Crew is an adorable black kitten who is one of six kittens Mama Marina gave birth to on a boat! He is the social butterfly in the family! He’s always the first one on your lap and loves to seek attention from anyone and anything. He’s playful and curious until it's time for a nap then he will sleep through just about anything.
Crew is a sweet boy who enjoys cuddles and will show his love and affection with a soft tongue. He really is the sweetest companion.
Crew does well with children and could also do well with other cats and dogs, provided introductions are gradual. Crew is looking forward to joining his forever family!

TYSON
This stunning boy is Tyson! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 7/20, and no one has come to reclaim him. Tyson is now keeping his paws crossed for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Tyson as calm and quiet in his kennel. Someone took the time at one point to teach him a few basic commands; he sits very nicely when asked. Tyson has some flaky skin on his back, but with a little TLC, and proper skincare he'll be back to feeling and looking his best in no time!
Tyson is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 63 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Tyson in run 851; his ID # is 660448.

They were living a life of crime outside before being rescued! They are still getting used to all the new, exciting, and legal noises inside! They're very sweet and are trusting people a little more everyday! Tommy is the only long haired, fluffy kitten. Henry and Jimmy are both short haired and tiger striped! Zydeco is an energetic boy that has a big heart full of love to give! He is still young and learning his leash work and manners, but a fast learner!
He came to rescue with his siblings after being found crammed all together in a too small wire crate on the side of a county road in the middle of nowhere. He was dehydrated, extremely emaciated, and full of parasites. Even after such a harrowing beginning, he had nothing but trust and affection to give to his foster and every person since.
As the quickest to settle after play and learn of his littermates, he is a tender hearted love bug. Such a flashy handsome guy with so much affection to give, deserves a furever family to share all his playful years loving. Could he be your new furever best friend?

Wally is a goofy and sweet 2 year old male Shepherd/Husky mix. He likes to cool off by dipping his paws in the kiddie pool. He is very friendly with everyone, including other dogs. LAKITA
Meet LAKITA !
LAKITA is a gorgeous Border Collie and possibly Anatolian mix that was found wandering out in the country in West Texas. She was found by a kind person and brought into a high kill shelter and was placed on the euthanasia list when no one came forward to claim her. A volunteer at the shelter fell in love with Lakita and took her into her home to foster and find her a furever home.
She is around 2 years old and weighs about 50-55 pounds. She is doing well on a leash and is a quick learner. She has a sweet personality and loves to give hugs (she is amazingly gentle with her hugs)! She would do best with children over 8 years due to her size...she may unintentionally knock little ones down.
She has a beautiful light orange and white colored coat and cute white socks on all four paws. If you look really closely, you can see some freckling in her white markings on her nose and paws.
She is good with other dogs and loves to play chase and wrestle.

Lakita's adoption fee is $500 (which includes transport) which includes her spay, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, and bordatella), flea and tick prevention, negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, and registered microchip.

MAVERICK
I am Maverick, I am your typical little brother. My big foster sisters get sick of me because, just like little brothers, I think I can do everything they can do. I hang on them and irritate them. They know that someday I will grow up to be Top Gun. I am pretty good at entertaining myself but I love to be with the other dogs.
My foster sisters and mom are trying to teach me that puppy biting isn’t cool. But my little teeth are really bothering me and I'm in that "teething phase". I am doing well with potty training. Mom tells me every time I go outside what a good boy I am. It makes me feel big. I haven’t had many accidents in my kennel. Only if mom is gone for too long. I have met a few cats, and they were calm, so they were ok that I have no manners. I just get so excited and get overzealous. I haven’t met any children yet, but they need to be old enough to know that I chew on everything but will hopefully outgrow it. I love toys, especially if they squeak. I love to cuddle when it's quiet time. I'd love to have a big fenced yard to play in and another dog to teach me the ropes.
Maverick is a growing male Posavac Hound/mix (our lofty guess of what breed he is!) who was was born approximately 4-12-24. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, and started on heartworm prevention. Adoption fee is $500 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs.
