Comet

Comet is great dog looking for a foster home or forever home! He is so handsome! He is dog friendly and good in his crate. He’s a active boy with lots of energy so he would benefit off a active home he can get daily exercise. He need someone who can work with him and continue his training. When we rescued him from the shelter he was scared of everything and he has come a long way! Comet is very playful and loves his toys! He tends to stay to himself most of the time and rather be around his dog friends than people. He’s not a dog that really wants to cuddle up on the couch. Comet loves other dogs but can be a bit awkward so a compatible friend would be best! Comet is a 6 year old pit bull mix around 70 lbs. Beautiful white come with black spots! He is a sweet boy that deserves the best home. He’s been neutered, chipped, fully vaccinated, and current on flea meds. We do prefer a home without small animals and small children. If you are interested in meeting Comet please send us a detailed email and request an application to fill out. We do require bully breed experience and home owners only with a fully fenced in yard at least 6 feet. HOI must cover bully breeds. We are located in Northern California and adopt out locally. We need to be close enough for a home checks and meets. Simbaspawdogrescue@yahoo.com

Donovan

www.TheLastResortRescue.com PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS PET THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AVAILABLE AT THELASTRESORTRESCUE.COM. If you have a question or inquiry please email us at tlrapplications@gmail.com GOT TOYS?? Donovan was found as a stray at the tender age of 5 months. Being a black pittie mix and not a "baby, baby", Donovan sat in the shelter for 3 months. Unable to exercise, Donovan began to become overly frustrated. We had met and worked with Donovan on a trip to GA and knew he had tremendous amounts of potential... so... Donovan became a TLR dog. Donovan is living with our resident trainer, and spent a week at the esteemed Peaceable Paws basic manners training academy. He knows his cues well. Sit, down, targeting, he walks well on a leash. Donovan is toy and treat motivated. He is still working on his impulse control and will need a human dedicated to continuing his force free training. (His foster mom and our resident trainer will provide sessions at no charge!) Due to his exuberance Donovan will be best right now in an adult home, and likely as an only child. Please know that Donovan is EVERYTHING friendly, he just needs to continue to work on himself!! Donovan would love a friendly, high energy person to call his own. He would play, hike, run, whatever all day with his person. Or just hang out on the couch and watch TV!!!! He is still a young guy at just a year old, and hasn't had the opportunity to develop into the dog we know he can be. So, if you are looking for a special dog, who loves all things, and you don't mind squeaky toys... come meet Donovan!!!! 5/30/23 9:56 PM

Bella

PART OF A BONDED PAIR Meet Bella & Merlot, the inseparable senior pair whose bond is as strong as their love for snuggles. Bella, once a timid dog who was discarded by her owner, found her confidence with Merlot by her side. Since their meeting 8 years ago, they have been side-by-side every day. Merlot introduced himself with an exuberant play-bow and he didn't give Bella a choice to be friends. Now, they've been together so long they are more like an old married couple, ha ha! This mellow duo, who enjoy everything treat related, are looking for a cozy couch to call their own. While Bella may need a bit of time to warm up, it doesn't take long before she's asking for butt-scratches. They're seeking a forever home with no other animals, where they can be the center of attention as your cherished companions!

Morty *MUST READ BIO*

Do you like labs? Have you ever wanted a llama? Are you a fan of muppets? Well you’re in luck because the cutest llama legged muppet lab is looking for a home to call his own. His name is Morty and he is one cool guy with crazy eyes and a heart of gold. Morty is a 3 year old, 80lb, black lab who has legs for daysssss. Morty is a social guy who enjoys spending time with other dogs. He loves having his own fenced yard to take in the sights and smells. In the spirit of Halloween, Morty participates by kicking up dirt so that he can lay in his own shallow grave in the yard. He is an independent guy who doesn’t need a whole lot from his people in order to be fulfilled. He loves his crate and for him to be his best self he should have regular crate time throughout his day. He is quiet and non destructive while in the crate and is completely house trained. He has good leash skills and enjoys getting out for a stroll but is also happy to have a lazy day or two.  Morty’s ideal home will be one without children because he is depending on his humans to be able to understand his communication by reading his body language. It is not known how he might do with cats. He has been great with all adults he has met.  His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, microchip, Rabies & DHPP (distemper) & Bordetella vaccinations, and he has been tested for Heartworm, Lyme Disease, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia. Aslaug

