Cheeto and Oreo

Oreo and Cheeto Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY Meet Oreo and Cheeto. I bet you can guess the black and white cat is Oreo and the orange tabby is Cheeto ? These sweet kittens are both male, approximately 13-14wks old. They were born into a feral colony that a very wonderful human cares for to the best of her ability. She noticed these two were especially friendly, so she brought them in and has been socializing them. Now it’s time for them to find homes of their very own. They get along quite well and can be adopted together but are not bonded so they can be separated if necessary. Oreo is very sweet. He loves to be pet & he is very vocal. He also enjoys being carried or simply sitting in your lap. Cheeto has come a long way, but he is still reserved and will need a bit more patience until he feels safe and secure. He is not aggressive; he is just skittish and a bit scared, but he does enjoy being pet. They’re both extremely food motivated and really enjoy snack time, especially Churus. Those are their favorite ? Both are litter box trained, neutered and UTD on all. If you are interested either one or both of these sweet kitties, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below. Tank

Hi! My name is Tank, will you be my new family? I was rescued from a life on a chain in a bad neighborhood. I was sad, underweight, and neglected when I was rescued. I am about 4 years old, I have spent almost my entire life waiting for my forever family. Now I am fat and just about the happiest boy you’ll ever meet! I have been to board and train so I have the absolute best manners. I live to play with my stuffed animals and I love to meet new friends who give me booty scratches. I am friendly toward other dogs. However, I would prefer to be an only child. If you’d like to meet me, please submit a foster or adoption application! I am located in Houston, Tx. My adoption fee includes transportation.

Tilt

Tilt is just the sweetest boy. He is friendly and playful, but also loves a good nap. He's currently snoring on the sofa as I write this. He seems to be just delighted to have joined our family, and although we are having to integrate him slowly since we have two dogs of our own, it is clear that he just wants to be with us. He sleeps in his crate very well at night and seems only to bark if he needs to go potty. He does fairly well going potty outside, but has had a few accidents, so that is a work in progress. He also does pretty well on a leash and loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. Tilt has been very tolerant of our dogs, who have been a little unsure of him. Overall, he has not been aggressive and just wants to play. He also loves our kids and loves to give kisses. He can be a bit rough, but he's a big boy! Our youngest kids are nine-year old twins and he does great with them. Tilt loves treats. Sometimes, when it's something new, he gets so excited that he plays with the treat before eating it. It's very cute! Tilt is a great dog and I know he will be a great addition to a family. Tilt comes neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

Ghost

A note from Ghost's foster mom: "Ghost is a beautiful shorthaired white kitten with a gray tail and a sweet dot on her forehead. The moment you enter the room, Ghost will stop everything she is doing and roll over and start purring. Ghost loves to make biscuits and is always ready for a cuddle session, making her the perfect companion!" Don't miss out on the chance to bring this sweet little Ghost into your family! Please come adopt Ghost today! And please also check out our other kittens too! Ghost would thrive with a playmate! Did you know kittens do better together? It's true! When kittens are raised together, they play, sleep and learn together. They look out for each other, and keep each other company while you are away. This makes taking care of them much easier for you, and results in happier, better adjusted cats with fewer behavior concerns overall. Plus, there's twice as much love and fun waiting for you when you come home! If you have no other cats in your home, or even if you do, please consider taking home more than one kitten. You'll be glad you did!

Cassiopeia

Cassiopeia will shine bright and rule over your heart and home. This girl might have had a rough early start in life, but she is the happiest girl. With continued training she will be the best behaved pup; she is very smart. She sleeps in her kennel overnight, does not wake anyone up and rarely has an accident overnight. During the working hours she is kenneled. Somewhere between 4-5 hours, she will have an accident on her potty pad. She's working so hard on potty training. She gets excited when humans come home, with her full body wiggles, she will happy pee. She is a baby still and wants so hard to be the best girl. She is very food, treat and toy motivated. Loves to bring humans and resident dogs her stuffies and bones, loves playing with the resident dogs as well. Oh and snuggles, those are her favorite, whether it be from humans or doggos, she loves them all. She understands the word no, so the word no and redirection have been working well with her training. She has not been introduced to children yet, I do believe that she would love them all. She and the children would need to learn the proper way to interact with each other. She should meet all members of the home, prior to adoption. Email Foster@kcpetproject.org if interested in adoption

Winnie

A note from the foster mom: "Meet Winnie and her litter mates, Martha and Frank! "This three pack of siblings was born at the shelter on June 2, 2024. Unfortunately, their mother could not care for them any longer and came to foster 11 days later. "All three are exceptionally loving. When they greet you in the morning, or really anytime, a low but loud, purring hum is heard. They really love people and want nothing more than to be the center of your attention. Which also means being "underfoot" most of the time....so watch your step, they follow! "Food is their love language. Avid wand players, however all the normal cat toys are favorites too! Martha is a pant/leg climber, Frank is really fascinated by toes and feet(nibbles them), and Winnie likes both. "All are exceptionally playful and social so having a friend or two in their forever home would be ideal. They have been around dogs, other adult cats, younger kitten fosters and people of all ages. "They DO NOT like the outdoors (controlled visits were attempted...let's just say, it did not go well) but very much enjoy watching from windows and doors. "Our entire family absolutely adores them and knows that they will be a fantastic addition to their forever families!" Sky

Sky is a little queen. She’s a confident girl who loves mouse toys and springs — anything she can grab and carry away with her. She loves attention on her terms. (Hey, when she wants to play, she has no time for snuggles.) She would probably do best with a kitty friend because of her playfulness. (Good thing she has several siblings who would be great companions.) She loves head rubbings and is a purrinator. We estimate she was born around the end of June. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has received her rabies and two distemper shots. Questions?
