Peluche has been a loving and good dog while with us however he was involved in a unsupervised biting of a toddler in the face who reached for his face causing damage requiring stitches. With that said we will not be placing him in a home with young children/toddlers. We would prefer an adult only home. He is around 18 lb

Jefferson was brought into the shelter after he was following a woman to and from work every day. He was on the streets for a long time and is now getting used to the life inside. Spot is just the sweetest big boy in the world. He loves to relax and play. He's such a wonderful cat! He would make anyone smile. Please consider Spot and give him a chance. Spot, along with his friend, Greer, were found by a Good Samaritan on the streets of Upland. The Good Samaritan asked HOPE for help. We took in Spot and Greer. When we tested Spot he came up FIV+ but his friend and companion, Greer, came up negative. So even though Spot tested positive for FIV and was with a companion cat for quite a while, Greer did not test positive. It has been noted that FIV+ cats (if Spot truly is positive) can live together harmoniously with non FIV+ cats. Spot is a big cute love bug once he feels safe. We'd love to find him the best home there is. NOTE: Through the end of April and into early May, following the current stay-at-home guidelines, we are on furlough from hosting adoptions at our local UPLAND PetSmart. Cherokee does have severe food aggression so, that is something he is trying his best to overcome. Noah's Arks Rescue is all about giving an Abused Animal a second chance at life and to experience what true love is. Originally we thought he may be a Coonhound - Boxer mix however Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue believes he is a Rhodesian mix. Possibly he is mixed with Coonhound and/or Boxer. Rajah is Crate Trained. Kellen Rescue requires fenced yards and has adopted to neighboring States but not since COVID, though will consider neighboring States for some dogs. Our dogs are in foster homes and available to meet by appointment.

NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Talullah came to Save the Dalmatians as an 8 week old puppy in August 2017. In addition to being deaf, it was found that she had 2 serious heart conditions and we initially did not think she would survive. However over time she continued to grow and act like any other dog. We brought her to a cardiologist where it was found that the two heart conditions are actually what is keeping her alive. One counter acts the other. Tallulah is part of our Forever Foster Program for dogs that are not likely to be adopted. We find wonderful foster homes willing to foster for the life of the dog while we provide financial support for medical/veterinary needs. These are wonderful dogs who through no fault of there own are unable to find permanent homes in a timely manner; usually due to age, medical and/or special needs. Twice a year she sees the cardiologist for a check up and evaluation of her prescription medicines. Talullah is being permanently fostered by one of our 2 time adopters, who has deaf dalmatian experience.
