Vilya

Sweet little Vilya is waiting patiently for a home to call her own. She is a good girl, who happens to have impaired vision (a scratched cornea.) The vet says it should not cause any additional concern in the future, but it does limit her to seeing mostly light with that eye. She's a beautiful black and white tuxedo girl, with an adorable pink nose! Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all applicable birth-to-one-year FVRCP, FeLeuk and first round of rabies vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Please note, young kitties do best with another kitty in the household. G-Tab

Hey guys! The name is G-tab! I’m a pretty girl with a penchant for wrestling with Gray, my arch nemesis. I am a playful girl who is a lot like chocolate, I go well with SO many things. I like to cuddle on my terms. When I don’t feel like running around with the zoomies with my siblings (We can be a rowdy bunch), I like to sneak in a quick boop’n’snuggle before running back to my demanding kitty training regiment. And Gray? My arch nemesis? My sneaky sister. She takes me down when I’m not looking. Speaking of sneaky, have you ever tried to catch the little red dot? I could chase it for HOURS. I love to play! I’m loving and sweet and there’s literally nothing wrong with me! While I’ve never been around kids, I am happy to be held and handled, which is a bonus when it comes to kids! Because of my love for wrestling, my perfect home would be one with another kitty, whether it be one of my siblings or another kitty in the home. I’ve never seen a dog, but with the proper introduction, it would probably be okay. With time and supervision, anything can happen! Are you ready for an adventure? I’m your gal!  I have been spayed, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed and I am up to date on my vaccines. I’m looking for my perfect home. Liam

Liam was rescued from a breeder. He was going to be sold to a pet store, however they rejected him because he was born with congenital cataracts.  These type of cataracts can improve as he gets older. He was born on 6/16/2024 and he is currently around 6lbs.  Right now he has small dots of cloudiness in his eyes.  When the area of cloudiness on the lens remains the same size, by the time the puppy becomes an adult, the affected portion of the lens is relatively small. By adulthood, many dogs born with cataracts are able to compensate and see "around" the cloudiness. Treatment may not be necessary until a high degree of vision is lost and cataracts become problematic for the pup. A cataract may affect only a portion of the lens and consequently, some dogs show few signs at all. Cataracts that covers the entire lens may still allow some vision, so the dog can “see” around the cloudy portion. The only known effective treatment for cataracts is surgery. This may be necessary to prevent blindness or sometimes the cataracts can be painful. As of now he is doing great, he sees well and is not affected at all. There have been clinical studies on some homeopathy supplements and eye drops and that have in some dogs cleared the lens and/or the cataracts have gone away. We have started him on these eye drops and supplements. He will be available for adoption after the 17th of September when he is neutered. He is up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.    A fenced in yard is required for this puppy ,  no children under the age of 8 in the household, and someone that is home more and has the time to care for a special needs puppy. This puppy also requires a puppy pen, and we will send more information after you fill out an application.

Rocky the loverboy!

Rocky is quite a loverboy! Since being rescued, he has ALWAYS wanted to be in your lap, in your arms, climbing up to rest on your shoulders or neck, and just wants your undivided attention! Yes, he will absolutely play with his siblings, however he wants his humans even more. Rocky is very gentle yet playful, full of energy yet knows when it’s time to settle down for the night, incredibly loving with his humans yet will play with others, and even from time to time will interact with small gentle dogs. Rocky’s hair color has been black until recently. It appears that as he is getting a little bit older, tiny white specks of hair are beginning to show throughout his body. It’s not as if he is becoming a tuxedo, it’s more of him looking like he’s got pepper and salt hair. No matter what the hair looks like, though, rest assured, he is still a LOVERBOY! Consider adopting Rocky today! Visit kittiecorral.org for more kitties!

Dumpling

Dumpling and her sisters Coconut, Buttons and Marshmallow were found alone in an abandoned house. They had a bit of a rough start but little Dumpling is now a beautiful, a very sweet little girl. Her foster mom describes her as being somewhat shy. Dumpling loves to play with her sisters and all kinds of toys. She will hide sometimes but loves being held. She lets her sisters climb all over her...when playing and sleeping! But don't let her shyness fool you...once she knows you, she falls in love and you are her human! Give her a treat and, pun intended, you'll have her eating out of your hands. She has been spayed, de-wormed, flea treated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, micro-chipped, received her FVRCP vaccines and is due for her rabies soon. Dumpling would enjoy being in a home with older children and perhaps one of her siblings. (Take two-they're small!) But she would do well as long as she would have lots of attention...and a warm, loving home to make her feel safe.

Maya

*** Maya is in a foster home. *** Brown tabby, short hair, spayed female, declawed, born approx. 9/1/12, #10406 Cats: best as only cat Dogs: unknown, best solo Children: adult-only home Maya first came to The Rescue House from a shelter where she faced euthanasia due to overcrowding. She was soon adopted but years later she lost her home through no fault of hers so she came back to The Rescue House. Maya is a sweet, gentle, and kind lady. As an older girl, she tends to be more calm and better suited to a home that is quiet where she can get love and pets. She prefers to be in a home where she is your only companion. Maya likes to lounge in the sun, but she does like to have her moments of chasing her feather toy. She will spend some of the night cuddling with you in bed and will even sleep on you! She can be a bit reserved and needs time to adjust to a new environment. Maya would prefer to be an only pet, although she can co-exist with another non-aggressive cat. She would probably not do well with young and rambunctious children so an adult only home would be best. Because she has not been exposed to the cat-friendly dog in her foster home we are not sure how she would do with a canine companion. Most likely IF the dog were a quiet pooch who wouldn't bother her she could get along okay. Beautiful and sweet, our Maya would love to come to you for a place to live and cuddle with you.
