June

Meet June! This unique looking 5 month old cutie came from South Texas where she and her brother Johnny had little to no hope after being discarded. Thank goodness they’re safe! They are the absolute sweetest pups and love to be held. They will be medium size when grown - about 30-40 lbs. Johnny & June do amazing with everyone - dogs, cats, kids. They are definitely a Heinz 57 on breed but we can tell you that they are precious. If you sit down, they will find a way to wiggle into your lap for all of the loving! They are doing great at potty and crate training and are going to be such super additions to a family! June (and Johnny) are available through Ninja Paws Rescue and are being fostered in Southlake. These pups are totally vetted. Please help us by sharing this post! Apply to meet them through our website: www.ninjapawsrescue.org

Toby-Turlock, CA

Location: Turlock, CA Introducing me.... I'm Toby, still a baby at 1 yr. old. Ya see, these really nice people found me wandering in a park, they had the vet man check me but No microchip and nobody came for me. They wish they could keep me but their resident doggy doesn't like me too much, guess I'm invading his space. I am a typical pup, I love to play, especially with tennis balls. Hey what can I say, it's in my DNA, I'm a Border Collie ya know. I have been a good house guest, walking good on leash, pottying outside and eating all my dinner. I like to bark at other dogs when I see them, so let's make sure we do a Meet & Greet with your doggy, just to be sure we like each other. I bet we will. I can't say that I have met any kitties yet, so I don't know if I would be ok with them. Wanna bring me home, do you have tennis balls? Licks and Sniffs, Toby If you are interested, please email us at: info@savethedals.org Toby will be neutered prior to adoption.

Compatibility: Queen is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, finding solace and comfort in their company. She thrives in environments where she can share her space with furry friends who understand her journey. Finn

Meet Fin! This adorable little boy is one of a litter of 5 puppies born to an Aussie mama who was turned over to rescue while pregnant. Dad was a traveling mystery man. The little family is now receiving lots of TLC in foster care while waiting for forever homes. Fin is 4 months old and weighs in at 18 pounds. We think he will likely be in the 45-50 pound range when fully grown....big paws on this boy. He’s an affectionate pup who gets along well with other dogs and is indifferent to cats. He and his sibs are typical active, vocal puppies who spend their days doing what puppies do: romp, wrestle, eat, nap...repeat. Fin is not yet house or leash trained so will need his new family to help him with those things, but he’s a people-pleaser and he’ll learn quickly with consistency and positive reinforcement. He does fine in a crate. Fin has been neutered, micro-chipped and he’s up to date on his vaccinations. His little doggy bag is packed and he’s ready to head for his forever family. If you have the time to raise a puppy and would like to give this love bug his happily ever after, please email Lindsay at lindzerm@charter.net for an application. His adoption fee is $400. He’s waiting for you!

Ghost

Ghost is a 1 year old male German Shepherd - all black in color - who came into foster care with a broken pelvis. He has rested for the 6 weeks required to allow the breaks to heal and he is free to move about now! He is SO happy to be able to exercise and play again! Ghost was recently neutered as well. While he was under, we had another x-ray done to see how his pelvis has healed and it has healed as much as is possible. Our vets have told us his pelvis will never fully heal back together (his injuries were pretty severe), but that won’t stop him from being a normal dog – running, playing, and taking walks are all things that Ghost can still enjoy! He just won’t be a jogging companion or a big-time hiker. Ghost is friendly and playful with the other dogs in his foster home but is a little unfamiliar with doggie meet & greets and tends to be a bit over-exuberant with the other dogs. All new experiences are exciting for Ghost! But since he IS a German Shepherd, he is quite smart and is learning quickly to adapt to the new situations! Ghost continues to work on his house manners. Ghost is measuring 24 inches at the shoulder and his growth plates are closed as shown by x-ray. Have we mentioned how gorgeous he is? His eyes are so expressive and beautiful! Ghost’s Adoption Fee is $350 which covers his veterinary expenses. Ghost needs a home with someone who understands the breed and how to bring out the best in him! He's a diamond in the rough! Ghost is fully vaccinated and has been microchipped. Please call (505) 877-7352 to talk with us if you’re interested in learning more about Ghost.

Zion

Meet Zion: The Lovable and Protective Long-Haired German Shepherd Introducing Zion, a stunning 2-year-old long-haired German Shepherd with beautiful silver and black coloring. Zion is a remarkable pup who needs a strong handler to guide him. He is not currently fixed, but the shelter will take care of that either before or after adoption. Zion is a good boy with a loving nature. Zion is being foster by an unbelievable family to help him grow. While he and our Malinois have had a few stand-offish moments—likely due to her dominance in the house and his goofy, clumsy entrance that led to a minor scuffle—we're actively working on socializing him. We take Zion to Home Depot, where he is absolutely amazing. He remains calm and non-reactive around other dogs and people, showcasing his potential to be a well-behaved companion in various settings. In the house, Zion is on guard and tends to stay near the front door, displaying his protective instincts. However, once he’s outside, he is fantastic and easygoing. We believe that with continued training and socialization, Zion will flourish into an even more incredible dog. Zion would thrive in a loving home with other pups and a family that understands the needs of German Shepherds. If you're looking for a loyal, protective, and loving addition to your family, Zion might be the perfect fit. If you have any questions or would like to meet Zion, please feel free to reach out. We are excited to find this amazing boy the forever home he deserves. If you can give Zion an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks. Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.
