Last week a semi feral pregnant cat went into labor shortly after being trapped. Due to complications she needed to be taken to the vet as soon as possible. Early the next morning, while in the car ride on the way to the clinic, she gave birth to her first healthy kitten. We temporarily named this little one Exit 154A, as that’s roughly where they were when they came into the world.
Later that evening, she gave birth to two more beautiful kittens at a foster's house. The mama cat has been named Lyric and her kittens have been named Coda, Harmony, and Opus 🎶🎵🎼. They are growing quickly and doing well 💞✨💖

Did you know that intact Tom Cats usually have big cheeks and a strong odor? Due to their high levels of hormones and pheromones they are both jowly and fragrant 🦨💨👃 And if you want to talk about stinky cheese, this guy here- whose name is Queso 🧀 stole the hearts of several volunteers after his recent trapping 🪤 Just look at those CHEEKS! Tomcat jowls provide protection during cat fights and neck biting. Earlier this week Queso was brought to @feralcatproject Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project clinic with a couple of other Tom’s who were all successfully neutered and treated for wounds. We love you Queso! 🧡🧀🧡

What does it take to find a cat lost for months? Determination, hope, and a whole lot of heart.

When Oscar escaped, his family searched tirelessly. They tried everything—fliers, social media, search dogs, and even drones. Months passed with no sign of him.

But then, the unexpected happened. Jill, who lived miles away noticed a cat in her yard. She made him a safe space on the porch and posted about him online. The community came together to make sure he could find his way back home.

The moment his microchip confirmed it was him, tears of joy were shared. Oscar had traveled 7 miles, gained a few pounds, and survived against all odds.

Maria, his adopter gushes, "Big props to Jill for taking such good care of him. It was also so amazing to see so many people coming together to help us get him back. It was so heartwarming how many people cared and helped."

This story is a testament to what’s possible when people work together. To Jill (the person who found him), Amanda (ACP volunteer who saw the post by Jill, Maria (his adopter), Dean (his foster parent who identified him at the first glance) and everyone who cared enough to help—thank you. ❤️
