Meet Jimmy, He was rescued with his brother Dean. They were lost and alone and taken in by a local animal shelter. We were very excited to get the call that asked if we would like to bring them into our rescue. We said YES! They are each looking for their very own family. I am friendly and loving and affectionate. I came to the shelter as a transfer from Animal Control, then into a foster home as a single kitten. I quickly fell for a single foster girl. We do a lot together — play, cuddle, look adorable. But we also can do our own things. We are a good mix! Howdy, the name's Leonard! They say my cowboy casanova days are over : ( There I was out on the interstate herding up the big metal cows running super fast, having a strange but interesting time with my bros. When out of nowhere a person hopped out of their car and wrangled us up. I did appreciate getting out of the heat but who's gonna herd those metal cows man! Anyway here's the deal: I am one of 3 pups looking to be adopted soon! We're great puppies: social, friendly, eager to please, and excited to get out into the world! We were found dumped on the side of the road in bad condition but we are so lucky to have gotten a second chance at life! Now we're healthy, strong and the best pups on the farm! Meet Pixie! Sweet little Pixie is a loyal, protective companion. She is a beagle/terrier mix with some kind of herding dog in her. The only thing she wants in life is to be with her person and make them happy. Pixie came to foster care in June as a scared and depressed mama whose puppies were all adopted. On top of this she had an upper respiratory infection. As soon as she was feeling better she went to be spayed and discovered she had heartworm. She has since been treated and is feeling great. Pixie is a sweet 3 year old who is fully potty and crate trained. She does better with medium sized dogs, has not been around cats, and should be with older children due to her herding small children. Twiggy is a big fluffy girl (possible Maine coon mix) who will gently tap your arm to request your attention. She is 7 years old and has been described as “the sweetest cat” by her current owner. We believe Twiggy would do well in a home with another cat or children. She hasn’t lived with dogs. She does get some dermatitis in allergy season. Twiggy is spayed and will be brought up to date on vaccinations prior to adoption. She is an indoor-only kitty who is a litter box champ. We are helping Twiggy's current owner find her forever home. Twiggy and 3 of her 6 feline housemates are looking for new homes through no fault of their own. All of these kitties have very clearly been loved. These lovelies were accumulated over a 1-year period by someone who is no longer in the picture. This has resulted in a situation in which there are simply too many cats for all of them to be able to thrive in one smallish home. Interested? The "GRAY-DY BUNCH" "Here's a story, of 6 lovely kittens, Who were going to be killed at the shelter All of them had fur of silver, like each other The youngest one with pearl." Yes... that's right. These 6 adorable, loving and playful kittens were given less than 8 hours before the shelter was going to euthanize them all! Luckily, rescue intervened and was able to save the lives of these Russian Blue kittens. Now they are 12 weeks old and ready for fur-ever homes! There are 3 girls (Marsha, Jan, Cindy) and these 3 boys (Greg, Peter, Bobby). Because they all look identical it is very hard to tell them apart. These kittens are super sweet & cuddly!
