannot get my NAME right?? Who voted her onto the island anyway?? I DEMAND A RECOUNT! I am a fantastic pup, delivered to the rescue by a kid going into the "Marines" and she couldn't KEEP me.... i say, NO MARINE DOES THAT! Ok, enough of my indignency! I am a beautiful boy who has a lifetime to live with real pawrents and real sisters and brothers! When i came to the rescue, even though I have distinctive St Bernard kind of markings and face... I was small... but I will tell you... ONE THING the foster "mom" got right is the VITTLES! Cause I am growing like a literal weed! My feet are growing exponentially too. However, I am likely a St Bernard mixed with a smaller kind of dog because I am not NEARLY St Bernard size as a puppy so expect me maybe to hang out well under 100#. But my personality and LOVE know NO SIZE. I am a great pup, I have a silly habit of pretending to bite a finger to get your love and attention. I would be best in a home with another pup or dog to grow up with, I am a social social boy! Look at my video.. I run like the wind! And Piglet, Mika and I have a blast together! I am waiting for you to fill out the application!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Martina the Merriest Girl

This cutie is Martina. She is currently 4 pounds, 6 weeks old, and we think they may be a German Shepherd mix, but with rescue its a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. Martina is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Martina is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. TACO

Taco is a purebred Shih tzu. He is a very special guy and easy to have around.. I really like this dog. He is 10 yrs old and 12 lbs. i think someone gave him to a woman and she dumped him in the shelter. How awful for him. He is still settling in and i'm sure doesn't know why he is here. I would never name a Shih taco but since he has that name so long we left it. He is ok with other dogs but doesn't play or bother them . Taco is housetrained and sleeps in a crate door open. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Taco is very sweet. He does have dry eye but a few drops of Refresh and he is fine. I want him to have a great home where he is loved and cared for so he knows we value him/ email for an APPLICATION, once approved come to meet him/ we do a foster to adopt period. so you can be sure. He needs a fence yard so he can roam around and enjoy outside.. no apts or electric fences. sorry Mdcctennis@aol.com

Nicky(4)

Hey there! I’m Nicky(4), a 9-month-old girl with short brown fur with a bit of black and white. I’m a big pup, weighing about 19.8 kg. I grew up on a ranch with my 10 siblings, but things got rough when some neighbors started mistreating us. It was really scary, and some of my siblings even got poisoned. I’ve been spayed, and thanks to an adoption program, I got dewormed and vaccinated so I could find a loving home. I split my time between being outside and inside the house, and I’m used to living with other dogs and some kids. I’m pretty independent and social, so I love making new friends!

Holly

Our next transport date will be Friday/Saturday, November 8th/9th and November 15/16th. Please see below for pick-up locations. We cannot do meet and greets with the puppies. The transport trip is hard and long and it's too long for a puppy to be in a vehicle if he had to return to Texas. We do not take deposits. All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up. Round two of the same puppies! We never have DNA on our puppies, but this is an unusual case. At the beginning of the year, we were given a litter of puppies by a woman who said she rescued the mother from a puppy mill. This DNA is from one of those puppies. We spayed that momma dog, but she also had a sibling of the momma that was not spayed. We offered and she assured us that she would get it done. She didn't. These puppies belong to that second dog. We can't guarantee this is the exact DNA but we are pretty certain that it will be. We have 7 puppies here: 5 boys and 2 girls. They are so cute you can't put them down and that's exactly what they want, just to be held and snuggled. They love playing with each other and they love playing with their little squeaky toys but there is nothing they like better than being picked up and held. They are going to be so much fun to dress and carry around I wish I could keep one myself. I have included the DNA from the previous litter and a picture of their mother in the pictures. This time we will make sure that her dog is spayed. If you are interested in one of our dogs, please do not delay completing the application. There is always a high interest in our puppies, and applications are processed for approvals as they are received when at all possible. Using the link or copying and pasting the link is the quickest way to get the application to us. https://form.jotform.com/222705071398154 The total adoption fee $600 includes transport to designated locations: Collinsville, Springfield, Bloomington, Ogelsby, and Roscoe, IL. Sun Prairie, and Fon Du Lac, WI. *St Louis area adopters would meet us in Collinsville, IL (this pick-up will be Friday evening). Springfield, Bloomington, and Oglesby pick-ups are also Friday evening. **Green Bay and Sheboygan adopters will meet us in Fon Du Lac. ***Joliet and Davenport area adopters will meet us in Ogelsby or Roscoe, IL. ****MILWAUKEE _ We don’t have a Milwaukee stop this time but do have 2 stops in WI and will be stopping in Roscoe, IL. Most of our puppies will travel with two rounds of vaccines and sometimes three. Occasionally we will not have had them long enough for the second round. You will receive vaccination records for your puppy prior to transport. Our puppies less than 6-8 months old will not be spayed or neutered, and the cost of out-of-state surgery is not included in our adoption fees. Spaying and neutering is an adoption contract requirement that it will be done by the puppy's first birthday. This will be at the expense of the adopter. Atlanta Texas Area Spay Neuter Project is a 501c3; proceeds go back to spaying and neutering dogs for low-income families in the Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana area and the care of puppies and dogs that we take in. If needed, we assist low-income families with emergency vet expenses for their current pets. All our dogs will be in foster care in Texas until they are adopted. We cannot guarantee breed. We do our best based on the appearance of the pup and the mother if she is known to us. We rarely know the father of the puppies and litters of puppies can have more than one father. In other words, the litter can be full of half siblings with different fathers for the puppies. Visit our Facebook page: Atlanta Texas Area Spay/Neuter Project

Mistew lost his home when his humans developed allergies. He is a quiet guy whose favorite activities are sunbathing and snuggling with people. He is not comfortable with other cats, so sadly, he has had to stay in a cage at his shelter. He would love to find a home with no other pets OR where he has an opportunity to remain by himself away from other animals. Mistew is a healthy 17 year old guy.....he's not on any meds, and a vet has checked out a lump on his back & says it's nothing to worry about. Ember

Ember, her brother and mom were discarded in a remote area. Thankfully, some people saw their eyes in the dark and hence the traps were set. Ember is more outgoing than her brother Finn and will purr when cuddling at your neck. She's a beautiful girl with long hair that will require regular grooming. Her and her brother Finn are very close and it would be great if they could be placed together. Small children will be too much for her and scare her. A quiet dog who is not overly excitable and respectful of kittens may be ok. Ember is apx 7 weeks (as of 11/4/24), current on age appropriate vaccinations, de wormed, scheduled to be spayed, microchipped. If adopted prior to spay she will be adopted on a foster to adopt contract until she is spayed.
