Hola, amigos! My name is Quesadilla, and just like my name, I'm a little bit cheesy, a little bit spicy, and full of personality - wrapped up in one petite, 6.2-pound package!
Now, I'll be honest with you: life hasn't been a smooth ride for this little Chihuahua. I ended up in a shelter as a stray, and let me tell ya, that shelter business is not my scene. All these new faces, strange sounds, and big dogs... it's a lot for a gal like me. I may seem a little snarky at first, but that's just my way of saying, "Give me a sec to size you up! I promise it's all bark and no bite - just my sassy way of keeping my cool until I know I can trust you.
Once I feel safe, though? Oh, I'm a total sweetheart! My favorite thing in the whole world is being held. There's just nothing like feeling those gentle arms around me - it's like a cozy tortilla wrapping me up tight! I melt into a puddle of love and will gaze up at you with my big puppy eyes, letting you know you're my safe place. I might even throw in a little happy Chihuahua smile if you're lucky.
When I'm not snuggled up in your arms, you'll find me in a sunbeam, soaking up all that warmth like the little sun-worshipper I am. Sunbathing is my jam - just me, a quiet spot, and that glorious sunshine. Simple pleasures are all I need, and I keep my kennel nice and tidy, too - I'm a classy lady, after all.

Hi there, I'm Lucy, your friendly, gentle Beagle looking for a cozy spot to call home. I'm a petite little gal, just 20 pounds of sweetness, with a soft tricolor coat and the heart of an angel. I'm about 7 years young, which means I'm past those hyper puppy days and ready to settle in for all the calm, lazy snuggle sessions you could ask for!
You might notice a few scrapes on my face-let's just say the road wasn't too kind to me while I was out on my own. But don't worry, I'm healing up nicely, and I've been making up for lost sleep ever since I arrived here! My days have been filled with long naps and gentle tail wags, and I'm savoring every moment of the peace and quiet.
I shared my kennel with my pal Walter, another Beagle mix, and we got along just fine! I'm good with other dogs, especially if they're laid-back and happy to share a space with me. My rescuers say I have the sweetest, most tender spirit, and I'm sure you'll see that shine through in no time.

Meet Cassian, a playful young cat looking for his forever home! Cassian is the adventurous spirit, always ready to explore and make new friends. He loves having a nice warm lap where he can spend hours curled up in comfort. Cassian is a very loving boy with a big heart! We don't know much about his history but he did come in with another cat around the same age and would likely do well with a feline friend after a slow and careful introduction.
Cassian is still currently healing from a leg wound sustained during their time as strays. He is also waiting for neuter before they will be bale to go to their fur-ever home.

Meet Precious, a delightful cat who's ready to find her forever home! With her soft, fluffy fur and enchanting green eyes, she's the embodiment of sweetness. Precious has a gentle demeanor and loves to cuddle up in cozy spots, making her the perfect companion for quiet evenings. She enjoys playful moments with her toys and has a curious nature that keeps her exploring her surroundings. We don't know much about her history. She came to us as a heavily pregnant stray. Her babies have all found loving home and now it's her turn! Precious was an attentive and protective mom to her babies and she would likely do well with a kitten in the home but we don't know how she is around other adult cats or dogs. Older children who are cat savy would likely be fine for her.

Sumo is a big, handsome tabby who came to the SPCA as a stray and is now looking for his fur-ever home. He is a fairly friendly and outgoing guy who may be a bit nervous at first but once he's comfortable he will be rolling around asking for attention and sharing his loud, rumbling purrs. He enjoys having cozy nooks to hide and nap in but will come out and explore once his curiosity is peaked. He would do best in a home without young children as he can get a bit nervous if he's rushed. We're not sure how he would do with other animals so testing and slow, proper introductions would be very important. Sumo would make a great addition to a home that is a match for his big personality. Could he be the tabby for you?
