MAWMAW

I never had a name, until I was rescued off of a chain that I lived my entire life on. Now my name is MAWMAW, because I have had too many litter of puppies to even count, I am a mom, a grandma and a greatgrandma!! I am around 8 years old, or so my rescuers were told. I love people, and like to be petted. I HATE, I know that is a strong word, but I do HATE other dogs. I would really like to have a home where I am the center of attention and there aren't any other critters around me:) I would like to have a nice yard to walk around in and comfy bed to sleep in. I am currently living at a vet clinic, because there is no place for me to go that doesn't have furkids running around, so here I am still with them, but I dont have to interact with them. Is there anyone who would be willing to let me chill at their house or maybe anyone who would like to adopt me? I can be reached at www.pupsinperil.org/adoption/ MawMaw came to us from a horrific hoarding situation. She had lived on a chain her entire life, with little room to move around. She had many litters of puppies. Mawmaw is a sweet girl who loves people, but she is very dog aggressive. She is still quite active for a senior of 10 yrs. MawMaw isn't a large shepherd, weighing in at 56 lbs. We would love to find MawMaw that perfect retirement home, where she can go outside and run about ( will require a securely fenced yard), lay on a cushy bed, catch a few movies on the tv and get her belly rubbed. Since she is dog aggressive, she will have to be an only dog. She has been spayed, is UTD on vaccines, Microchipped, the only negative here is she is HW Positive. She has been started on Pro Heart shots to help get rid of the heartworms, she is not symptomatic. If you would like to give this girl a retirement home she so deserves and the love and attention she has never had, please submit an application at www.pupsinperil.org/adoption/

She is very affectionate, gives super sweet kisses, and she's relaxed and laid back. RooRoo loves other dogs and would be very lonely without them in her forever home. She does, however, need a dog that loves to play hard like she does and will tolerate her wrestling, so a large to extra large buddy is best. They also need to be tolerant of her snuggling. One of RooRoo's favorite things to do is pose for pictures! She also loves to have a good wardrobe. Roo is small but mighty and will need someone that can handle her strength when she walks, for she gets excited about exploring and pulls very hard. Continued training on this will help. There's just so much to see and so many people to visit that she can't help herself. She loves life! RooRoo has a huge fan following and is a favorite to many! She is exceptional for vet work, car rides, and in her crate. She loves to kiss babies and is the biggest sociaite ever! She never meets a stranger, and no one ever passes her way without falling in love. Full of humor, kisses, snuggles, smarts and companionship, she is close to perfect.

Denny

Denny’s perfect home would be calm where he could meander on walks with his person and sit at their feet in the house. He does not react inappropriately when people come around his person. He does not like going to the vet, it makes him nervous, but he will dutifully follow the vet/vet tech around or sit beside them while they run lab work or prep meds. He just wants that 1:1 person contact no matter where he is. He has not been cat tested. He has been around visiting children when he was at my dad’s house but was not allowed to play with them. I think older, calm children would be fine. He would not like rough housing.

Buffy

I have been at the shelter longer than any other cat here. I came into the shelter as a small kitten and got sick which meant that I had to stay in the medical ward. That wasn't very fun and I became frightened of people because when I would often see people, I would get pets and treats, but I would also get shots and stuff in my mouth. Yuck! Once, I got all better, I was much older and unsure of humans. Then, one day I finally went into a foster home, and it only took me one week in that home before I warmed up to the idea of humans being my friends and I began to solicit attention. By week two, I became best friends with the 10-year-old girl in that home. I come when called, and I love to play with string toys. I also like to chase after the marbles the three-year-old in the house plays with, But I do not like it when he chases me. I also don't like to be picked up, but I'll gladly come sit beside you and accept your pets. I've even been known to try and sneak a cinnamon bun off the counter! I love my foster home, but I'm so ready to go to my forever home and know that I won't have to move families again.

