Tippy

Tippy came to us a feral kitten, along with his mother and 4 siblings. They were found under a trailer house. Tippy has come a long way since he came to us. He likes to be pet and given love. He's playful and likes to cuddle with his litter mates. He'll need time and patience to get used to his new home and family. Once he's comfortable, he'll be a wonderful addition to your family.

Grimbolina Pretzel #1241

Hi! My name is Pretzel! Fun Fact about me! I have so many alien heads in my pattern that makes me very unique! I'm a relatively young snake but I am mature! Being nocturnal, I spend most of the day sleeping in my hide but I do like to come out in the evening to socialize. I am very easy to handle and hang out with. My Foster Family says I weighed 1774g on 4/8/2023, length -> longer than 5 feet, and they had not measured girth. They say I am the most active at night but will occasionally poke my head out during the day and I am friendly. I require my own habitat that is secure. I have managed to get out on a few occasions so my habitat will require a lock. With the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity I can live a long and healthy life of up to 30 to 40 years! Though I am considered on the small side now, I can get as big as 5 feet, as a female, maybe even bigger! I was transferred to the rescue by my second home. They adopted me from a neighbor and realized they love snakes but they are not a snake family. And that is okay! They wanted to give me the best chance to find my forever home, so they did right by me 🙂 Now I am looking for a family that is a snake family, is it you? If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below my bio on the website. Here is the link > https://www.smallbreedrescue.org/Home/AnimalDetails/1241 PLEASE NOTE: 1- We can only accept applications from interested parties who are in or near San Diego County, California at this time. 2- We do not ship reptiles but we may be willing to work with you if you are willing to travel if you are still in Southern California. 3- #2 will depend on the animal that you are applying for and is at the discretion of the board of directors.

Chris

Allow us to introduce Chris! Chris was born on June 7, 2021 to a Rex rabbit dad and an Hotot rabbit mom. He was one of six beautiful kits. Chris is an easy-going and curious bunny. In his pen he’s tidy and loves to toss toys around or hang out on his platform. He’s a smart boy and will get excited for snack time. He’s fine with sometimes being picked up and will enjoy a snuggle. If sitting down with him, it’s best to let him explore! As long as your home is bunny-proofed, he loves to hop (and binky!) around and will find places to nap. If you can provide unconditional love and dedication to a rabbit for 8-12 years (or sometimes even longer!) in a forever home, please complete an online adoption form here: https://allistonhumane.com/small-animals

Arwen INDOOR ONLY

This beauty is Arwen! Arwen was unfixed living in a dangerous place in Stockton. We were conducting some TNR in the area and Arwen was trapped and taken to a community cat spay and neuter program where she was spayed and vaccinated. Upon recovery it became abundantly clear, she was not the slightest bit feral. Due to her going through the community program, her ear was tipped. Now that Arwen is safe in foster care, spayed she is really blossoming. She’s an extremely sweet kitty who loves hanging and lounging in your lap, you’ll even find her at times giving you lots of kisses. she’s a very unique kitty with a different kind of personality. One of her favorite things to do when she’s not playing is napping by a sunny window in her tall cat tree. The unique part about Arwen is she dislikes being pet when it’s not on her terms. She will seek her foster mom out and come snuggle in her lap often and only at that time will she allow you to pet her, she will not tolerate being pet unless only in your lap. She’s very set in her ways and will become upset if pestered too much so a fun way to interact is doing what she loves and play with a long handled toy, she really enjoys that. Arwen is very smart and adventurous, the great part is with her being independent she’s very low maintenance and great to have as a companion who’s fun to watch. She would not do well with very small children. She does great with well behaved dogs and loves playing with her foster kitty friends. If you think you’d be a good fit for Arwen, please submit an application today! All Second Chance Kitty cats are free fed a quality dry food with low or no grain and are STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY. Studies have proven cats live longer, healthier lives and on average require less financial burdens at veterinary offices when they are kept indoor only. There are so many predators out there, both human and animal and it is sadly unsafe to let them roam unattended. All of our babes come altered, microchipped, vaccinated, rabies (if age appropriate), FeLV/FIV negative unless stated otherwise , dewormed, flea treated, litter box trained and full of love. Our adoption fees are a minimum $150 donation. Anything beyond $150 helps rescue another babe. Adoption isn't an impulsive decision, it must be thought out carefully. Owning a cat is a 15 to 20+ year commitment. Can we afford a cat? If we're renting do they allow pets here? Is there a pet deposit? Can we afford the pet deposit? What if we get sick, what if the kitty becomes ill and has to see a veterinarian? Kitty requires routine check-ups, annual vaccines, quality food, litter and toys, can we afford this? These are all questions a responsible pet owner must ask themselves. If you can make this type of commitment please take a moment and visit our website at www.secondchancekitty.org to submit an application. Second Chance Kitty is a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting cats, kittens and an occasional dog, escape a life of abandonment, abuse and neglect.

