Ryker

Hi, I'm Ryker! I am a young adult large American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I am the absolutely friendliest dog you will ever meet! I have not met a stranger I didn't like or ask for belly rubs. If you're looking for a super handsome boy who is very eager to please to liven up your life, look no further! I enjoy car rides and chill trail walks. Crowds make me nervous and I'm more of a homebody than an adventure guy. I'm not very athletic, but I do get normal playful bouts of zoomies. Even though I'm not great at catching, I like playing with toys and eating snacks. If you have other dogs at home, bring them to the shelter to meet me. We might just become best buddies!

Cherry

In over two years, Cherry has not received a single adoption application. Not one person has ever looked at her or applied to take her home. Likely the product of an accidental litter, Cherry was abandoned at a pet store with her siblings and her parents in January 2022. We we met Cherry, we found--huddled in a corner--a two months old creature that was all ears with a tiny wiggly nose. Cherry was the largest of her siblings and became their protector when they came in as babies. She was always cuddled against them, always comforting and leaning into her siblings. As they got a little bit older, and as her siblings started to find homes, she shut down and withdrew from people completely. Over the last two years, with the patience and love of kind and gentle people, Cherry has learned to open back up. She is an extremely sensitive bunny, she reacts strongly to human emotions and is very much a bunny who picks her person. To those who take the time to get to know Cherry and show her care, Cherry is very open. She is hand shy when it comes to pets but she will come up for treats, play with toys, and deliberately approach you when she wants company. She will accept head rubs from time-to-time but will step just out of reach if you try to pet her body. She very much enjoys being around certain people and will make a point to be around you when she trusts you, even if it's just out of reach. Cherry has decided that she would prefer to be a single bunny and not have a friend. However, she enjoys the company of cats quite a bit and will even hop over to play with them at times. She doesn't mind dogs that are quieter but shuts down around loud barking. She's very sensitive to the energy of her environment and as such, she's looking for a stable home with somebody who will love her and speak kindly to her. When she has enough space, Cherry is an absolute dream bunny. Her foster tells us time and time again that Cherry's been the easiest rabbit she's ever fostered. She is quiet, well behaved, never misses her litterbox, likes to spend much of the day sleeping and lounging, and love to sit on top of cardboard boxes as well. She is perfectly content to stay in her area as long as it's large enough and is polite and easygoing. Cherry is an incredibly gentle. She'll take food right out of your palm and sit right next to you. She never boxes or bites. She just steps out of the way if she doesn't want to be touched. She'll be such a great bunny for her new mom or dad. After over 800 days of waiting, it's time Cherry finally gets her own Forever Family. Can you help us find Cherry a Forever Home before she spends a third year not knowing the love of a Forever Family? Luna

LUNA is still available for adoption! Because of the love and care of her foster family, she's come a very long way since we first rescued her from the streets. Luna has opened up a lot with her foster family and is now loving life. She's playful, friendly, loves attention, gives kisses, and absolutely has opinions about certain things. Luna does not have her incisors (front teeth) so she's an excellent free roamer because she isn't able to chew on anything. She loves to run and play and is completely litterbox trained. She's very used to free roaming and would do best in a home that would allow her to continue to do the same. Luna would very much like to remain an only rabbit but doesn't mind animals of other species in the home. Luna does require molar trims with a veterinarian every few months and is looking for an experienced owner as a result. Has Luna captured your heart? Send in an application today to bring Luna home: https://pennyandwild.org/adopt/rabbits/adoption-application/

Jett

Jett was born in our rescue on October 27th, 2023. Jett has always had a BIG personality since the day he was born. He's always been the biggest, boldest, and most energetic of his siblings. He's consistently been the heaviest and largest baby in his litter (never once giving up that title in all five months of his life), he was the first to open his eyes, first to start exploring, first to try to jailbreak their pen (at just 2.5 months old!), first to learn to jump, and first to learn about treats. He's a fearless and confident bunny who loves to run, jump, play, and explore. He's very, very smart and he's always looking for things to do with his baby energy. Nothing seems to phase him, he's completely unbothered by dogs and cats in the home. He's a little shy around children at first (when they are loud) but he comes around. He loves to hop on, over, and under things and when he's not exploring he can often be found sprawled out with his legs kicked back. He's also VERY food motivated and absolutely has the potential to learn a number of tricks. Jett has a BIG personality and he's looking for a family that can handle his silly antics, love for exploring, and high energy levels. Jett needs a LOT of toys to play with when he's not interacting with people as he's very intelligent and gets bored easily. Atlas and Calliope

This duo is 2 years old. ATLAS is a long-haired Peruvian and CALLIOPE is a short haired American guinea pig. Atlas is your typical fancy pig--full of drama! He's social and will take food from your hand, but throws an epic tantrum when you try to pet him. He sometime even nips when you try to pick him up. He's even high maintenance when it comes to grooming--because he's a long-haired pig her requires weekly brushing otherwise he'll become matted and his "bangs" will grow too long for him to see. Calliope on the other hand, she is the sweetness to Atlas's spiciness. She loves a good cuddle and all things people. She wants to sit on a lap and watch TV while being pet and fed treats. She's a petite little piggy with a good natured personality. https://pennyandwild.org/adopt/guinea-pigs/adoption-application/
