I love my puppy kibble and Chew-a-Bulls, though foster mom won’t share her food. I’m a sassy, feisty girl who loves to chat. Foster mom says I’m demanding, but it works—she always stops to play with me and give scratches. My perfect day would be lounging in the sun, pretending to fetch, enjoying meals, and cuddling up with my human for kisses and TV time. I sleep in my crate at night but get plenty of lap time during the day. I love playing with my littermates by stirring things up and snagging their toys, though foster mom often steps in. I know how to sit & take treats gently and am eager to learn more tricks. Walks? Not my fave, but I am improving. I love barking at squirrels & digging when my littermates start it. Kids are fun, and I don’t mind them playing ball with me. Cats? Met one once, but it didn’t want to play, so I got bored. I’m in great health and love being with my foster family. When I’m home alone, I chill in my crate. I’m house-trained, rain or shine, and don’t mind a bit of water—I’ll dip my paws in the kiddie pool and sit nicely for a bath. Meet Ti-Gars, a charming 5-year-old cat declawed to all fours. This feline loves cuddles and shows his affection by rubbing and sticking to you. He has an active, playful side, having already shown his potential in ambushes. It’s important to note that Ti-Gars is not tolerant of medical restraints. On his arrival at the shelter, he reacted badly and was difficult to handle. However, after several days and with the help of gabapentin, he managed to calm down and show his true character. Ti-Gars needs a longer-than-normal adaptation period, and it’s crucial to follow the adaptation protocol so that he feels safe and comfortable. Ti-Gars meows happily when you open the door, immediately gets up and comes over to you, sniffing your hand before rubbing himself affectionately against you. He loves to be petted and purrs intensely to show his contentment. Although he takes the time to observe his surroundings from time to time, he’ll let himself be petted anywhere and enjoys human company. This is not a cat that likes to sit passively on the sofa.
