From the first moment she arrived it was clear she had another cat that meant the world to her - the older father figure named Commander that came to Almost Home from the same area as them. She orbited him like a tiny sun. Wherever he curled up, she had to also be. Whatever he looked at, she was interested in also. He was also her favorite play toy. While she played with toys and her siblings also, her favorite game was to wrestle with him and chase his tail. She can be very people shy, and her humans soon found out that he was also the key to pets and snuggles. If Commander was there, so was Sierra. If she was put into a cuddle without him she would run away. The second she realized he was there also though, she would snuggle in and spend a solid hour or more on the human's lap. Because so much of her ability to trust is tied up in Commander, and the strong bond they formed with Ozzie after being at AHA together, all 3 will be adopted together. Romeo earned his name by roaming our large neighborhood and visiting several lady Siamese cats whose owners let them go out on their patios..a dangerous practice with the abundant wildlife here, including bob cats! He is apx 1.5 years old and had been out quite some time per our Vet. He was well fed and is healthy, fixed, shots and microchipped. The PURR fect home for him will be with another close in age, playful male cat, and no other pets, preferably. Male cats tend to make good buddies. Prefer an adult home to ensure he does not try to escape to return to his old outdoor ways. He loves playing with toys, running thru the house, and cat napping in cat trees, and another nice thing is, Romeo is cage trained!