Ivan

You've heard of "Ivan the terrible?" Meet Ivan the "terribly cute." This handsome young adult male was rescued in New Haven. While he is a little shy and unsure of people at first, once he gets to know you, he’s a friendly boy and the gentlest cat you will ever meet. He’s very curious and loves to explore until he finds the best nook for napping in, whether it’s on a cat tree or in a laundry basket! He would make a great companion for another playful cat. He has had a full mouth extraction due to prior dental issues, so he has no teeth, but that doesn’t get in his way — he eats regular cat food, including kibble. Birth Year: 2021 ----------------- If you are interested in adopting this cat, you MUST fill out an adoption screening form on our website: www.gnhcp.org/adoptions We WILL NOT read any applications or inquiries from Petfinder. We only adopt to Connecticut residents.

Tom & Jerry (Bonded)

Meet Tom and Jerry! These two may not win the award for Fetch Champions of the Year, but they’ll definitely snag “Most Entertaining Duo.” Tom and Jerry are amazing on a leash—seriously, walking them feels like a breeze. Crate trained? Check. House trained? You bet. (Just don’t be too surprised if they “redecorate” the yard when they’re settling in!) These quirky boys have a love-hate relationship with toys—plushies don’t stand a chance, but they’re all about those Nylabones. And while they’re a bit selective with other dogs, they’re all about their humans. Slow intros are their jam, and once they warm up, especially Tom, they’ll steal your heart. And if you're looking for a pool buddy? Tom and Jerry are all in—they love to take dips! Tom’s the confident one—he’ll make you feel like a rockstar when he sprints across the yard to greet you. Jerry? Well, he’s a little barky during playtime, but hey, that’s just his quirky way of showing love. Together, these two are yin and yang—confident, playful, feisty (but never mean), and oh-so-sweet once you’ve earned their trust. They’re energetic but also know how to chill. Did I mention they LOVE treats? Especially Tom—his “fluff” speaks for itself. ? If you’ve got a quiet home with a yard for them to romp around in and the patience to help them adjust, you’re in for endless smiles and entertainment. Oh, and they’re both ridiculously adorable. You’ve been warned! Ready to add this dynamic duo to your life? Tom and Jerry are ready to bring all the fun and quirkiness your home needs. Want to meet them? Please fill out our application at azhartt.org/adopt Requirements include meeting everyone in the household, dog intros (if applicable), and a home check. Adoption applications are approved on a best-fit basis. We do not do out-of-state adoptions.

COURTESY- Little Bit

Little Bit is a handsome 6 year old orange tabby. He was rescued as a sickly kitten by his original owner who recently passed away. Little Bit is now healthy, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. Little Bit is missing most of his teeth, including his front teeth, which means the tip of his tongue is frequently out (a rather endearing look, if you ask us). Little Bit loves all people, but not all other animals; he'd prefer to be an only-pet. Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description. Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. Tuffy

Tuffy (born in 2020), is a shy gentleman and we’re still getting to know him. Right now, you’ll probably spot this beautiful orange boy lounging up high where he can keep a lookout, but he may venture down to say hello. He’s a little nervous around other cats, and would do well in a calm home with patient people; we suspect he will warm up and flourish in his own environment, allowing his personality to shine. Tuffy may have a chronic inflammatory disease that affects his paw pads, so it’s possible he will need to be on medication periodically, and our front office staff can tell you more. Profile: • Okay with other cats • Feelings about young children and dogs unknown • Shy • Recommended indoor-only due to shyness and health issues • Gentle and friendly when he gets to know you

Minny

Minny loves to climb high on cat furniture and is pretty fast at reaching the top of towers. She is quick but also very quiet. She is 3-years old and has grown up at Dogwood Farm Sanctuary. She is one of the youngest cats in a room and she does well with everyone. She has her mom, who is likely only six months older. They are much more interested in human attention. Minny and her mom, Emmie, will be adopted as a pair as they are bonded and good playmates. Minny is friendly and outgoing but is watchful for about a minute before she figures out a way to your lap. Emmie is the socialite of the pair and will waste no time saying hello. Both cats are very sweet and very beautiful. The type of cat that you see in a painting of an old time bookstore in the sun spot. If you are interested in adopting Minny and Emmie: Other pets in the home must be current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative and altered. Applicants will be screened, including a home visit. If you would like to meet them, complete an application on our website dogwoodfarmsanctuary.com and then request an appointment. Thanks for your interest in Minny. We will continue to take applications until we find the right match.

Emmie

Emmie is very outgoing and friendly. She is smart and acclimates well to new environments. She will solicit getting petted and has a happy and confident manner. She has a tiny white mustache and we called her milkstache for a while, "Em" for short. And then it became "Emmie." After rescuing Emmie, we were informed that she had one kitten left at animal control. We didn't know about the kitten, and went back to retrieve her. The instantly recognized each other and play together. We would like to adopt Emmie and Minny together. Emmie is likely 4 years old and Minny is 3 and a half. If you are interested in adopting Emmie: Other pets in the home must be current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative and altered. Applicants will be screened, including a home visit. Romeo

Romeo is 6 months old and currently weighs 40 pounds he shouldn't get too much bigger. We believe he is a boxer/hound/pity blend. He is very sweet and super smart. He loves playing with toys and other doggies. He would be great on jogs or hikes and then come home and snuggle. He still has puppy energy and needs to be taught not to jump so probably would do better in a home with bigger kids. He desperately wants to please his person. He sits and waits patiently for food. Romeo came to us from our local city kill shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized because they were out of space. Romeo has been with us about a month and has done great in his foster home. Please keep in mind he is still a puppy and will need to have exercise and attention and just like with any dog should not be put in a yard to be alone.

