Sweetie

Hey, my name is Sweetie and of course that is a perfect name for me! You could also name me "Thankful" because I was rescued by a kind stranger on her way home from work. She saw me on the street next to the Atlanta highway and it was the afternoon rush hour! Well she couldn't leave me there so she stopped and picked me up. I have waited at the shelter my allotted time and I am now ready for adoption. I am a three-month-old terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. If you think I might be a good fit for your family then fill out the adoption application and come in to meet me. Please remember I am still a very young puppy and I will need lots of your time and patience. I want to grow and be a loyal family member for many years!

Chiclet

There are so many things about this sweet kitty that make him so incredible. The first thing you might notice is that he is ? a polydactyl. Not just on two paws, but all four paws. The second incredible thing that you don’t know about him is that he is a survivor. He had Neuro FIP and survived. FIP is no longer a death sentence as it once was, while he lives and is healed he did lose his hearing. When he walks, you’ll see him swing his head from side to side, which only adds to his unique character. A third thing that makes him incredible is there is not any kitty he has met that he doesn’t like. He gets along with everybody and just wants to play. Well, he doesn’t really like dogs. The fourth thing about Chiclet is that his favorite place is being held like a baby while you’re scratching and rubbing him. Yes, you can actually rub his belly, and he loves it! As a matter of fact, I’ve been holding him and loving on him, and he will actually fall asleep in your arms. The fifth thing that makes him incredible is something that I cannot describe but you just have to experience it. Every so often he will just meow and it is the most sweet, unusual -here I am type of meow. All he needs now is for you to adopt him to discover other things that make him so incredible. All of our foster kitties are raised in foster homes, are up to date on vaccines for their size, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested and microchipped. Interested in adopting? Grayson

Grayson is a 4 year old Russian blue that we pulled from a high kill shelter. Grayson is one of the sweetest most calm cats you will ever meet and is a total lapcat. The reason we said he has special needs is because he has vision impaired vision. He is NOT blind but does have some trouble seeing and sometimes bumps around into things. Grayson is quiet, loving, and wants to sit on you and purr all day. He loves children and other animals but would be okay as a solo cat as well. Grayson is one of the most special souls you will ever meet.

Darwin

Kids - possibly, older Cats - unknown Dogs - well matched Special Needs - senior dog, can be vocal not for condo. Somehow Darwin ended up lost and brought to us, and we are all shocked no one came for him. Darwin is a big boy with a gentle disposition and a bag full of fun tricks. He can shake, sit, down, high five and plays dead! We believe that Darwin is about 10 and is in great shape for his breed/age. That being said, Malamutes age quicker because of their size and his new family will need to consider that. Darwin has met a few dogs and done well as they have all been polite. Any dog in the home would need to be introduced and ensure they don't jump all over him. Darwin met a staff members 6 year old and was gentle, but he could overwhelm toddlers with his size. He truly is a gentle giant and will make someone a wonderful cuddly companion!

Squash

Squash was found outside, very skinny and dehydrated , at the end of November. He was estimated at around 2 years old. Squash hid for 2 days and then took advantage of all the perks life indoors offers. Squash is very affectionate as soon as he settles in. He is the absolute champion of cuddles. As soon as his foster sits down, he jumps up on to his lap, gives me a few loving nose-bumps and plops down into his lap. Squash enjoys naps with his foster , he likes to curl up. Squash loves pettings. He can lay on his back for hours getting belly rubs. He’s a little nervous around new people, but opens up to them eventually. The second his fosters wake up he meows for attention .He likes to follow them around the apartment. Squash is very curious , he likes to make sure he doesn’t miss anything his humans are doing. He loves his string toy ,has moments when he plays a lot but he’s more a couch potato . Squash has been neutered , vaccinated, dewormed , microchipped, and has tested negative for feline aids and leukemia. We feel he would love being the only cat as he loves getting all the attention. After the stressful time he went through outside he deserves it. He could also be ok with a calm friendly cat.
