Luna is 3 years old. She was left at the shelter with the following info: She lost the use of her hindlegs after giving birth. She does get around dragging her hind legs fairly well. She is learning to use a wheelchair and drag bag (pictured). Luna is good with men, women, kids, cats and other dogs. She currently weighs 19 pounds. Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.
Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 6/28/24).

This is Marina, affectionately referred to as mama! Marina delivered her six tiny kittens in a fishing boat.
She is affectionate and warm and is an excellent mother. Sadly there’s not much to her story. We’re not sure her age but are certain her first years of life have been challenging.
She’s friendly and loves a good snuggle. We’ve had to work hard to have her learn how to play and put herself over the needs of her kittens as so far her life has only been about caring for others.
Marina is ready to be #1 and deserves a home that will appreciate her gentle soul. She’s quite chatty and chirps a lot to let you know she is close by, in search of a belly scratch and some snuggles. She purrs on eye contact and because her start to life has been less than ideal, she appreciates any attention given to the fullest. She’s loyal and does well with kids.
It’s time Marina finally found someone to take care of her!!

Say CHEESE! Gouda (orange tabby) , Brie (flame pointe Siamese mix), Nacho (orange tabby white paws) and Muenster (orange tabby with white on face) are an adorable litter of brothers that were found abandoned in a house after people moved. They could not locate their mother.
They were surrendered to a local animal hospital. They were transferred to organization where they stayed in a loving foster home until they were ready for you. They were super well adjusted and so playful. You are just going to love them!
