Bruno

Behind these striking blue eyes is the very good natured, 37 pound, 2 year old Corgi Aussie mix named Bruno. He's a handsome, high energy boy who loves to play with other dogs and would do best in a house with another playful dog and a human who will keep him active. He is friendly with kids, does well on walks and follows his humans everywhere. He does have a prey drive with curiosity towards rabbits and squirrels, so cats are not likely a good idea in his home. Bruno does have some separation anxiety. He sleeps overnight in his crate but gets stressed in the crate when his people leave and will bark, so shared walls are not the best for him. He does need a fully fenced yard. He is housebroken and can use a dog door. Bruno does need a little work on his "yelling" at mystery dogs on the other side of the fence during walks and in his yard. He is neutered, utd on his vaccines, HW-, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting Bruno, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and to meet with everyone in the home. Bruno's adoption fee is $400.00 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.

Ginny

This blue-eyed beauty, Ginny (aka Gin or Gimli) is all about making sure you are happy by throwing the ball or frisbee for her to bring back to you. She is fast and athletic, loves walks, sniffing around, house trained, crate trained, uses the doggie door and is lovely on the leash. Gimli was surrendered to a local shelter for resource guarding her person from the other dog in the home. Saying that she was absolutely terrified in the shelter is an understatement. This poor girl was almost completely shut down but she is thriving in a home with multiple dogs. Gin needs direction, understanding, and a herding breed-experienced owner. She is a 3 y/o Australian Shepherd/ Corgi weighing approx 35#. She has not been tested with cats or kids but her previous owner said she was good with cats and older respectful kids. Gin requires a fenced yard and an active experienced owner. Gin also has a great "off" switch. If interested in meeting Gin the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Gin is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Elsa

Elsa is living in a foster home. Submit an application from our website to learn more and see if you are a match. Elsa is a sweet 3-year-old, retired mama who is learning to let her past life go. She has been enjoying foster home life and is friendly with the resident 8-year-old child and curious of the resident cat. Elsa's energy is usually calm and she enjoys knowing her spot in your space. A favorite spot is lounging in the sun in the grass and observing the world around her (she would be a lovely gardening buddy). Her sociability with other dogs has increased and she would enjoy a home with a confident older dog to show her the ropes. Elsa seems to enjoy human ladies and charms many on her walks. She manages building and city life reasonably well, barking occasionally, but not too often. Elsa has gotten better on car rides and moved from the floor to laying on a seat. She is however still weary of busy streets and large vehicles. A family who is interested in helping Elsa bloom into a beloved family member is guaranteed to be rewarded for their efforts! Elsa has tested positive for heartworm and she is undergoing treatment at our Ellis Veterinary Clinic. OTAT will cover the cost of her treatment until she is heartworm negative.
