Remi is a playful and very affectionate boy. He has a loud purr and a raspy voice. He is always at your feet or wanting to climb on your chest for a snuggle. He also loves to suckle on his bed or a blanket. He loves to play with all kinds of toys. He is great with young kids and other cats. Dogs unknown. He would make a great addition into someones home! All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need. Meet Cecilia!
This gorgeous girl adores cuddling with all she meets! Highly talkative and very curious, Cecilia wants to be involved in absolutely everything. She hates being cooped up, so homes with plenty of space for her to roam and play would be amazing. Families with younger animal lovers would pair nicely with Cecilia as she has boundless energy and adores interacting with people.
During her brief time in-shelter, she was wholly unbothered by the presence of other cats and kittens (she was MUCH more interested in their toys!). We aren't certain if she'd get along with dogs, though given her outgoing nature, that's certainly a possibility if introduced slowly.

Keep your new family member safe and consider investing in a catio or "cat-proofing" your balcony/deck. Leash-training, or letting your cat tag along in a pet backpack, are other safe options. Alternatively, you can bring the outside in with strategically placed bird-feeders and pollinator plants!

The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting!
Some animals may not be available for public viewing due to limited shelter space, medical and behavioral reasons, or other contributing factors. Kittens are not available for viewing as they are often in foster homes for health & safety reasons.
Due to the high number of applications, we will ONLY be contacting select individuals to further review their interest. While we do our best to let applicants know whether they've been selected or not, the center is extremely busy! If you do not hear back within a week, it's likely the animal has already found a forever home. Phone inquires regarding the status of your application cannot always be prioritized.

I am currently seeking a new outdoor home. I am not socialized with people and prefer my life style to only include the companionship of other animals.

What they need:
- Shelter indoors such as: a barn, shed, garage, or warehouse
- Food (They will catch rodents but they also need to be fed regularly)
