Beautiful Betty Boop is a sweet Pittie lady with so much love to share! This resilient girl has clearly been through so much in her young life. She seems to have had a few litters of puppies already, and was skin and bones when she entered the shelter. She also came in with an injury to a front foot. She is able to use this foot, but intermittently keeps weight off it. Betty Boop is doing so well in her foster home, and absolutely adores attention. She will flip on her back for total strangers to give her a belly rub. She also LOVES to nap and snuggle with whichever humans are nearby.
Betty Boop gets along great with other dogs. Big dogs, small dogs, all dogs are friends! She's also incredibly respectful of other dog's boundaries and has done well when corrected by other pups for being a bit too exuberant.
This sweet girl joins us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray.

Life with Jet Puffed is never dull, and he has a knack for turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. This sweet little guy gets along great with other pups but people are his favorite.
Jet Puffed joins us from the Sacramento County Bradshaw shelter after his senior guardian's health declined and was unable to provide the care he needs.

Winter is our beautiful deaf senior girl looking for a forever home! She was surrendered due to a family member developing an allergy to dogs. Winter is around 9 years old and about 37 lbs. She has been deaf since birth and does know some hand signals for sit, lay down, and no. She will need a family who is willing to learn to communicate with her and teach her your expectations using hand signals and consistency. Winter loves treats and knows to sit before she gets a treat. She is house and kennel trained, and gets along with everyone! Winter is up to date on all shots and preventative, and spayed. She tested positive for heart worms, but she has started on the slow kill treatment. Winter would love a home before the holidays. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.

About us - Small Town Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization that fosters felines out of rescuer own homes. We hope to open our own cat sanctuary within the next few years. We assist with local cat colonies and practice TNR as well as intake friendly strays to foster homes who are then socialized and provided medical care so they are set up for successful adoptions.
What you need to know -
* All cats and kittens come fixed, vaxxed, dewormed, deflead (paperwork included). Not every kitten pictured is of weight to get fixed, there may be a few week waiting period. Rabies cannot be done until cat is 12 weeks old. If kitten is adopted prior to 12 weeks you are responsible for rabies. Indoor/outdoor or strictly outdoor cats do not leave until rabies is administered.
* 1 kitty is $60 or 2 for $100- this fee goes directly back to the organizations who assist me in spay/neuters.
* I always recommend kittens in pairs- Google is a great resource for information regarding why pairs are a good practice.
* Keep in mind these cats are a lifetime commitment. Make sure you are financially, physically, and stable enough to adopt one.
* We work on finding the BEST homes for each kitty. It is not first come first serve.
* Ages are estimated
