You’d never guess I was an outdoor kitty until coming to AC&A at around four months old—I’m totally loving this indoor life! I’m a sweet, gentle guy with a big personality that’s impossible to miss. Sara comes all the way from Azerbaijan (former Soviet Union) to find her family! We rescued Sara from the streets when she was just a little kitten. Sadly, due to the cruelty she endured, one of her eyes had to be amputated. Stray life is extremely dangerous in that region, and Sara is lucky to have survived. Sara turned 1 in May. She’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Photos don’t do Sara justice. She’s an adorable couch potato—cute, friendly, and sweet to everyone she meets! Sara is super cuddly, incredibly affectionate, and enjoys lounging around. She’s perfect in both personality and looks, and she’ll keep you smiling every day. Winnie is a 3 year old female Boston Terrier mix who has 3 legs. Winnie was rescued and found to be malnourished with a severely fractured leg which required amputation. She is fully back to health and she loves attention and enjoys being active in the back yard. *brown short haired Syrian hamster *Born 7/24 -This sweet girl came up with a group of hams we took from a rescue that pulls animals from kill shelters down south. They had been dumped with their mom on the side of the road in a tote. They are sweet little girls, though a little bit skittish at first, they just need some more handling to get used to being picked up, especially cause they’re essentially still babies! They didn’t offer to bite at all just protested a little bit by hamster yelling lol. We recommend large size hamster cages for Syrians (critter trail cages are not sufficient), with lots of activities, things to climb on and chew, and solid bottomed wheels to run on, as well as a good healthy hamster diet supplemented with fresh foods.
