Tiffani

Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles. If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"? Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.

Keyva

LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN DOB: 09/22/2018 Meet Keyva, a resilient and loving dog who has come a long way since being taken in as a stray about a year ago. Initially terrified of home life, Keyva has gained remarkable confidence over the past year. She is still a bit scared when meeting new men, but with time and patience, she can learn to love them. Keyva is full of energy for her age and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she may need to burn off some energy before introductions as she can be a bit too exuberant at first. Younger dogs might be a better match for her playful spirit. She is also good with cats and kids, making her a versatile companion. Housebroken and leash trained, Keyva is good in the car and knows basic obedience commands. While she used to dig, she hasn’t done so in a while. She is a barker and will alert you to new sounds, and she does have a tendency to beg. She could use some work on not pulling on the leash. Keyva is okay when you leave, but she experiences separation anxiety if she knows you’re nearby but not with her. She may have accidents if left alone for extended periods, likely due to being alone for up to 12 hours. Although she was introduced to a crate early on, Keyva was scared and hasn’t had much exposure to it since. She is still nervous around new sounds and will run when frightened. Keyva needs a family who will be patient with her as she continues to build her confidence. She is a sensitive girl with a sweet personality to match. Keyva is a good dog with a lot of love to give. She just needs a patient and understanding family to help her continue to grow and thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, Keyva could be the perfect match for you. All of our Great Danes are altered, if medically possible, fully vetted, micro-chipped, and on heartworm prevention or treatment prior to being adopted. Thank you for considering adopting a rescue dog, you're saving a life when you adopt. ___________________________________________ For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org. Maddy

***Maddy is in a foster home right now, so she is not at the kennel. If you are interested in her, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you*** Darling Maddy is such a joy! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Maddy is a friendly, outgoing and happy girl who adores people and she's sure to make you smile with her silly antics. When she gets the zoomies, look out, it is about the funniest thing ever. Maddy has been in her foster home for a few weeks as she did have double ear surgery and is mostly deaf now. She is still just as fun, sweet and peppy as she ever was though, it certainly hasn’t changed her wonderful spirit. Maddy gets along great with her big 80 pound foster brother, she likes to play, cuddle and kiss him, it is very sweet. She loves nothing more than to snuggle the night away on the couch watching a little tv with her family. Maddy also loves her fluffy bed by her foster mom’s computer and happily snoozes while she works. Maddy really likes to be with people, so she wants a home where someone is home a lot. She does ok in her kennel, but does not love it. She's still young and has lots of energy so she'd love an active family who can keep up with her! If you're looking for a fun, loving and silly furry friend, Maddy may be the perfect girl for you. A home with older children who are responsible is what would be best for her, we are just so afraid if she were to sneak out the door, she wouldn’t hear for you to call her back. Her foster mom has discovered she does have a bit of a prey drive too and is very interested in little critters! A fenced in yard where she could run and play would be her dream, but it is not a requirement, she will just always need to be on her leash. If you are interested in Maddy and are at least 21 years old, fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Parker

Hello humans, I’m a 4-year-old, 15 lb Shih Tzu named Parker and I’m looking for some new digs. I am a practical dog with a medium energy level and was living in San Antonio when my owner passed away at home. It was confusing, to say the least, and I was hungry and desperate for grooming. Thankfully I managed to get outside and make myself known so a dog rescue picked me up, placed me in a foster home, and look at me now. I’m groomed, vaccinated, neutered, chipped, and ready to start over again with brand new people to love me. My foster mom says I have a go-with-the-flow personality and am friendly with people after I get over some initial shyness. I can be choosy with my dog friends, a bit indifferent towards some, and not really playful with others, but I do have lots of fun playing with whiffle balls and other squeaky toys. I’m affectionate and loyal and enjoy spending time with my people, but I’m not a fan of being held much. I’m housebroken and know how to live nicely in a home, and enjoy going on walks, but I do not like living confined or in a crate. Yes, I have my little quirks, but I know what I like, and I’m loveable. East Coast families, inquire about me today, and let's get this party started! LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION? Click on the "More About 4 Little Paws" link. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

No appointments needed unless previously stated. Tuesday - Friday: 12-6 pm and Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm. Meets now recommended (not required) with other dogs and children unless otherwise stated. All dogs will come vaccinated (age appropriate), spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, and microchipped. For questions, please message us at Facebook.com/adoptgcac.
