Meow! My name is Indicus! My birthday is 8/1/2023. I am a very friendly DSH solid black kitty with a few stray white hairs that remind my foster family of star spots in beautiful coat. I am very shy around new people, but once I get to know you, I will demand pets and snuggles from you all the time! I love to play with anything that I can chase (balls, feather toys, wand toys with worms, and the stray moth that gets in the house). I am such a social kitty, I will even follow you around and chat with you if I am not snoozing in your lap or a warm and sunny spot. In addition to being an amazing kitty, I am also a FIP survivor. As of June 25th, I am officially FIP free. There are no long term effects anticipated from the FIP, just a fun furless spot on my chest where the doctor had to shave my fur to get my final blood draw. This will fade with time. Although I do snack on Royal Canin Kitten, my main source of food is Wild Blue Tastefuls and Fancy Feast Grilled wet food. I am part hobbit, and think I should get breakfast, second breakfast, elvenses, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper. My foster family gives me half a can of food three times a day, but I will follow them in the kitchen every time they walk in there just in case they decide to finally feed me on my hobbit schedule. I drink well from a bowl or a cat fountain. While I am a little bigger, I am still very much a kitten and enjoy a good round of chase and wrestling with my foster siblings. I need lots of attention and would likely not do well in a house where I am left without a two-legged or four-legged friend for long stretches. I will likely do well with gentle kids, cats, or dogs as long as you follow the introduction procedures provided by Wild Blue Cats! And remember that I am very nervous around new people so I may take a little longer to warm up to new people. I have been fixed, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated for Rabies, tested negative for FELV, and have been given my first FVRCP. I will need a FVRCP booster around July 26th. Otherwise, I am ready for my forever home so don't keep me waiting.

To go along with my short legs, I love to play and be rambunctious in short bursts then enjoy long naps to recharge. I am looking for a home that has some experience with my breed, knowing that we Bulldogs can be stubborn and super loving all as the same time. I am still a puppy so having a leader that will help me keep learning and building routines would really benefit me. I have a foster sister that is a Boxer and I enjoy playing with her, so a buddy in my new home would be good, but I am also fine on my own. I am silly, playful, and a real sweetheart. I enjoy filling my time with playing with my foster siblings, and being my foster people's second shadow. I hear them refer to me as a ,"sun worshipper", you will find me often in the back yard soaking up the rays. One of my favorite past times is snuggling, in fact, I cherish bed time with my foster toddler, I get to curl up for a snuggle and bedtime story. I play well with others including dogs, kitties and my favorite children. The cat would say that I get a little too excited sometimes for their liking, but I do walk away when asked. I am also respectful when I get mouthy when playing and am told to stop, I respond to "uh uh." I am so smart and have been working hard on a few cool things too like sit, down, stay, come, and have been working on "shake". I have gotten used to my crate and don't mind it at all, but would much rather be with my people! I have been working on leash training, just walking on a leash is a new concept, I like to meet and love everyone and everything so a harness helps me. I do anything that is asked of me especially when treats are involved. I would love to find a family that will take me places with them, continue my training, and shower me with love. I would adore a home with kids to play with and/or some furry siblings, but wouldn't mind being the center of attention either.
