Daisy

Hello, my name is Daisy. I am a 4 month old, 4.5 lb, Chihuahua mix who is looking for a furever home! My two favorite things are playing and cuddling. I am very treat motivated. I like to lounge in the sun outside with my family, but I also like to take a nap in your lap. I give the best kisses! I do great with other dogs and have done well with children. I would do best in a home with children over the age of 6 due to my small size and sometime shy personality. I have not been around cats. I am working on house training and crate training. I am spayed, up to date on age appropriate shots, and microchipped! My Adoption Fee is $350.00

Alfalfa

Alfalfa and his buddy Darla were found at a local veterinary clinic. After every attempt was made to reunite them with their owners, Spokane Cat Clinic reached out and we were happy to be able to say yes! Since then, Darla has found her forever home, but Alfalfa is still patiently waiting for a family of his own. Alfalfa is a handsome and large adult male with an estimated birthdate of 3/2/23. Alfalfa is as friendly as they come! He does get a little bit cranky with other cats, but can we blame him? That street life is tough! Because Fafie can struggle with other cats, we recommend a very slow introduction or he may even enjoy that single cat life! He would be an excellent adventure candidate as he isn't afraid of anything! Alfalfa loves any sort of attention and affection! He doesn't mind being held and makes a perfect lap pillow! He will come neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50.00.

This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance. We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. More questions? Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/ Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed. A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs. Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive. From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddabilityhow well dogs respond to human directionwas the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs. Thus, dog breed is generally a poor predictor of individual behavior and should not be used to inform decisions relating to selection of a pet dog" - https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abk0639
