Gentle, lovable Bailey is looking for a new home filled with energy, love, and play. I am a four-year old spayed female German shepherd. I absolutely love to go for walks and hikes, not to mention adventures of any kind. I am a go-getter. I want to be everybody's friend, but you will be my exclusive love. I may not have learned how to play fetch or tug of war, but that doesn't mean I don't play. I enjoy getting squeeks out of my squeky toys. If you them around, I am happy to play.
I know I am not perfect, and I have a few things to work on. I can tug on the leash, but when reminded or redirected, I listen. I am also learning about other dogs. Since I am lacking socialization with others, I am slowly being introduced to other dogs, and I am learning to respect their boundaries. With proper and slow introductions, I am learning to be friends. However, I do love cats. I currently live with a couple of cats, but sometimes my size freaks them out when I play with them.
To begin with a fenced yard would be great, but I am a shepherd and I want to stay with you. I want those couch cuddles and pets and treats and belly scratches. Well, you know. I am a dog!

He is a friendly playful boy who has been well behaved for staff. He is smart, knows sit, and is treat motivated. OAHS is able to accommodate same day adoptions. The adoptions are based on a first-come basis providing it is a good match for everyone involved.
The first step in the adoption process is to complete our adoption questionnaire to ensure we can help find the right fit for you. An adoption interview is required prior to adoption. An Adoption Counselor will ask about your residence, family members and pet experience. The Adoption Counselor will also address any concerns and answer any questions that you may have about adding a new pet to your family.

Named after a character from Black Ops Zombies, Misty is quite the gal! Misty has been around dogs and doesn’t mind them much. She is actually interested in them. She is very energetic, so we recommend lots of toys and at least one cat tower for her. She the runt of the litter but she comes with a punch. Misty is full of life and excitement. We believe she may be mixed with an Abyssinian, but we are not sure (specific cat breed).

We go in order of the names on the list to give people the chance to adopt.
The best way to get first pick at adopting is by arriving early to wait for the list to be put out. You do not need to add the name of the pet(s) you are interested in adopting.

I will email you over the application/contract that will need to be printed, filled out and brought with you to the adoption event.
We will only keep your application/contract if you meet the perfect furbaby and decide to adopt!
By receiving the contract/ application it does NOT guarantee an adoption nor place any pet on hold for you.
I will also provide, through text, a lot of information on how to care for our rescue pets, what they eat, health guarantee information etc.
That way, if you do find that perfect new family member, you will be fully prepared.
We do NOT have a physical location where the pets can be visited as we are an all foster based rescue.

Please understand our rescues are pulled from animal controls and may have 7 plus breed mixes in them. We cannot guarantee all the mixes and we aren't given that information.
All pets are exposed to other pets and children.

All pets come with a minimum of 2 sets of puppy vaccines, flea, heartworm prevention, 2 de wormings and NEUTER.
All of our pets have been started with crate training.
