She is initially wary of people she meets and must be allowed time to get to know people to ensure they are worthy of her trust. Once she knows and trusts you she is a great snuggler and always by your side! She also loves to wear her cute sweaters in the colder weather! She is a very intelligent girl and highly food motivated, so she learns quickly. She knows many obedience commands and actually knows the fire safety drill of stop, drop and roll which speaks to what a smarty pants she is! Coffee struggles with confidence and therefore she needs a person with dog experience who will be dedicated to continuing her training and who will provide her with rules and boundaries using force free methods. Coffee has been living and working with a trainer and has made much progress with her confidence during this time. Her ideal home would be with a person or couple who have a calm environment where she is not left unattended for more than 5-6 hours a day. Although she does love children, a home without children would be preferred. She requires someone who will commit to ensuring she receives appropriate mental stimulation and physical exercise with several walks per day. She does not need another dog in the home but could live with another dog as long as they are balanced, social and exude a calm energy that has proven to help Coffee blossom. Any potential adopter would be required to meet Coffee a minimum of three times to allow her to become familiar with you. Any potential adopter must also continue virtual training with the trainer to ensure Coffees continued progress and a successful adoption.

Biggie was dumped in Rancho Cordova. We are guessing, based off what a vet as it, that he is about 1 yr old. Biggie is the dad of 8 of our babies we have in our system. Biggie and Gurgy, one of our other bunnies, are the parents. And Biggie is a lot more social than Gurgy. Almost like he was a dumped pet. He is now neutered and ready to find his forever home. He is bonded to Gurgy so they need to be adopted together.

She also prefers to live outside in a pool enclosure or screened in patio. If you are looking for a friend for your cat then Punky is the cat for you! Rebels Rescue has had Punky most of her life. We got her from Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center in February 2015, She was just a year old and owner surrendered. She was timid and shy so overlooked at adoption events. Friends to the Forlorn Adopt-a-BullBreed: Pit Bull Gender: Female Estimated Date of Birth: February 28, 2016 Size: 45 lbs Location: Dallas, GA RESCUING RUBIA Rubia came into Fulton County as a very pregnant stray. She gave birth the very next day to 10 puppies and to make matters worse, she was extremely protective of the pups. Unfortunately, between Rubia's terrible condition, the lack of milk production, and the shelter environment, 8 of the 10 pups passed away. Rubia then lashed out and bit a kennel worker that was cleaning her run. Rubia and her 2 remaining pups were extremely sick and we were lucky enough to have a foster step up for their tiny family. After being seen by our vet, we had to pull the surviving pups from Rubia in order to bottle feed them as there was no way they would have survived if we didn't. Rubia has an advanced case of heartworm disease and her chest was filled with fluid. It will be a long road to recovery for Rubia and her babies. Sadly, neither of Rubia's two remaining pups pulled through. ABOUT RUBIA Rubia is happy to be out of the county shelter and is still a little skeptical of new people, but she is not lashing out at anyone. Now that she is away from her pups and she is having good human experiences, Rubia is actually quite happy and accepting of new people. She is full of tail wags and love. The fluid swelling up in her chest has gone down completely and Rubia's true personality is coming out even more. Rubia is cautious with strangers, but quickly learns to trust. She is in heart failure, but her heartworms have been treated and she is doing extremely well. Dogs can lives for years with bad hearts and she's on medication to help. Rubia is crate trained and housebroken (she's never had an accident). She's a happy girl and is very loving and grateful to be out of the pound. She's an expert at dramatically throwing herself on the floor for belly rubs! She appears to be good with other dogs and kisses the dogs through their crates. Rubia needs a foster or an adopter to complete her rescue journey. I wasn't treated very well in my home and was removed to come here for a better life. Once here, I settled right in and became the 'boss kitty'. I'm the head guy around here and everyone knows it. I don't shy away from any other animal- I bully the cats and small dogs and my attitude could get me into trouble with the bigger dogs. I'm definitely not good with animals, but my people skills are awesome. I'll follow you everywhere you go (yes, I'm that nosey), and love attention- but I'm also great by myself. Before we can discuss a specific bird with you, we ask that you follow our adoption process. Danish is one of a group of cats that came from an 'over population' after their caretaker passed away. She is a little shy until she gets to know you, then she's all rolling back & forth & sweetness. She's very petite, the size of a teen. She does have IBS, that requires daily medication and routine vet visits. Mitzy is a terrier mix. Terriers can have a high prey drive, which means that rabbits and squirrels are probably not going to do well in their company. It doesn't make the dog a bad dog; it makes the dog a terrier doing what they do. So, more about Mitzy...... Introducing our adorable girl, Mitzy. She's a 3 year old wirehaired terrier mix with personality plus. She's curious, a little shy but super eager to please, especially with a yummy treat involved in the bargain. She posed for pictures like a pro and don't you just love that crazy head tilt? Mitzy has tested heartworm positive but don't let that be a deterrent when considering adopting. Matthew was one of ten bunnies dumped in a picnic cooler at a store near Wesat Valley Animal Shelter. Many of the bunnies were sick with pasteurella, and poor Matthew was one of them. BWF rescued all ten bunnies and got them the proper medical treatment, and they are now being cared for by fosters. We were rescued from an industrial plant in East Chicago. I have been neutered, vaccinated, FELV/FIV tested (negative to both) and microchipped. I am full of spunk and energy, but I am not a troublemaker! I was named after the board game Trouble. I love playing with ping pong balls and toy springs. The other foster kittens and I could play with them all day long! I like to climb too and enjoy hanging out on the cat tree.
