Meet Keelin! This sweet girl is so smart and is already learning so much for still being a puppy! Keelin is a very special puppy with some cute quirks! She has a small deformity to her nose (which is extremely cute). She also has some quirks in her legs that make them turn a bit outward, she may develop arthritis at an earlier age due to this. Unfortunately this cutie was diagnosed with heartworm on top of everything else. In good news, our veterinarians are working on treatment and she is taking it like a champ! She will need continued care with our veterinarians and will eventually need to be on strict exercise restriction for a few weeks for her treatment to work. She may be tiny but she is very mighty! Lizzie was previously in a foster home. This is what her foster Mom said about her: Lizzie was found as an older stray with a mouth injury. She came to stay with us right out of surgery. She was terrified of everything. The one thing she took comfort in was other cats. Lizzie immediately bonded with my other adult cat and once she was healthy enough, with another foster named Yeti. Lizzie is very attached to all the cats in my house and is even comfortable with both the big and small dog and the kids. She is a VERY special girl!
