Meet Cilantro.
Cilantro is a happy and spunky wire-y rescue boy looking for a home. He is around 4 years old and patietnly waiting for a family.
Cilantro is the most photogenic boy but will happily trade his modeling career here with us for a home with you!
He loves being the center of attention and getting all the tasty treats he can get his paws on. He loves smiling for the camera and showing off his little "teefers" for the camera.
He's hoping you'll see his smile and fall madly in love!
Cilantro is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and kept on prevention here with us.
He is playful, happy, observant, smart, and such a good boy. He gets a little overwhelmed with too much stimulation so he is looking for a home without young children.
If you have the perfect home for Cilantro, apply through the link below.

Kimberly
Kimberly
This lovely lady has been with us for 5 months now. She is absolutely miserable in the kennels and appreciates any opportunity for attention and to go outside. She enjoys people companionship so much. She hung out in the laundry room with us for hours one Sunday watching us do dishes and laundry!
She was happy meeting other shelter dogs outside.
Please share Kimberly and all the dogs at the shelter. They are desperate for a chance and an opportunity to find a home and a soft warm bed they can call their own.
A volunteer favorite.

Blissey (Cecil 3 Litter)
Hi - My name is Blissey (Cecil 3 Litter) and I am a new member of the AARF family. I am a beautiful young female domestic shorthair tortie kitten, but because I am brand new to these parts, there's not much more known about me or my personality just yet. If you check back a little later, I'm sure my foster parents will have a lot more information to post about me. If you have any questions, though, feel free to send an email to info@animalalliesrescue.org. Or if you just think it's love at first sight, please fill out an adoption application at this site - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org and choose me Blissey!
My adoption fee is $150.00 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

Una-Ophelia
Did you know Ophelia means "help" in Greek? Did you know that?! I find it a little ironic because I need YOUR help. Yes, you! I'm looking for a specific home. You see, I'm a shy gal, but very sweet. It takes time for me to warm up! Now, at the shelter, when I see my people I just start purring! You don't even have to touch me! All I need is time, and hey, someone has to have time! Id love to do fun things with you too! Like listening to the song "Ophelia" by the Lumineers, if they're your type of artist. I'll listen to anything really with you! My name is Ophelia and I'm a 4+ year old female. Also, check out my black nose. Isn't it cute? I would do okay with cats that give me space and I still need to be tested with dogs. All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. IN A FOSTER HOME
***I am available for adoption, but I will not be able to have any visitors or go to my new home for a few weeks. If you're interested in meeting/adopting me
once I'm ready, please submit an application!
**Please note: Animals who are not yet spayed/ neutered will be sent to their adoptive homes on Foster to Adopt, and will be required to return to our facility for all medical needs (vaccinations, dewormings, spay/ neuter, etc). Depending on the animals needs this could be anywhere between 1 - 4 return visits to the shelter. Once the animal has been fixed, their adoption would then be finalized and the adoptive family would take them to their personal vet from there on out. Please take this into consideration prior to submitting an adoption application.**

Chilindrina
Chilindrina is a funny, sweet girl that is such a joy to have around. She adores attention and can be vocal when she wants you to snuggle with her.
She is pretty good at scheduling her days so they are equally divided into napping, playing and cuddling.
Chilindrina would be happy adopted into a single cat household or adopted into a home with another friendly cat.
You are invited to meet this adorable girl and see if she is the right kitty for you.

Nina
Nina is an adorable, friendly girl with a sweet personality. She loves people, pets and treats, though not always in that order. She is affectionate and playful and is good at keeping herself entertained with her cat toys in between long naps beside the window.
Nina can be adopted into a home with an existing cat or adopted into a single pet home.
You are invited to schedule a meet and greet with Nina and see for yourself what a lovely girl she is.

Sunny
If you are looking for a lap cat or a snuggler, look no further. Sunny maybe a senior but still enjoys being with his human. He's an affectionate cat that wants a monogamous relationship.
He will snuggle and cuddle and follow you around. He is very loving. He also still enjoys playing with a few toys with his human such as wand with mouse and a wand with ribbon.
And you'll want to be affectionate with him because his fur is soft and has a fluffiness texture. He understands also some commands especially if you're calling him to give him snuggles.
This sweet angel was abandoned by renters likely because he's a senior and he was in horrible condition. His foster rescued him and Kitten Rescue has helped him medically improve. He deserves his golden years to be loved just as much as the love he gives.
This cat does not like other cats and needs to be the only cat in the home.

Leela
Leela is a gentle soul with a story to tell. This beautiful long-haired gray tabby came to Kitten Rescue as kitten almost two years ago, about to lose an eye due to infection. She was adopted and then recently returned due to a new baby in the house. Leela may only have one eye, but that doesn't bother her one bit. Leela is a shy cat who would do best in a quiet and calm environment where she can feel safe and secure. While she may take some time to warm up, Leela will let you pet her once she feels comfortable.
Leela seems afraid of other cats, making her the perfect companion for a household where she can be the center of attention. She'd also benefit in a home with a family who has experience with shy cats and can give Leela the time and space she needs to get comfortable. If you're looking to provide a loving and nurturing home for a special feline friend, Leela is ready to share her quiet strength and affection with you.
Shy, Solo Cat (seems afraid of other cats)
