Frankie

Howdy folks, my name is Frankie and I am a Doberman Pinscher mix, about 2 years old, 34 lbs and I was a stray dog in San Antonio, picked by the dog cops for loitering, sent to dog jail, served some time, ended up on death row, and then thankfully, my life was spared by 4 Little Paws Rescue. Whew, that was a close call, but these days I’m happy, living in a foster home, and having some fun, until you and I finally meet! My foster mom says I’m a pup-cup lovin’ sweetheart, ready for any adventure and any road trip. I'm friendly with people, love children, am good with other dogs, and I love the outdoors. I’m playful and energetic and can keep myself occupied with toys in my kennel, never fussing or whining about it. I’m very affectionate, love pets and kisses and belly rubs, and sittin’ on the couch beside you watching our favorite movies. I rarely bark, I’m already housebroken, love going for walks, and rides in the car, especially when we are headed to Starbucks. I am loveable, well-behaved, and teachable, always striving to make you proud, and looking forward to the day I’ll be wearing a collar and tag with my name and your phone number etched on… hint-hint. My future looks bright, and I am so looking forward to joining a wonderful family anywhere on the East Coast! Inquire about me today and bring me home! LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION? Click on the "More About 4 Little Paws" link. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Fredrick

Meet Fredrick!! This is one special guy. He was originally thought to be an 8-9 year old boy, but after getting some TLC and some new vet opinions, we think he is a bit younger. He was found as a stray in Houston and his condition when we first saved him, led to the idea he was a senior by the original shelter that aged him. This is the reality of life on the streets for a dog. . He ended up on the euthanasia list due to space and we luckily were able to save him in the nick of time. He has gained some weight and looks much healthier, this boy LOVES to eat! No matter his past, he greets everyone with instant love. He gives kisses and just melts into you for affection. He even knows some commands. Frederick loves to explore and we think a yard would be his dream! He does not love being in a crate, so a strong crate will be needed for any type of crate training. He broke out of his enclosure in boarding, so he could go hang out with a friend. He's a social guy. We think an adult only home is best since he's still learning what it means to live in a home and although he is super loving, little ones may stress him out. If you would like to provide Frederick with a loving home and show him what being part of a family is like, he would be so grateful. He is located in MA and available for meet and greets. Blueberry So smart and Goofy

Meet Blueberry! Introducing Blueberry, a charming young puppy believed to be a mix of shepherd or husky and pittie. Hes around 50 pounds, and 11 months old. Blueberry is a smart, highly trainable boy with a beautiful blue/silver coat and for treats and toys. Blueberry is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. Hes a sweet boy that enjoys your attention, he loves to hear you call him cute and handsome, and he loves chest scratches. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings and taking plenty of naps. Despite his initial shyness, he quickly warms up to people and pets, showering them with kisses once comfortable. He's hesitant around more assertive dogs but gets along well with small or gentle, larger ones. He's had the chance to hang out with our resident cat a few times and he's unbothered by his presence he's much more interested in what his favourite people are up to, indicating he could coexist peacefully with a feline friend. Blueberry has spent time with children, and gets along with them well! Recently, we watched Blueberry interact with a toddler, he was softer and gentler with a little one than he usually is with adults. He gave the sweetest kisses, kept his paws to himself and wasnt too pushy! Blueberry would do well as a family dog. Blueberry loves to follow his person around the house, gazing up for attention and affection when available. Blueberry knows some basic commands, but hes still working on some of his manners. Hes highly food motivated, which will make further training enjoyable for both of you. Blueberry is in the prime of his learning phase, showing great potential for socialization and training. He is working on his potty and crate training and needs a family committed to continuing this education and providing the daily exercise he needs to thrive. Blueberry is currently fostered in Texas, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and in good health, ready to travel across the country. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure hes the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog youve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dogs needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesnt stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan Coupons for a fun visit to Petco Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Apollo