LEO

Like Kramer from Seinfeld, Leo's trademarks include being opinionated, playful, and having a fondness for nonsensical, percussive outbursts of noise to indicate a variety of feelings. Leo loves other animals and does well with both cats and dogs. Once he gets to know you, one of his favorite things to do is go for a car ride to McDonalds! Leo would do best in an adult only home with someone willing to get to know his quirks and work to create structure in the house with him.***ADOPTION SPONSORED***Thanks to generous donors, Leo will go home with a FREE adoption success kit (includes a crate, collar, leash, and other goodies!). 5/18/24 6:29 PM

This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is dewormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick and preventatives. Animal Alliance's policy is that we will adopt dogs younger than 1 year old to families with children under 9 years old. We do not adopt dogs 1 year or older to families with children under 9 years old due to the unknown history of adult dogs. Prior to submitting an application, please see the Animal Alliance Adoption Process for adoption details. Animal Alliance is not a shelter where all the animals are housed in one location. Animal Alliance is a foster care network and animals are housed in many different locations. If you are interested in adopting a pet, please apply using the online application; applicants who call our phone line will hear a recorded voicemail with this identical message. Java, I'm Gentle! Adopt Me With Daisy!

The cat family was raised in a private home and well-cared for. ily!I'M JAVA THE SWEETEST KITTEN. I look like a Bombay breed cat. People say I am a gentle kitten with a mellow attitude and I know that I'm very lady-like. I'm told that I take after my mom with a calm personality. My sibling Daisy (Black & White with a cute mustache) is my best friend and she is really outgoing. I let Daisy take the lead and she will run up to everyone and I'm always right behind her to say "Hi", but I like to observe the scene for a moment before stepping in when meeting new people. I am very polite and let my sister Daisy begin eating first but when it comes to play, I am "hunting" my toys and run from one side of the room to the other practicing my "prey skills' to get them! My favorite thing is to run and slide on the wood floor "Wheee, What Fun!" When I'm not playing, I'm cuddling with my Mom Bella, or my sister. I like to be held and cuddled. I'm sure when you meet me that you will agree that my fur is so soft and you will never want to put me down. Community Animal Network didn't separate us from our mom like others do. I've had a good upbringing and been nurtured and have had a good healthy start with mothers' milk and my mom was provided with good nutrition when she was pregnant and not found starving like so many other moms. For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue that helps local animals find forever homes. The animals are cared for and raised in private homes. To donate to help local animals, use our PayPal link: www.PayPal.Me/CommunityAnimal Or Mail A Check with a Note! We love to get to know our donors: Community Animal Network P.O. Box 8662 Newport Beach, CA 92658 www.communityanimalnetwork.org The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet. Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, "How To Make Cats Happy!" The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips' registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30-day heath commitment and return policy. I'M JAVA and my black fur is really soft like a bunny and shiny, too. I am more reserved than my siblings that are really outgoing and hogged all the attention and so I started out very shy. But now, I've come out of my shell and I follow right behind my sister to say "Hi"! I love to play with all the toys - running and practicing my "prey skills' from one side of the room to the other. I really enjoy running and sliding on the wood flooring. When I'm not playing by myself or with Dolly, I'm cuddling with my Mom Bella or my sister Dolly. I like to be held and cuddled. I'm sure when you meet me, you will never want to put me down. MY SISTER IS DAISY: I'm Dolly and honestly, I am everyone's favorite and they tell me that they love me. I'm a big hit on the Zoom calls and everyone loves my black and white pattern and black mustache and is talking about me! But I'm not just a great looking Kitten. I have a lot of personality. I'm always the first to run up and say "Hi" and I like to explore, have my belly rubbed and play with my sister who is another fun-loving kitten! She and I lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze. I love to play with my sister Java who is another fun-loving kitten. But I also chase my tail when I get tired of playing with my toys. I'm just right for a really fastidious person because I like to have a clean box. I'll be your best friend always and if you rub my tummy I will adore you! I'M THE MOM: I'm Bella and a beautiful female with sable coloring with longer fur. I started out with my family, but they moved and left me behind. The very nice neighbor was 90 years old and she fed me, but I was all alone outside except when "the boys" came around. and you know what that means! RESCUE STORY: My caregiver passed away 3 days after my kittens were born and her son fed me, but the house was going to be sold and me and my gorgeous kittens had to move. I'm finally inside and I love it since I was rescued by Community Animal Network and we are all safe in a foster home, now. I'm not a big cat, my fur actually makes me look bigger, but I have the "biggest" purr of them all. I love brushing and petting and I'll follow you around for more loving. I like to play chase with my kittens and zooming around the round is really lots of fun. I'm looking for a home that would be "forever" that I can lay next to you and purr or we can play with the toys. I'm just happy to be safe and be indoors with you.
