Soft Paws came to us as a tiny malnourished kitten with a severe upper respiratory infection and very compromised immune system. She was originally born into a feral colony that was not being managed in any way. Disease was inevitable, and death was near. Soft Paws had intestinal parasites, and her eye infections were out of control. Her eye secretions were so bad that our veterinarian had to send off swabs to a laboratory to get this infection under control before she lost her vision, or worse. The swabs tested positive for two common bacterias that cause severe conjunctivitis in cats, mycoplasma, and chlamydia. Soft Paws has completed weeks of antibiotic treatments, and she now feels great! This tiny fluff nugget has since been spayed and fully vetted. She is now ready for adoption! Dana

Dana is a sweetheart that is looking for her forever home. She is a senior dog who is very affectionate, loyal and friendly. Her frosty face self loves to cuddle up on the couch and get lots of pets. Actually, she prefers to binge Netflix episodes on the couch with you rather than going for a 5 mile walk. We do not know how this sweet boy does with cats or other dogs, but we do offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to make sure he's a great fit for your family!