Apollo of our Greek Gods litter is ready for adoption! Apollo is an adorable boy that's about 4 months old. He is neutered, FIV and FeLV negative and up to date on all vaccinations. Apollo came into foster care with his mom and two siblings. Mom moved to another foster home once the babies were weaned. Apollo suffered a severe eye infection and an upper respiratory infection. He was treated and he has healed well. His eye will always be cloudy due to his severe infection but he is perfectly healthy and that will not hinder him in any way. In fact, Apollo lives life to the fullest. He is one of the first kittens to greet anyone at the door. Curious by nature, he will want to be included in everything you do. Are you looking for a chatty kitten? Apollo is the one for you. He is not shy to tell you about his empty food bowl or about his excitement for all things moving. He likes to chase his foster mates around the foster room but he will happily chase a laser dot instead. When Apollo is not busy running around he likes to perch himself on his human and give his best headbutts. Apollo is a playful, active kitten that will need a playmate. His brother Artemis would make the purrfect feline friend in his new home. Please email Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com for an application if you're interested in adopting this wonderful boy!

Onnie

Introducing Onnie, an adorable mini-lab mix (around 30lbs full grown!) with a super fun personality! Onnie is an energetic and loving pup who would make a perfect hiking buddy! She walks really well on the leash and enjoys the stimulation that comes from walking in new places too! She loves to munch on her chew toys and can also entertain herself when she’s feeling playful. Onnie is around 11 months old and still very much has joyous puppy energy. Onnie’s favourite activity is to run and play in the fenced backyard at her foster’s home. She loves to play with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind if she’s a lot smaller than her playmates, since her doggie bestie is 85lbs! Onnie’s high energy level and puppy-like happiness mean that we think that she’d LOVE to have a playful doggie sibling in her forever home. Onnie has been friendly with every single person that she has ever met. This smart girl is eager to please and LOVES to learn with her foster family. Given her puppy mannerisms, her foster family have been teaching her “sit” and “don’t jump”, and she has been catching on super fast! She responds to “NO” and is very easy to redirect. Onnie currently lives with cats, she finds them to be curious and a little exciting, but she is learning to respect their space, and her foster family know that she will not hurt them. She has met kiddos and loves their company. Onnie knows how to use the doggie door at her foster family’s house, and she is fully potty trained. If you think that Onnie is the missing piece for your family, apply today! Onnie is adoptable in both Texas and northeastern states. *All breed listings are educated guesses and not guaranteed*

Andrea

We recused Andrea and Autumn (along with their 3 siblings ) from a very dire situation when they were barely 2 weeks old. Their mother was trapped, spayed, vaccinated and released back into a colony because she was too feral to be adopted. While the litter of all females was filthy and covered in fleas, they had been well fed and took to the bottle fairly quickly. It was discovered, however, that Autumn and Andrea had severe deformities of their back right legs. Both also battled gastrointestinal issues during the weaning process and had to be monitored closely for weeks while they adjusted to their new diet. Their sisters thrived and were transferred to another rescue group in preparation for their eventual adoptions. It was determined that Andrea and Autumn would need further extensive care and leg amputation surgeries once they were healthy enough. Three plus months later, these two remarkable kittens that had so many obstacles to overcome, underwent their surgeries and have recovered better than any of us imagined. They are happy, healthy and ready to find their forever home together. Both are outgoing, love to play and will jockey for position on your lap for a catnap. They have been around other cats but may need a little time to warm up to a family dog or small children.

Clovis the Cuddler!

Hey there Clovis and his sister Prima were rescued by a kind stranger on the side of the road after their mom was hit by a car. Sadly our mom didn't make it, but we were rescued and taken care of by a family. We are now old enough to be adopted into a loving family. I am 10.5 months old. Very friendly and playful with people, cats, and other dogs. They have not been exposed to kids face to face, however, the kids in my neighborhood make barking noises at my brother and I barked back in a playful response, tail wagging. I am shy and sweet when I am first getting to know you, but when I am comfortable, I am a happy playful pup. I will need some help walking on a leash and continuing my basic training, but I am smart and learn quickly. I am spayed, vaccinated, ready, and eager to meet a family that wants to adopt me.
