ABOUT BULLY
Bully is a 1-year-old big brindle boy who loves to be around people! He came to HAP with his brother when his family lost their home and was no longer able to care for them. Bully is the definition of a velcro dog, who just wants to follow you everywhere you go. He loves attention and tries his best to be the goodest boy. He loves his toys, treats, playing with other dogs, and belly rubs. He constantly has a big goofy grin on his face and is such a big klutz that he is sure to keep you smiling as well! Bully has participated in our Doggy Day Out program, where shelter pups get a break from the shelter. Here's what our volunteers had to say about their day with him:
"Today I had the honor of taking out Bully!! We went to the reservoir and he sniffed everything and rolled around in the grass! He wanted to say hello to every person that walked by! We went home and he was so proud of his toy and wanted to show it off! We went on a few walks around Main Street and he again was so excited to meet everyone he saw and did a lot of sniffing! He is a super special boy and I'm so happy I got to spend the day with him." - Macky
"I took Bully to get a pup cup, then he helped me with my homework, gave me lots of kisses and snuggles while doing it! I learned that he LOOOOOVES squeaky toys! Also he lovesss fluffy things as they grab his attention!! He made my first DDO amazing and makes me want to have more days with him and his dog friends!!! Bully is VERYYYY quiet, he didn't bark a single time I was with him! While he is energetic and loves to jump and give hugs, they are gentle hugs! Very sweet dog and such a gentle giant!! - Jamie
