Mickey, about 7 years old, originally came to us from a rescue partner in Tennessee. He was adopted and returned after his owner passed away. He is a large, handsome tiger-striped boy with a white chest and belly and a half docked tail. Earlier in his life, Mickey was an outdoor cat, so he is still adjusting to being an inside boy. Our socialization team is working with him so he can learn how to be polite and calm, especially when he gets anxious or over stimulated. In the weeks he's been at HART, we've already noticed a big improvement! He's learned how to ask for attention and seeks out love now, which is big progress.
