Toast is a typical torti personality--sassy and independent, yet still enjoys some human time and play. Uniquely, she is a bobtail, with just a nub of tail.
Kittens Devin, Kia, Toast, Cork and Mercedes, along with their five incredible mom/aunts/grandmother Velma, Bertha, Penelope, Paisley, and Piper, are ready to embark on their next chapter in life and find the loving homes they truly deserve. The five mom cats and their 23 kittens recently joined us after being surrendered during a search warrant, and now they're eagerly awaiting the chance to bring joy and companionship to their forever families. They are good with cats, dogs, and children.

Otis
Otis is 1 of 3 pups that got surrendered to us due to the owner not being able to care for them. Otis is the only black one in the litter, and the smallest out of the 3. They are all still adjusting to the shelter environment, but are puppies still so they are pretty resilient! They have been doing so well with not going potty in their inside kennel, and either go outside in the yard, or if the yard isn't available, they will go in their outside run. Overnight, no poops in their kennel either, just a few pee spots. They are learning new things and getting socialized very quickly here with all the hustle and bustle and the public or volunteers coming in to say hi! Otis loves to play fetch - and is starting to figure out that 'drop' means the human will throw the ball again! He's working on sit and lay down really well. He has a lovely soft coat and beautiful puppy eyes. Please remember when your adopting a puppy, they are a 10-15 year commitment. They will need socializing, obedience, teething training and lots of love and patience!

Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. Quirks & Fun Facts: I have a lot of energy because I'm young. I'd do best in an active family where I get lots of attention and I'm not home alone for several hours at a time. I don't seem too bothered by other dogs around the shelter, but I'm still new and learning all about my new shelter friends!

Marty was found by animal control in rural OK and taken to an underfunded shelter that just didn't have the resources to help out such a big baby who is on the shy side. That's when we were alerted and agreed to take him into rescue. Marty is as sweet as they come. While very large, and still growing, he is as gentle as they come. He gets along with the other dogs in foster and ignores the cat. He is fully housebroken and crate trained. To hear him walking around the house is like listening to a horse. He's all legs. Marty is not good on leash and freezes, but he is workable. He will need a patient home with a yard for him to run free in and a family to give him lots of love.