Meet Aslaug, a captivating rabbit draped in sleek black fur that adds an air of mystery to her regal presence. Paired with her partner Ragnar, this enchanting duo is available for adoption, promising a touch of elegance to their future home. Aslaug's favorite indulgence is bananas, and her eyes light up with joy at the sight of this delectable treat. With a calm and content demeanor, she brings a serene happiness to her surroundings. If you're yearning for a companion with a taste for bananas and a beautiful, tranquil spirit, Aslaug is the perfect addition to your home, ready to share her regal charm. Because of their charming and distinctive personalities, rabbits make wonderful pets. Although they can be social with their human families, bunnies need the companionship of their own kind to thrive. From kissing and cuddling to sleeping and playing, bonded rabbits live as a pair and do everything together to ensure each other's safety and comfort. Without a companion, rabbits become lonely, depressed and anxious. So that our rabbits live their longest, healthiest and happiest lives, we have bonded them with a companion, and we only offer them for adoption in these pairs. Since bonded bunnies share the same bed, exercise pen, litter box, and food and water dishes, caring for two rabbits is just as easy as caring for one. So not only will you save two lives, but you'll also enjoy watching your two rabbits hop, play, snuggle and enjoy their new home together.

Jagger D5198

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jagger (aka: Kody, Kody bear, Kodiak) is a Shepherd X with an approximate DOB of 5/14/2020. Jagger weighs in at approx. 50 lbs. He is a fun and playful pup with lots of energy, who would benefit from an active lifestyle. Jagger loves to go on walks, car rides and hikes. He is a shadow and wants to follow you where ever you go. He also likes to go out frequently and run around the back yard. Jagger knows some basic commands and will do well with continued training and learning as he is a very intelligent dog. He is very treat motivated and loves a midday Kong filled with kibbles and treats. Jagger likes to play with his toys, chewing on bones and playing fetch. Jagger can be very mouthy when playing, and needs work on gentler pay, for this reason it is best if he is not in a home with children under age 12. Though, this may not be as bad as he ages. We are working on calming him down when he get really feisty, but he is still young and wants to play hard. Jagger was in a previous home with another dog who was more possessive of their food and treats and Jagger did not take cues to stop playing or bothering the dog. For this reason, Jagger would do best in a home where he is the only dog. Jagger is working on leash manners and does pretty well when he sees other dogs though he likes to try to get to them and he tries to charge moving vehicles, so more leash work is needed. Jagger does bark at other dogs and people through the backyard fence, and he barks in he house when he sees people outside, so no shared walls. Jagger also should not be on a house with cats due to his high prey drive - this is also a reason a fenced backyard would be best for Jagger. Jagger is kennel trained but may whine and bark a bit when he first goes in and when he hears people moving about. He sleeps best with a fan or other sound on. Jagger is a very sweet and loving dog who will cuddle when he is ready to settle down. Jagger is ready for his forever home, if you would like to meet him in person fill out an application.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application. Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet! A home visit is required prior to adoption. Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination: Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue. Loki

Loki is new to Beauties and Beasts and came to us from the shelter in Ponca City, OK. We are learning more about him while he is in boarding and waiting for a foster or forever home. Loki is super sweet on walks. He is a typical herding breed and gets excited and can nip at times. He needs consistent training and he corrects well verbally or with a water bottle. He sits like a champ for a treat and loves to shake. He will need a structured home and strong leader to bring out his best qualities. He is a smart boy and would benefit so much in a foster or adopter's home so that he can have the love and attention he deserves. Loki has not done well meeting other dogs and at this time, will need a home without other dogs to be safe. Visit www.beautiesandbeasts.org for more details.

Frankie

Frankie has a resilience and zeal for life that will capture your heart. She is so much more than her origin story but to understand where she is today, we have to acknowledge how far she has come. Frankie was shot with a pellet gun and some of the pellet fragments were lodged into her spine. Despite great efforts and surgery, Frankie remains semi-paralyzed in her back legs. This does not slow Frankie down in the least! Wind up a toy and watch Frankie go go go! She zips around with the zoomies like any cat, and chases toys and shadows like a pro. Frankie likes to join her foster Mom on the couch or climb up into her cat tree. Frankie adores being a big/little foster sister to animals of all kinds and would do well in an active home. Nothing stops this adventurer! Except maybe bedtime with her person, she loves to share the bed or couch. Caring for Frankie requires some experience with cats, or at least the willingness to learn! She will need to continue her low-level physical therapy routine which consists of relaxing and adorable leg massages. Frankie can't totally control when she goes to the bathroom due to her paralysis. To help with this, her bladder is expressed three times a day. Her future adopter will need to commit to properly caring for Frankie's needs while understanding they may change in the future. Frankie eats out of a slow feeder to help keep her weight at a healthy level, that we would also be happy to provide. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Our adoption application is on our website here: www.thedancingcat.org/adopt

My name is Charlie. I had a pretty close call. I was rescued after being hit by a car! I was very lucky to only have some bruising. I am a quiet fella that enjoys being pet and loved on. I'm not pushy so I wait patiently to be noticed. I can be overlooked because of that. I have the cutest little white mustache! You don't see cats with mustaches every day.