Sprinkles

Sprinkles is a special kitty in search of a special home. Sprinkles is a 5 year-old gal who is looking for a quiet home with someone who is patient and understands her. You see, Sprinkles came to us as a very unhappy kitty with trauma to her hind end; upon exam, our wonderful vet believed she may have been kicked or stomped by a previous owner. As a result, she has difficulty grooming around her tail and back legs, so she sometimes develops matting there. But besides daily glucosamine, she is able to run and jump like any other kitty. Sprinkles also takes a bit to warm up to new people and is understandably anxious around loud noise and fast movements - so a quiet home without small children would probably be best for her. She has lived around a small dog who she ignores as well as cats; however, she does get picked on by more confident kitties. Sprinkles is very smart though and can use a cat door. Once comfortable, she just wants to be around her people, and is very chatty and loves to rub noses with her humans. So if you are looking for a best friend and believe you can provide this pretty girl with the safe and loving home she deserves, please send an email to schedule a visit and come meet her!

Cricket

Hiya, I'm Cricket! I'm a silly little thing and I love to run! I landed at ARFhouse when I was found as a stray and taken in by some cool folks that kept me for a while. After realizing I was just a bit much for them, they called the girls at ARF! I am a very sweet and affectionate girl; I love to play, goof off and give kisses! I do okay with other dogs, but I need to be the only dog in the home. What can I say except, I want my family all to myself! Nothing wrong with that. I am your typical Pit Bull, fun-loving and energetic; I need an active family to take me on walks and let me play outside. Because of my energy level, I would not be suitable for an apartment, I need a fenced yard so that I can run and play as I please. The fee to adopt Cricket is $200.00; this includes spay, vaccines, fecal, HW- results and a microchip. Adoptions at our facility are by-appointment only. If you think Cricket would be a good fit for your family, please visit our website, www.arfhouse.org and fill out an adoption application. Once we have an application, our Adoption Coordinator will follow up with you with any questions she may have, or to set up a time for you to meet Cricket.

Missy (In Foster)

*ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED by The Madani Team - Room Real Estate* WEIGHT: ~40lbs. Cue the tears because this girl has been in "the system" for over two years now! Missy is an amazing dog who deserves a wonderful home and will make the right person/people an incredibly fun and devoted companion. That said, she does have certain characteristics that may not fit everyone. No one is everyone's cup of tea right? So, please read the full bio to see if Missy could be the dog for you! Missy spent over a year with a foster family and this has helped us learn how she truly behaves in a home! According to her previous foster, she's a canine comedian who will make you laugh and keep you entertained by the way she plays -- and the way she loves. She enjoys nature excursions, always looking for the patch of green grass to belly crawl through. And when she's not out exploring, she enjoys the couch-time chill. That's when her affectionate side comes out. Missy LOVES pets, belly rubs, and lap time -- even though she exceeds the size of a normal lap-dog. Missy is VERY smart and trains easily. She's treat motivated and has learned a whole host of commands like sit, stay, wait, down, come, and shake. She's also a touch-target pro and enjoys agility obstacles that most dogs are afraid of, like tunnels, A-frames, and cat-walks. She's also house-trained, crate-trained, and rides well in the car. While Missy loves her people, she struggles with meeting new folks. Her best self is not on display when she's approached by new people and intros need to be slow and well-managed. With the right intro, she can quickly accept people and love them forever without looking back. She can also behave in a similar way with new dogs. Missy has lived with another dog successfully and with the right intro was able to blend into the household and develop a agreeable relationship with her furry foster sister. As long as the match is right, she could live with and happily enjoy another dog. She just doesn't enjoy the casual run-in with a dog she doesn't know. And because of this, dog parks, dog beaches, and other places with a high volume of new dogs, are just not her jam. And unfortunately, Missy is also not one to enjoy the presence of young children or cats. It's just the cold hard truth. Missy is Missy and while work can be done in her "areas in need of development" it will be important to understand that good management is and will also be her key to success. We know there are MANY people out there who have what Missy needs and who need a Missy in their lives! Could it be you? Fill out an Adopter's profile to learn more about her from our Client Care staff and/or Missy's foster mom. They may even suggest a foster-to-adopt where you can bring her home for a period of time and see how things go!

Milan

Milan came to us as a stray/hitchhiker under the hood of a car. We don't know his full story, but we do know he deserves a new home and a family to call his own. Milan is shy cat that needs an adopter or family that will give him time to adjust at his own speed. He is non-aggressive when approached, just cautious and will sometimes move away if feeling uncomfortable. We know he has oodles of potential and just needs that right someone to give him a chance to shine. Milan has an approx. DOB of 12/22/2019. If you'd like to meet Milan (and gosh, we sure hope you do), please visit our website to review our adoption policy and procedure and to schedule an on-site visit.
