Hi there! My name is Felina (but I go by Finley or Finn). I am a sweet, loving, 4 year old girl. I love people and will shower you with kisses if you let me. Anytime anyone comes into the room, I get up and go see them with my tail wagging like crazy. I was adopted when I was one to a great mommy! But, she has health problems and had to bring me back to my foster mommy. I am so confused, but I am happy to be back with someone I remember. I love to ride in the car and go for walks too! My foster mommy says I need a little training on a leash and my recall, but I am fully house and crate trained! The bell hanging by the door helps me a lot. My favorite thing is to be outside, so a fenced in yard would be great! Sometimes I am too much for other pups, so it might be best for me to be in a home as the only dog. I am not very good at sharing my toys, but I am working on it. About us - Small Town Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non profit organization that fosters felines out of rescuer own homes. We hope to open our own cat sanctuary within the next few years. We assist with local cat colonies and practice TNR as well as intake friendly strays to foster homes who are then socialized and provided medical care so they are set up for successful adoptions. What you need to know - * All cats and kittens come fixed, vaxxed, dewormed, deflead (paperwork included). Not every kitten pictured is of weight to get fixed, there may be a few week waiting period. Rabies cannot be done until cat is 12 weeks old. If kitten is adopted prior to 12 weeks you are responsible for rabies. Indoor/outdoor or strictly outdoor cats do not leave until rabies is administered. * 1 kitty is $60 or 2 for $100- this fee goes directly back to the organizations who assist me in spay/neuters. * I always recommend kittens in pairs- Google is a great resource for information regarding why pairs are a good practice. * Keep in mind these cats are a lifetime commitment. Mystique is a beautiful 6-week old female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on July 30, 2024 along with her mother (Jean Grey) and her four siblings (Rogue, Sabertooth, Xavier, and Wolverine). Their sweet mother kitty was raising her babies in a family's garage after she befriended a Good Samaritan who allowed them to remain there after she gave birth. Thank goodness Jean Grey was in a safe place and not outdoors. Mystique has a shiny black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers. Mystique was given Pyrantel wormer on July 31, 2024. She was given vaccinations on October 20, 2024 and booster vaccines on November 1, 2024. Since Mystique and her siblings were fully weaned, they were separated from their mother in late September 2024 and momma Jean Grey was moved to The Jungle Room (our main cat room where adoptable cats are housed). These 'big girl' photos of Mystique were taken on October 14, 2024 when she and her siblings enjoyed some out-of-cage time in our 'studio'. Mystique was fascinated with the fake fall foliage but what she loves most of all was a tiny plush stuffed 'lambchop' toy. Mystique was spayed on October 22, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 3.3 lbs that day. Much to their delight, Mystique and her siblings are currently sharing a large cat tower in our lobby and are also ready to find homes of their very own. Sadly, their smallest little brother (Wolverine) did not survive and passed away on September 3, 2024.
